  • Summary: CUBERS: Arena, is an electrifying arena brawler/ twin stick slasher game. Play as Baller, a slave fighting his way through an array of gladiators to reclaim his freedom. Play solo or in a local Co-Op and fight waves of enemies using a variety of weapons, armory, and skills.

    CUBERS: Arena on Xbox One is a game that, while not setting the world on fire with innovative ideas, does just enough to make it onto the "recommend" side of my personal gaming scales. If you have a friend to play with then you are sorted as it is best played in company, but the single player campaign can be fun too, if a trifle repetitive.

Cubers: Arena is a top-down hack ‘n’ slash game that pits you, a black sphere with an ugly face, in a coliseum as you battle against waves of enemies. To be honest I was not expecting that this game having a lot of futures but it actually has a lot more to it than you would judging a book by its cover. First of all you can play single player campaign or co-op or you can go online and play against your friends in a winner takes all format. Basically each time you level up you unlock new gear and skills combining them is your way to the victory and the next level. If the campaign seems to become a bit stale after a while there's some extra bonus levels you can give a go at. It is a funny game with cube graphics and funny voice lines you can versus against your friends but it's but its a short session time play style game in the end. It’s priced right and good to play when you don’t have a lot of time to sit down to play but want something new to play for your Xbox One console.… Expand
