Gameplay is provided to you in standard turn based strategy combat, both you and your foes take turn moving and attacking, what is nice here though each character is provided with cards offering a variety of different types (Attack, Defend, Curse, Support etc) and the effects of chosen cards are bolstered or hindered by rolling dice. Children of Zodiarcs is a nice looking game, with well laid out areas for combat and plenty of variety, it does do well to get out the rut of feeling the same. With smooth animations during combat and decent character design, some of the lesser characters can feel the same but most that matter all feel and loom unique enough. Overall: A good game, for somebody who doesn't do too well with turnbased stratagy games the mechanics of this game made it fun and enjoyable. For fans of the genre this is a solid entry to the library and for new commers a good starting point. A nice storyline to follow sells this also, some moments can be slightly cringy but overall enjoyable. Expand
