    Contra: Rogue Corps is a much deeper version than it predecessors. I have seen many negative reviews about underpowered weapons and overheating too early. The Beauty of the new contra is the ability to surgically improve your characters and earn perks in your ability to S rank stages. You purchase new weapons and upgrades and upgrade those weapons accordingly. I don't feel that people areContra: Rogue Corps is a much deeper version than it predecessors. You purchase new weapons and upgrades and upgrade those weapons accordingly. I don't feel that people are truly digesting everything Konami has stuffed into this modern day version in Contra: Rogue Corps. The enemies remain the same strength in each stage but you have the ability to power up 4 characters and take the character of your choosing into battle to accomplish the best score possible, with online and offline competitive and co-op play also available, this game was a huge breath of life into the classic series. Never before has a contra game offered so much replay ability, nor selection of characters and abilities to not only upgrade your characters but weapons of choice goin into battle. I had reservations prior to playing the new contra but as a fan of the originals and someone who has 200/200 in each of the Xbox 360 XBLA versions this game is top notch. You can't go in run a couple stages and not explore all the options available to you packed into this game and score it. I feel many of the reviews were rushed too the table with our fully exploring it's offerings. We want to appreciate Konami for hanging out with us for 10 hours of our twitch early access stream, and congratulate them on this amazing addition to the franchise. This game is a must have for fans of the series and new comers as well. So head on over to the Xbox store and pick this one up ASAP for your Xbox One library.… Expand

    Gran juego hecho por Konami,es una maravilla de juego basado en la franquicia Contra. Espero jugarlo hoy o próximamente en el Gane pasa de Xbox One para probar esta maravillosa experiencia de juego hecha por un excelente estudio como Konami y no la porquería que va hacer Death Stranding por Kojima.

    This is a great game, the level of the level is at its peak, IGN is too garbage, think about the "Hand of God"

    Contra: Rogue Corps is a game a lot of people would consider Konami to make. After seemingly wanting to exit the business even with a string of classic IP, this game feels like it was made for the sake of releasing a new Contra in 2019. It has good ideas hampered with poor implementation. It is not fun to play and that is its biggest crime. I wanted to love Rogue Corps. I tried to love Rogue Corps. I simply cannot find any fun to be had with the latest in this beloved franchise.

    Contra: Rogue Corps is not a complete failure. Misguided? Yes. Awful? Absolutely not. The control issues are remedied by loading up the options and adjusting stick sensitivity. Why they didn't put them at max sensitivity from the get go? It's the same reason this has a cold opening and giving no chance to change settings until after the first stage leaves a horrible taste impression with how unresponsive it is. The only true misses are the lack of a continuous soundtrack that doesn't sound like a Metal Gear Solid rip-off. Why wasn't this at 60FPS on Xbox One X? A solid game, with some absolutely baffling design decisions.
