    Maps that supports campers, microtransactions, bad Maps. The only thing that is good in this game, is the control.

    Decent enough COD game, campaign is short and fairly enjoyable, characters are okay and some missions have variety. Multiplayer is simaler to it was years ago, fun enough with friends for a few games, cant complain about the game itself at all. Fairly solid COD game. However game is really glitchy and runs very poorly and you are forced to download warzone to play it for some reason, gameDecent enough COD game, campaign is short and fairly enjoyable, characters are okay and some missions have variety. Multiplayer is simaler to it was years ago, fun enough with friends for a few games, cant complain about the game itself at all. Fairly solid COD game.     I understand that this game has a lot of content which I will give it praise for but most of the maps are too big with too many camping spots and is it just me or does the new engine feel inferior and too weird compared to the older one?

    First of all, It’s funny watching all the butt hurt russians pissed that their **** hole country that is actually quite evil and whose recent history is a bit dodgy (soviet union anyone) is the bad guy in this game. Yes we know who you are by your terrible English. Campaign is great, multiplayer is one of the worst yet.

Nearly all players are camping because the maps reward this behaviour. They are mostly slow and boring matches. The absolute worst is the Map Schippement, it was really funny in WWII, in this one it happens quite often that you spawn in frontThe Campaign was ok (Unless you are a Russian citizen), but the multiplayer is just bad.     on ok game but the mere fact it takes so much storage and has so many huge (100gb) updates makes it unattractive to buy or play.

    Lack of content and terrible multiplayermaps, lootboxes that will come after the reviews are in, makes this a no go. Singleplayer is not too bad though.

    The gameplay and graphics in the campaign are absolutely amazing! That's something I realy enjoyed while I played this game...
    But sadly, that's the only positive thing in this game.
    I don't want to write about the singleplayer, because there is already enough here. I will only rate the multiplayer! Multiplayer is like..i can't find any words for it. It is so bad!     Multiplayer is like..i can't find any words for it. It is so bad!
    Ground War is not playable - sniper/camper everywhere!
    TDM - time runs out before one team even hit 50 kills, because everyone is sitting around drinking tea!
    Domination..there are two kinds of people in this mode: The people who understand what to do and the people who wonder why the flag is changing it's colors. Ah, and of course the one's with broken keyboards!
    There are so many camper in this game..just terrible for people who like to rush und play a little faster.
    Also the players in the loosing team quit their games very often. So it's not unusual that you're playing 2 vs 6. Very frustating!
    I was so hyped for this game, but the fact that 80% of the players are just sitting around with a Sniper or an SMG is just annoying.
    One thing i didn't mention is spawn camping - also extrem annoying since the update, because the spawns are changing extrem slowly now.

    New year, Same CoD. Seems like they could of done a better job copying Battlefield. Customer Support is a joke as usual. Kinda upset I fell for it again. Activision ruined the Call of Duty franchise at this point.

    Single player good graphics, forgettable story. Multiplayer camp fest, zero online achievements, not even for lvl 55 like other cod games, no incentive to play online with zero achievements to earn. The death sound when dying from a headshot or knife is terribly loud. It sounds like a cannon going off in real life. It’s so loud it makes me want to just not play.

    I would have given a much higher rating if they hadn't killed every good thing about multiplayer in the latest updates. They have ruined stealth completely, somehow made spawning and camping ten times worse. Guns that didn't need to be nerfed have been nerfed

    I paid $99 for them steelbok special edition. Played it starting with early access. Enjoyed the single player campaign, and multiplayer was pretty good. Got to level 144 before season one made me start back at 55. What do you get for playing the hell out of the game? Go back to being enlisted level 55 and nobody would know that I almost leveled out at 155 except for a few minorI paid $99 for them steelbok special edition. Played it starting with early access. Holding “anchor” for spawns in a competitive match is useless now. The game just spawns players anywhere on the map. The maps are made to encourage corner campers, it is impossible to check everywhere. The game has a real problem with peaker’s advantage, and angles. When one player may be completely hidden behind a wall on their screen, half of their body will be sticking out on anothers screen. You will often die from an enemy jumping around a corner before you can even see their character. The movement feels very smooth, but the game never works the way it’s supposed to. They don’t focus on fixing any problems. Especially for xbox users, you will often feel like activision is giving xbox the middle finger. Xbox has the most issues. All in all, I wish I never wasted my time on this game. If the next COD isn’t good, i wouldn’t buy any more in the future.… Expand

