    The Foundation is a great expansion that I had to wait too long to play. I really hate timed exclusive content, and especially DLC. If not for a review code I might have passed on this simply because Control was so far out of my mind at this point. I am glad that is not the case, and if you are like me forgot this existed, it is time to remember. I cannot wait for the second pack and to once again return to the Oldest House to learn more about the Bureau.

    When all is said and done though, if the base game of Control didn’t strike your fancy then The Foundation DLC on Xbox One isn’t going to add much else that you’d be interested in. But if you enjoyed Control, I definitely recommend picking up The Foundation. And for those who can’t get enough of the plot, it might be worth just going straight for the Season Pass.

    Le premier DLC de Control propose une nouvelle zone à explorer, fort différente de ce qu’on a vu jusqu’à présent dans le jeu principal : c’estLe premier DLC de Control propose une nouvelle zone à explorer, fort différente de ce qu’on a vu jusqu’à présent dans le jeu principal : c’est clairement toujours aussi dépaysant… et bizarre ! pour ne pas dire abscons, car le pourquoi du comment dans cette histoire supplémentaire laisse toujours aussi perplexe…

    Sachez qu’il faut 'simplement' réparer des machins -ou les restaurer- afin d’éviter que la réalité -ou le monde réel si l’on peut dire- devienne définitivement et intégralement altéré… bref, sauvez le Bureau… et le monde !

    Pour ce faire, il va falloir surtout attentivement explorer cette zone tortueuse et très verticale… il va falloir sauter, léviter et grimper, toujours plus haut… c’est presque un Mariol à cet égard mais un Mariol très haut de gamme. C’est techniquement à la pointe et artistiquement toujours aussi bien pensé.

    Moins de bastons que dans le jeu principal, pas de boss casse-pieds (pour rester poli), le rythme est plus posé, plus calme… mais de temps en temps plus énigmatique aussi. La fin est par contre assez bâclée et les vagues et succinctes explications qui l’accompagnent laissent le joueur sur sa faim…

    Trop de phases de plateformes cependant, ce qui finit par gaver (à force)… Le DLC n’est pas désagréable en soi pour autant, surtout depuis la màj de Control (d’août 2020) qui permet de transformer le jeu en promenade de santé (merci aux nouvelles options d’accessibilité !).    … Full Review »

If you want to get even more lost in this fascinating world that Remedy has created, then it will be hard not to pass this one up.
