    Such a disappointing game that had such much hype with it. The gameplay has barely changed since the original and the graphics are arguably worse. The open world is very bland and there is barely anything non-repetitive to do- climbing the tower was somewhat fun and the weapon variety was alright but besides from that it was mostly a disappointing game- story was also terrible.     El odio a este videojuego fue puro fanboyismo. Perfecto no es, hubieron promesas incumplidas tambien, pero un videojuego merecedor de un 2 o un 4 no es. Videojuego divertido, y si lo juegas en Coop, la diversion es doble, muy rejugable, en cuestion de coleccionables y y subir de nivel a tus agentes. Si jugaste el primer Crackdown, este te va a encantar.

    Very disappointed. Even if you ignore that it's nothing like originally advertised, it's just plain mediocre. You can have fun of course, but it just feels like a downgrade from the much older Crackdown 2, and I'd recommend you play it instead.

    Meu primeiro xbox foi o Series S e essa foi minha terceira experiência com o console, e por enquanto minha favorita.

    A história e o gráfico são medianos, mas a gameplay é muito divertida.

    Plutôt fun à jouer, du moins pour la parti solo, Crackdown 3.est un bon défouloir sans prétentions. En revanche le multi n'est vraiment pas terrible, trop brouillon et pas amusant.

Se eu pudesse, eu daria nota -0 pois realmente é um jogo decepcionante, me dói muito ter que dizer isso como fã do primeiro jogo, mas isso foi uma das MINHAS piores experiências.     Crackdown 3 is a surprisingly good, albeit flawed game.

    To put the premise quite simply, you're part of an agency of super-soldier law enforcement officers sent to New Providence to shut down a corporation that's been instigating global blackout attacks on cities across the world. On entry, you and your entire crew get utterly vaporized by Elizabeth Niemand's mechanical dragon and    Crackdown 3 is a surprisingly good, albeit flawed game.

    To put the premise quite simply, you're part of an agency of super-soldier law enforcement officers sent to New Providence to shut down a corporation that's been instigating global blackout attacks on cities across the world.

    On entry, you and your entire crew get utterly vaporized by Elizabeth Niemand's mechanical dragon and you are only, just barely revived with none of your superpowers by a member of the city's resistance. Your goal is to liberate the city, eliminate TerraNova's kingpins and end the blackout attacks.

    Firstly, the problems...

    Crackdown 3 has a boatload of collectibles and it's a very tedious task to complete this game 100%. Thankfully this game does have a few quality-of-life changes above the original which makes this task somewhat less tedious, i.e. being able to track down the number of Agility Orbs remaining in a given region of the city.

    This game also has a "reverse difficulty curve" whereby early objectives will be difficult to capture and you will die a lot, until you've levelled your abilities up, after which the game becomes a cakewalk.

    Two of the bosses (including the final one) are exceptions to this rule and are so very cheaply designed that I've had to cheese my way to victory through unorthodox strategies on both fights.

    Please note that this is based on the Super Agent (second-hardest) difficulty, which I've beaten. I am currently doing a run on Legendary and the aforementioned initial difficulty spike is far, far more apparent.

    Also, if you're expecting to hear Terry Crews drop loads of quips and unforgettable one-liners in this game, dream on. Commander Jaxon, the character that Crews lended his voice and likeness to, was a major marketing and selling point of this game, yet he doesn't even survive the opening cutscene and literally gets turned to radioactive dust within the first three minutes of play. Sure, you can choose him as an agent skin, but you're not gonna hear him say anything for the whole game.

    Now... the positives.

    The game controls well, has a plethora of vehicles, although regrettably no planes or helicopters. It plays about as well as you'd expect a futuristic superhero GTA clone to play and has one of the best lock-on targeting systems I've seen in any video game. It also hasn't changed much from the very first game, which is both a good and bad thing.

    Lore-wise, the game is packed deep with it, if you're willing to take the time to unlock audio logs and transmissions. It also makes a few calls back to the very first game.    … Expand

    Crackdown 3 doesnt do anything new, the world feels empty, the gameplay and missions feel like the same that the first Crackdown had to offer in 2006 and that is the biggest problem of the game it offers nothing new which could refresh the franchise. A lot of potential was wasted here it's still fun but it needs more than just the classic crackdown formula!

    I really enjoyed the first Crackdown game but sadly I was not into this one. Repetitive missions, odd graphics, and unfulfilled promises. I would not recommend this game unless you are a big fan of the franchise. However, there are some segments of the game that are quite fun ,such as fighting multiple enemies, but in the end things get pretty much the same. I did not try the coop though.

The majority of my time playing the game was spent driving around looking for things to shoot, and if you have to spend more time driving then shooting in a Crackdown game, that's already a bad sign.     This game is just fun. The story isn’t anything spectacular, but it’s entertaining. The characters are fun, and villains are unique, and options to play as different characters is a good addition. The online mode isn’t great, and only cause it doesn’t seem to be played by players. This is a good game, and recommend it.

