Online mode lets one or more players take on the role of animatronics, ready to crush everyone and everything. The other are the three survivors. How did this happen? You’ll have to find out! The first instinct is to dismiss this as a Five Nights at Freddy’s clone, with the freaky plushes switched out for animatronics. But CASE 2 seems to have its own rabid fanbase even enough to warrant a sequel, and the original game received rave reviews on steam and even became part of the ID@Xbox program after its original release on Xbox One. There might be more to this survival horror than meets the eye. But I swear I had some flashbacks of a new Five Nights at Freddy's. CASE 2 doesn't make much of its mobile freedom. There are a few basic puzzles to solve but mostly there is a whole lot of rifling through cabinets and looking in corners to find notes and keycards. It's a scavenger hunt game that does nothing to make the goodies you're looking for more enticing. Depending on your luck with the randomly placed key-cards and robot AI it will take somewhere in the neighborhood of an hour or two. And when it ends, it ends. As soon as you escape the police station it goes straight into a white dissolve and a logo splash screen. Not a terribly long experience but not a terrible experience either for your Xbox One especially considering the low price of admission. No epilogue, no wrap up, not even a voice over, but again this is a short game with enough in place to make it worth a couple hours of your time. Expand
