    Creamative has put a lot of work into Clan N on Xbox One, and it shows. Not only does the game both look and play great, there is a solid amount of content available. Not everything is a home run though. The obscure nature of what some stats do, and when you level up, can make things tedious at times. But between the seven levels, two campaigns, and mini-games that are found throughout, there is enough here to warrant the asking price.

Without an actual scripted story, you can only diverge what's going on from the splendid pixel art. From what I can tell a small village is attacked and four Ninja emerge from their ranks, after dispatching with the attackers they venture out to end whatever force sent the soldiers. Clan N wears its arcade influences on its sleeve. Lost between the Arcade Classics like Golden Axe and TMNT with obvious influence from more modern brawlers, you are faced with packs of enemies to defeat with your various abilities and attacks. Like most good brawlers, you have a light and heavy attack, then a special move that you can only use if you have a charge. Each of the four fighters you can choose from has its own unique style and special move. With local and online Co-Op play you can invite friends over, or party up and play. Like the arcade beat em' ups each player's HUD is displayed along the top of the screen so everyone can see what state their teammates are in. Clan N is a fast and fun game that's made even more fun with friends playing too! If you enjoy a good Brawler, or Hack and Slash then this title should bring you and some friends hours of enjoyment!… Expand