Now matter what you do with the sound settings... So, kinda glitch on the sound levels there, one which they have not fixed to date...
    Still if you're looking for a fun sandbox game, this is it.    … Expand

    Gostei bastante da experiência, a jogabilidade e estrutura me lembrou muitos os jogos da época do PlayStation 2, e isso não é ruim pelo contrário. Jogabilidade simples, graficos limpos e coloridos me renderam boas horas de diversão. Meu ponto negativo vai apenas pela duração da campanha que achei curta.

C3 has a solid fun factor, where combat, traversal, progression, verticality and mobility are all intertwined decently.     Guns feel good and the lock-on feature works quite well and that was one the aspects i found kinda boring in the original but this is a different kind of 3PS where breaking line contact and using your mobility to your advantage is the name of the game.

    Ive played the original a few years ago and couldnt get into it but C3 feels better to play and IS surprisingly fun.

    The driving aspect of the game is abit "weird" as i like to jump from rooftops to traverse the area.

    Graphics are FINE, nothing to boast about but theyre FINE.

    Music is good, electronic sci-fi dubstep feel.

    This game has been overhyped and at the end of the day, devs didnt quite deliver what they originally promised with the destruction in the campaign.

    C3 has a solid funfactor and my score for this game is 8 of 10. It does NOT deserve all the hate its been getting, im having genuine fun with this game and wnat to get right back into it.    … Expand

    The game is short but fun to play. I kind of like the comic book style graphics but I really got annoyed by the platforming portion of the gameplay and ridiculously unreadable map espeasally in the center of the city. I would recommend the game though.

    Esse jogo foi a maior mentira do século feita pela Xbox Game Studios, como puderam mentir dizendo nos eventos e anúncios que ''Crackdown 3'' seria isso ou aquilo, e lançam o jogo todo destruído. Chegou a ser ridículo para eu que tenho Xbox One, que sempre confiei no jogos ''exclusivos'', ter tido que jogar essa porcaria. Por favor, nunca mais façam isso de novo!

    Crackdown 3 foi um game injustiçado, a jogabilidade dele é muito fluída, muito melhor q seus antecessores. A dublagem é de primeira e a diversão é garantida, quanto mais vc evolui, mais divertido o jogo fica. Quando você joga no Coop, a dificuldade se torna bem desafiante. Não vá por análise de jornalistas, dê uma chance e tire as suas próprias conclusões. . recomendo!

    Inside its genre, it's a very good game.
    It has downsides compared to the first one, but had advantages too. Very fun and engaging, try it out in game Pass. If you like Sunset Overdrive, Saints Row, Agents of Mayhem and Just Cause, it's definitely one game for you.

    Crackdown 3 isn't really bad it's just ok. Certainly it could've been way better but now looking back at it and looking at the game by seeing what the people involved in Crackdown 3 called it (they called it a "Terry Crews Simulator") I can say that if you wanted a new crackdown more than anything this game did its job pretty well. I can see that the creators wanted to make somethingCrackdown 3 isn't really bad it's just ok.     I understand the game has it flaws but honestly it was tons of fun even if a tad short, but if you have game pass it's just better to get it that way.

    Crackdown used to be the game that would get me excited to get on the console, now with Crackdown 3, I'm very let down, the graphics are sub-par ingame improvements over last version lacking. And the promises given that the third installation in the series would have are abandoned. I will never get excited again for a Crackdown game.

    Not a 10/10 game that's for sure, but if you ignore the lies of Microsoft about the power of the cloud and if this game was a non known franchise. It has nice easy mechanics well polished game play and if you like crackdown one its more of the same without bugs or glitches

    Jogo é divertido, porém, parece um jogo de geração passada, as mecânicas estão ultrapassadas e a história não empolga. O mais grave é o Marketing falso em questão do processamento em nuvem que foi muito mal utilizado nesse jogo, o modo multiplayer não precisava nem existir.

    It's essentially a remaster of Crackdown with less of the radical personality and culturally insensitive references. For me, it's hard to see this as an overly ambitious sequel that doesn't deliver. It's not the next-gen crackdown some people want but it's something that couldn't have been achieved on the Xbox 360. I think it's a really good sandbox with fun weapons, gadgets, and godIt's essentially a remaster of Crackdown with less of the radical personality and culturally insensitive references.     Here’s what I found of the game from best to worst:
    TERRY CREWS!!!
    -Good-ok graphics -Good-ok enemy (in terms of story) -Ok solo story -Ok co-op -Gameplay: would have been relevant in the mid to late 2000s -Animations: looks VERY over exaggerated -Sound design: as soon as you leave the room where you first spawn and fall into the water you can tell that the sound is all messed up -Gunplay:    Here’s what I found of the game from best to worst:
    TERRY CREWS!!!
    -Good-ok graphics
    -Good-ok enemy (in terms of story)
    -Ok solo story
    -Ok co-op
    -Gameplay: would have been relevant in the mid to late 2000s

    -Gunplay: confusing, weird

    Verdict: if Microsoft and sumo had given themselves a few more years to work on this and updated gameplay accordingly this could have been a very good exclusive but, alas, even Terry Crews and an interesting enemy storyline could not save this. So unless you are really looking to blow something up or are a die hard crackdown fan, there’s no point even thinking about this game.     Crackdown 3 takes you back to the days when games were meant to give the user a fun experience. It delivers fun in truckloads. It also has great graphics & tight gameplay. Give crackdown 3 a try..you will be shocked at how good it actually is.