The game certainly doesn't captivate the arcadey fun feeling of say MW2, and it actually reminds me more of something like Rainbow Six Siege, combined with Insurgency and a little bit of Battlefield. Which is far away from the expectations I had when purchasing a CoD game. At the end of the day, if you think you'd like such a combination of FPS's, then, by all means, buy this game and you'll probably have a blast. However, if you're actually looking for a CoD game then I suggest that you wait until the next one is released.    … Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. A lot of people are saying this is anti-Russian propaganda? Ignore that noise, this is an actual review. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is not a great game or a good game, it's an ok game with a lot of problematic issues that no AAA game in 2019 should have. I'll start by talking about the general gameplay "improvements." At first Modern Warfare's new lighting, animations, and sound effects give the indication that you are playing a new and revamped Call of Duty game, this is reinforced by the ability to use night vision, clammer, and peek through doors. However underneath these mostly useless mechanics and the deceiving facelifts it's still the same shooter as Black Ops 4 and Modern Warfare (2007) Remastered.

    In multiplayer this years entry still has all the same problems aim stutter, server input delays, spawn killing, run and gun spam, it's a gameplay loop that frankly has grown tired and it really is telling of Call of Duty's age. In multiplayer specifically, the larger maps don't remedy any of these issues in fact they create new ones like camping and increased likeliness afk teammates. The smaller maps are all uninspired and frankly it's weird we didn't get the greatest hits of all the old Modern Warfare maps.

    Now I'm going to talk about the campaign, it's just not very good. There's one mission in the middle of the game that slightly surprised me but the novelty of taking a break from shooting in one mission and guiding a civilian to a safe place wore off on me very quickly. Most of the other missions try to shock and grab the interest of the player by having you witness something shocking through the eyes of characters ranging from bystandards to terrorists, it's not shocking or very interesting. We've seen this pov of terrorists and their victims in video games and movies before and I fail to see how this does it in a new or provocative way. In other missions, the game will try to "surprise" you by taking a cue from the page of American Sniper, you'll occasionally have to shoot enemy combatants who happen to be children or women. I know some people have said that this is in poor taste or promotes violence against women, and I definitely disagree with that, but frankly, it doesn't add to or make the experience better. It's a frustrating moment that slows night sections of the game to a snail's pace, has very little with the overarching story, and frankly yeah hurting children will just make some people uncomfortable regardless of political affiliation. Real soldiers in my family have experienced this and I know that it's something they never wanted to see in the service. I assume some group of edgelords will find joy in these moments, they are the scum of the Earth, that is what I have to say on that subject.

    Finally, I want to examine the story's use of Russian and Muslim fighters in the game. A lot of people are saying this game is Democratic propaganda because it portrays Russians as "evil" and supposedly sets back stereotypes of Russians many years while at the same time portraying Muslims in too positive of a light and rewriting history. This is blatantly false. The Call of Duty games have always sided with the US in their FICTIONAL portrayals of conflicts with Russia, it seems people have forgotten this in recent years because the threats of the last three Call of Duty games were futuristic ethnically diverse private armies. With Russia becoming a more prominent threat to the security of the US and the United Nations IRL in the past few years it makes sense that Russia was chosen as the villain in this Call of Duty game. Does it have the twists and turns of the original trilogy? No. Is it as well done? No. It's doing its own thing for better or for worse. I don't know why pro-Russia groups in the US and Russia suddenly think this game should appeal to them, it never has and never will, Call of Duty has and always will have a pro-US narrative. Regardless of how I feel about people trying to insert their weird pro-Russia politics into the discussion surrounding this game, I think this is just a passable uninspired Call od Duty campaign that relies on shock value and Captain Price nostalgia. It's no good.

