    Colt Canyon is a 2D pixel art shooter where you control a cowboy, or one of the many other unlockable characters, whose mission is to save his kidnapped partner from the ruthless bandits. Take your gun and TNT and shoot your way through a hostile canyon full of hidden treasures, weapons, obstacles and all kinds of bloodthirsty scum.

    Colt Canyon on Xbox One is a great little randomly generated roguelike. Taking inspiration from the likes of Enter The Gungeon and Hotline Miami, the gameplay is smooth, fun and brutal. As well as this, the addition of a co-op mode adds a great deal to the overall experience.

    a small but fun little game. pretty limited but still a interesting game. very satisfying and calming to play.

You start the game with a short tutorial and introduction to the story. Your camp is attacked and you're knocked out, and while you're unconscious your partner is kidnapped and taken East. Now you have to gun your way across the land in an attempt to save them. The world ahead of you is randomly generated, so every run is through a different world. The graphics are simple, and the modest color palette gives the feeling of a dusty canyon. Gameplay ranges from easy enough to sneak through to insane hordes of enemies. You have an ammo count and you have to reload your weapons, making every shot you take a strategic choice, especially when you have a screen full of enemies. The gunplay is satisfying, as the game has an aim assist feature that starts on by default. You miss it when it's gone, as missing a shot can cost you later when you have to engage in Melee too soon, or you can't take a critical shot. Always break barrels and boxes, and check crates for ammo and health. You don't have a lot of health either, so choosing stealth can be quite advantageous. Colt Canyon is a fun and satisfying shooter, and Twin-Stick fans will feel right at home.… Expand
