Concept Destruction is a simple, well-executed idea and that is fun for all ages. It’s basically Destruction Derby but at a budget level. It’s easy to pick up and play, and even with the limited game modes you will still have a good time.

It’s fun while it lasts, but apart from some interesting achievements to find and unlock, once you’ve done so the urge to play again evaporates like the morning dew in a blast furnace. It’s a fun diversion, but sadly it doesn’t last long enough.

    Smashing Fun

Lets play with cardboard cars and smash them into other cardboard cards destruction derby style!! Concept Destruction is a fun game to play. If you like to sit back and just ram into other cars then this is right up your ally.

The last car standing wins....not really, if you time runs out and you and a bunch of other cars remain, then the first place will be given to the car with most points. The cars are powered by a battery which slowly goes flat, I never encountered this but I did however encounter my car becoming smashed to the stage it didn't look like a car anymore, yet was still driving.

Other thing this game does great is the damage. If your wheels on get damaged then the ability to steer is harder. I found that the handbrake wasn't the best but I rarely used it.

The game has a championship mode where you tackle a bunch of events and the player with the most points at the very end becomes the overall champion.

If you have time when playing, stop the car or drive around slowly and taken in the background image. Its very great to see that your racing on a desk in a garage or office.

    Overall its a fun game!

You're out to design a car that can take all the punishment. These designs are printed out onto cardboard cut outs, and powered with a battery. You lose when your battery dies, or your car is totaled. You have a handful of cars to start each with their own stats, and more to unlock from playing the game. The Championship mode isn't very long, and has decent replayability. The game is straight up destruction, start to finish. The tutorial will teach you the basics, Drive, Boost, and Smash. The Championship mode is the main story. Here you try to outlast the AI in repeated derbies. Then you can take on the PC in exhibition matches or bring in a friend with split-screen play. The music is very rock and looms in the background keeping the tone of destruction in the air. The destruction physics are fun, and fit the cardboard theme perfectly. I enjoyed several hours of smashing my opponents repeatedly on the many table top arenas. Concept Destruction feels like it could do a lot more, but what it brings to the table is superb. This game is a great time burner, and you can pass off a few hours before you know it. Destruction Derby Fans should grab this little gem. Expand