    The gameplay here is as solid (and outdated) as it was 10 years ago, and the rest is a mediocre cookie-cutter shooter that's only claim-to-fame is being in a series that is way past due for retirement; and strangely this year, in particular, having a very vocal pro-Russian national group try and hijack the dialogue to manipulate modern-American conservatives. I find this ironic because my conservative friends have been hyping this game for it's unapologetic and gruesome nature. It goes to show that when you try to shove your political identity into art like this you just create a confusing mess of controversy that was frankly never necessary, and only serves to generate more interest and profits for Activision Blizzard.    … Expand

    The multiplayer maps are all god awful camp fests. Too many angles and dark corners you will never know where you got shot from until you are already dead. The single player has been (((diversified))) featuring black and brown SAS troops as well as a black female general. Spec ops is fun but very hard with randoms. Its the only good thing about this game.

    This is a AAA game that acts like an early access steam indie game....

    The multiplayer sucks. You can’t do anything if you’re spawn trapped. When you die you spawn all the way in the back of the map which isn’t helpful because these are the worst maps I have ever played on in my life. And that’s including all games.

    The game gets one point for the campaign. The acting is mostly good, especially Price. It pushes nostalgia buttons. It makes me yearn for the first time that the name ‘Makarov’ is mentioned, likely coming in the next game. However, the campaign represents 1% of gameplay by time for most buyers.
    The second point is because it is technically sound (at least on PC, I know XBONE players have had trouble). Regardless, the game looks great, sounds great, and the gun handling is as good as ever. The motion cap is excellent (because they used people who actually know how to handle firearms) as is the attention to detail in Gunsmith (though I wish that they licensed items that are depicted like Magpul, Aimpoint, EOTech, Accuracy Int’l, Sig, Glock, etc.)

    Spec Ops is a joke. It’s an afterthought that is comprised solely of recycled assets from a BR mode that is either on hold or cancelled after Activision realized that BR is dying and that this game can’t be just another BR COD.

    The multiplayer, which is the meat of why most buy COD, is simply the worst I have played since COD Ghosts. IW stated that they wanted to allow “less skilled” players to be able to better compete. In effect, what they did is create a game where anyone who tries to move around even cautiously is punished severely.
    - M-4/725 meta: This is likely just a launch problem, but these guns are basically the only viable weapons at the moment. With such a short TTK, you simply cannot compete with people who are using these guns if you are using something even slightly inferior. The idea of going into a game with an inferior loadout to just “have fun” or “try stuff out” is not an option except for the best players in the game.
    - Footsteps are the loudest I have ever heard in a game. In a way, they are a technical marvel, because I feel like I can see through walls with my ears. It’s uncanny at times. But this means that even crouch walking around results in you being soundwhored by people who are camped and hardscoping the door you’re about to come through. Because of this, Ghost is a required perk in slot 2, because you simply cannot afford to show up on UAV while you’re camping.
    - Netcode often results in single-frame deaths or the perception that you were killed by someone you couldn’t see yet.
    - The spawns are astoundingly resistant to flipping, even in Domination when a team holds a triple cap. This means that Domination usually results in a spawn trap within the first 50 points of a game, with no opportunity for comebacks by most teams. Maps such as Piccadilly and Euphrates are especially susceptible to this.
    All of these issues can and likely will be fixed or at least adjusted in future patches. There are two problems that I believe are fundamentally wrong with the game that will not ever be fixed:
    - The maps are designed for Window Warfare. The massive array of angles and verticality again means that anyone who tries to run and gun will always be cut down by those who are camping windows even after the footstep volume and camping issues are solved. The existing maps will NEVER be changed, and the first one or two drops of DLC maps are probably already beyond the point of no return in development at this point. Domination is especially hurt by this design. I have never played a COD game where B will often stay uncapped for the first 3+ minutes of a game. It’s because players post up and hardscope the flag, waiting to rip the face off the first poor bastard to even think of wandering near it.
    - The largely unacknowledged Skill Based Matchmaking means that you have to sweat hard to play the game. You cannot play casually. Because of this, you must use the meta guns all the time because you cannot afford to give up any advantage to the players you are matched against. Always competing exactly at your skill level sounds good on paper, but it makes the game extremely fatiguing to play since you can never just sit back and relax. In a number of other shooting games, my friends and I will easily play for 5-6+ hours at a time, but we find this game so fatiguing and unfun to play that we rarely play for more than an hour or so before we want to take a break or lose interest altogether. Even when we win, we still feel that the game simply isn’t fun to play most of the time.
    I’ll follow the development for a few months to see how aggressively IW will correct these problems. It seems highly likely that old fan favorite maps from previous MW games are coming as DLC, and they will further scratch the nostalgia itch. But I will 100% not play this game in 2020 if the meta isn’t adjusted to make all play styles viable.    … Expand

    Campaign is amazing, one of the best I have played for a cod game.

