Great game! Details are improved and you can now fix more parts of the car, with new tools.

Graphically for me doesn't look as good as 2018 version due to it not having HDR implemented. Im using on series X with a 4k HDR monitor and was looking for an improvement.
Gameplay wise its pretty much the same as 2018 but with more things to do such as fuses, liquids etc.
I would say overall its a better game but for me i got a refund due to the graphics and the fact it gives me motion

I would say overall its a better game but for me i got a refund due to the graphics and the fact it gives me motion sickness. More of a second hand car than a new one is how i would sum this up.
Really needed something fresh. More tuning your own cars and a much better driving part would have made it decent. Leaderboards times etc. As it stands if you dont own 2018 and dont mind a repetitive grind then its worth a look.

If you are a car illiterate, this game will give you a fine look to how your car is assembled the most basic way. Although it says "Simulator" there is more than meets the eye in the real world. Like:
Cars and parts has often electronics in them, like Turbo´s etc.
Speaking of electronics, its very bare boned. You have a fusebox with some fuses you can change you. But no wiring. Believe

Believe me when the ease to move around a engine room looks heavenly on simulator. In the real world, tight spaces and hard-to-reach bolts and screws can be a nightmare.

BUT.. It is a good time waster. It is pretty addictive once you get going. The controls are very all over the place and finicky to start it. But you master it soon enough.
In the beginning there is a lot of grind. There is a Story mode sort of. With a car that has a story attached to it. These cars gets more and more challenging as you progress.
You level up with perks.. And you can buy cool expansions to your garage like Paint shop, Dyno shop and storage to name a few.
As you level up you gain loot boxes. These can give you barn locations that you can visit later on to dig around in for parts and a couple or three dusty cars you can buy and fix up.
You can also hoard the junk yards as well for parts to fix and wrecks to fix up.
The coolest part is later on when you start getting cash to build up cars with tuning parts (which cost more) Fast and Furious style.
A fun time waster. You can grind for a few days on this game until you get bored of it.

It’s similar to the 2018 version but there’s more to do (electrics, wheel balancing etc). The car auction section has more variety of car condition (some are good, some are in a bad state) and there’s a salvage option(that is separate to the scrap yard).
The game constantly freezes and continuously crashes meaning that I kept losing progress that had taken me quite a while to get done. The

The game constantly freezes and continuously crashes meaning that I kept losing progress that had taken me quite a while to get done. The loading times are also ridiculously long. I got a refund. If they fix the crashing and freezing problem it would be a solid 8/10, purely because it takes any enjoyment out of the game because you’re constantly worried that the game will crash and you’ll lose all your progress.

Me and my friend love it though it crashes often, freezes often but turning radio off helped with freezing. Would love to see more small parts like the fuses maybe even more interior items. Overall good game just crashing is frustrating.

This is a great game, and I love to play it. My only issue with the game is that it lacks in some assembly and disassembly procedure details that hinders the game immersion. Examples being fastener sequences for things like cylinder heads, valve covers, oil pans, etc. Another big thing is that the engines, specifically the V8's, don't seem to have the right firing order, and the DLC engineThis is a great game, and I love to play it. To others, these details are minor, and yes, I admit, they really are, but this is something I'd like to see addressed in the next title, as well as the absurd loading times. Expand
