    Ok bravo for the campaign. The rest is garbage. Multiplayer is so slow+maps are huge. No wonder people like this game, it is a camping game, developers made enough camping spots to fit everyone. This game lost the call of duty adrenaline and pace identity. Uninstalling now. Waiting for the next balck ops. Until then, you can keep your garbage. Cheers.

Но ознакомившись с сюжетом и тем идеологическим посылом, который пронизывает всю историю данной игры, с демонизацией рядовых русских военных... Нет уж. Покупать эту пропаганду нельзя.     Initally I played through the single player campaign - which is very good, both visually and through the story telling. However, the story is very Russophobic, I feel for the Russians depicted in this game. Especialy with regards to the Story Mission "Highway of Death" .     Initally I played through the single player campaign - which is very good, both visually and through the story telling. However, the story is very Russophobic, I feel for the Russians depicted in this game. Especialy with regards to the Story Mission "Highway of Death" . This is based on real life events where in the 90's American Troops bombed and slaghtered civillian and surrendering Iraqi Troops in a Genocide/War Crime. In the game everything is the same except accusing the Russians of this crime. Woeful.

    Multiplayer has potential however is absoute Trash. Netcode is no good often you will get killed when in cover and see on other persons Kill Cam that you were not in cover like you thought you were. The unfortunatte design of both maps and TTK(Time To Kill) ensures people will need to camp in order to get kills. Spawns are terrbile nothing tactical about the game, no matter how many corners and windows you check you still get shot in the back.

    Spec Ops is a complete lie, lackluster maps. Unlimited spawning enemies and is almost impossible to beat. Don't believe me check the Modern Warfare Subreddit.

    Sad I wasted $70 AU on this game I don't reccomend it to anyone in its current state. Terrible. I made a meta critic account just to post this review.    … Expand

    Im Swedish, not Russian. Even if this games graphics, emersion, sound and feel is indeed top notch. With good fps elements. The politics in it completely destroys the setting. They taken everything bad americans are infamous for in the middle east, and replaced themselfs with russia. The incident with the highway of death in Iraq in this game is perpertrated by Russia.     worst piece of propaganda this world has ever witnessed. Games are supposed to be games, but not a one-way political manifest. There are evil forces like Nazis, Alqaeda, ISIS. Yes, you can make a game where you destroy evil, but making a whole country which political activity is not in line with some other country's political activities

    Nice job Activision! Making the Reds responsible for the Highway of Death American war crime was a genius move! Next time do not forget to feature this island where the Russkies put all their prisoners of war without trial and torture them for years in complete impunity, you know the Guantanamov island! Best game ever, endorsed by the Nato and the US war-mongers.

    Call of Duty: Modern Warfare serves up the freshest take on a stale formula in years, with a new engine and revitalised multiplayer mode that takes full advantage of a finely-tuned weapon customisation system and some welcome changes to ballistic mechanics. While Spec Ops fails to deliver much long-term attraction, the story mode proves there’s plenty of justification for a narrative element in a modern shooter. Free maps and updates bring everyone onto the same page in multiplayer, but Infinity Ward's take on the battle pass template still needs some work.

    If you don’t mind being killed by the odd nuke – how anyone can score 30 consecutive kills is beyond our tiny minds – PvP could swallow your damn life. Pair it with a gutsy (if insensitive) campaign, and this tonally conflicted series continues to stay relevant thanks to the best guns in the biz. [Issue#184, p.68]