    Its a fun game but thats because every crackdown its fun. This third game suppouse to be amazing but its just okay. Graphics aren´t that good for this generation, multiplay its kinda fun but the player probabilly will get tired fast.

    In the end... its a "okay" game with the objective of being fantastic which can disappoint a lot of fans.

    The plotline revolves around shutting down an evil corporation thats oppressing the people yada yada its pretty typical sci-fi-futuristic cliched stuff. The idea is you take down the lieutenants one by one thus weakening the forces of the climatic showdown with the big bad boss. You can take these challenges on however you see fit and in fact I skipped one lieutenant altogether. By this point my character had become this one man bringer of death and destruction who could leap 40 foot upwards and about 200 feet in any direction. I could one punch the vast majority of troops, one shot the majority of troops and even the elite units were basically just mild annoyances. As such I decided to take on the final boss early...and won...easily. It took a while to fight up her tower but at no point was I facing anything particularly difficult. I just tore through her troops the same way I tore through all the others.

    You shouldn't be able to do that in 8 game hours on a full priced AAA game. That's one of the shortest single player campaigns I have seen for a long while. There is little to no replayability here. Basically the game says I can go take down the final lieutenant but I've seen the credits roll, I've seen the canon ending so it begs the question; why bother?

    I could collect orbs to up my stats but they're all at 5 out of 6 and my character is already hilariously godly, destroying everything and bounding around the map with complete ease.

    So not only is it short, its pretty uninspired stuff whilst you play through it anyway. The fights with the lieutenants aren't really that memorable or difficult to undertake. This was particularly proven to me when I'd set a waypoint for some race or other and during my journey there I accidentally ran into the zone that triggers the fight with one of the lieutenants.

    Normally this'd be fatal in a game but I simply dispatched him in about a minute and carried on my merry way. There are only 8 of these guys in the game, you'd think they'd make them a bit more special. They all have backstories that are yawn inducing and very thin. You don't really know their motives or anything past a sentence or two of their bio. The characters are flimsy and the dialogue is dull. You get taunted about how you're going to die as you're casually tearing through their guards with little to no effort. It is unintentionally funny that the game is acting as though there is some daunting challenge in front of you when really it's just "lock on-bambambam-he's dead-lock on-bambambam...". There are, in fairness, quite a diverse array of different enemies to face but they all die so easily the distinction becomes kind of pointless. The only two that stick out are the giant mech bots who can ragdoll you and have quite a bit of health and the cheesy shield troops who you cannot damage until their shields deplete, which is time based not based off of anything you do and as a result feels like cheap, bad character design.

    The dialogue is very boring between your handlers and your character is mute (I didn't play as Terry Crews). They frequently try for humor but it boils down to "Guy with serious voice says 'wacky' things" and it doesn't really work. I found myself playing with music on for the last hour or so and I'm pretty confident I missed nothing.

    So it's short, it's easy, it's poorly written, designed poorly... but it is kind of fun. I mean I can't say that in my 8 or so hours this weekend I didn't enjoy myself, however easy it all was to do, but that alone doesn't make up for the games other shortcomings. The world is large but again, dull and poorly designed. It looks like Saints Row 3 which isn't to knock SR3 but to say it has the world design of a game 8 years old. It's just characterless, the epitome of a "sandbox" just generic copy paste buildings split into "zones".

    The driving controls are awful and driving is beyond pointless in a game where you can leap 200 feet forward and outrun cars anyway. My character had 0.50 out of 6.00 points in driving skill by games end and it made absolutely no difference.

    Really though, whilst mildly fun, this game is entirely forgettable and honestly what it does; a wacky off the world shooter where you have crazy abilities, was done vastly better in every aspect by Sunset Overdrive, which was funnier, looked much better (4 years ago) and more fun to play. This is by no means a terrible game, its a decidedly average one and I'll probably delete this and never pick it up again.

    It's an ideal gamepass sort of game really. Not bad but disposable.    … Expand

    Crackdown 3 wastes its potential in both the woefully boring campaign and the completely uninteresting, barely functional multiplayer. The open-world city is just as empty as the game itself.

    We can't recommend Crackdown 3 in good faith. It has its moments, but you need to be a fan of uncomplicated run'n'gun gameplay to enjoy them – and even then, the action takes way too long to pick up. [Issue#236, p.42]

    After such a glacial wait, it's not unreasonable to expect more. Still, in spite of its pared-back ambitions, it is such a chorus line of brainless, sugar rush thrills, you'll rarely be anything less than entertained. Let's just hope we don't have to wait until 2024 for Crackdown 4 to arrive. [Issue#225, p.65]