    Multiplayer is a mess and the Devs should be **** ashamed to release this like of crap. Want something that looks cool, gotta pay more money. Camera angles are broken as hell. Hit detection does not work you shoot first shore more hits and die anyway. Spec ops is just lazy and again a broken **** mess.

When Infinite Warfare came out in 2016, I was happy that I did not buy it, as it was another passing project. And now three years later, this game comes out which is so praised paid-criticism.     It's a COD 4 prequel with a classic crazy BS campaign: there's Kastovia (Donetsk Republic), Urzikstan (generalized Mideastern state retconned to be unnamed country of COD 4), Georgia, Russia and they’re all connected. A baddie Russian general Barkov that has lead a 20 year long Russian occupation of Urzikstan makes his own chemical weapon gas (!) in Georgia (!) and smuggles it to Kastovia, then to Urzikstan to use on civvies. CIA/MARSOC operators raid a Kastovian facility to confirm it but gas gets stolen presumably by baddie Urzikstan terror org Al-Qatala (COD way of spelling Al-Qaeda) but actually turns out to be a baddie splinter group of Urzikstan Liberation Force goodie rebels. Let’s fast forward to Urzikstan where a CIA operative wearing a plate carrier vest disguises himself with a black headscarf (!), openly walks around baddie Russian soldiers who search for rebels (!) and gets away with it (!).
    Enough with synopsis, you get how moronic the plot is from realism POV – same as old CODs, hence B-movie reality, not really your Zero Dark Thirty. It has always been this way to drop the jaw of generic Billy from Oregon and present a clear political message: wars are gritty but necessary and cool, there are baddies and goodies (sometimes goodies are not so goody but then baddies are even worse), NATO troops are generally world’s top goodies and they are almighty because they can pull off almost public black ops like a cakewalk in say Russia (MW shows firefight in Saint Petersburg’s major street because that’s how CIA/SAS operate), BTW you should enlist ASAP if you can.
    There are indeed some hints of "grey morality": that baddie splinter group of ULF goodies that stole the gas to use against its enemies – the baddie Russians/Al-Qatala. Or when NATO operatives do some minor morally questionable things like torturing an enemy for intel, pointing guns at his family to untie his tongue & etc. This kind of "grey morality" isn’t anything new to the series, I remember intel torture back in MW2 as well as other examples. Who is mostly exempt from "grey morality" are the Russians: they exploit, torture, burn, gas, hang and murder Urzikstani civvies for 20 years and we get aplenty exposition to witness it. "Mostly" because there are a few minor characters that are Russian but are goodies, the remaining vast majority are your literal SS Nazis. Plus it's implied several times that the baddie general Barkov is an acting member of the Russian military, though they "disown" him after his death, it’s clear they never did anything to stop him and this "disowning" business (to proclaim him a rogue general?) is obviously a PR damage control move from Moscow. Newsflash: Moscow is a baddie baddie, as most members of the "Nazi" Russian military.
    You don’t even get a trope about some soldiers not sharing the sketchy ideology of their command and showing signs of humanity – like "Nazi" pilot Franz Stigler who spared a wounded B-17 and escorted it to safety, or Cpt. Silas Soule and Lt. Joseph Cramer from First Colorado Cavalry who told their units to hold fire when ordered to shoot Indians during Indian Wars. That would have been *REAL* grey morality, as well as showing that NATO goodies do occasionally commit major cruel atrocities or use a falsely engineered casus belli to start a war. It’s kind of twisted to pretend that things like Haditha massacre or Abu-Ghraib torture didn’t happen by the hands of US in a country invaded after 9/11 without UNSC bill based on a fake chemical weapons sample tube "obtained there". Chemical weapons that were never found, but that ill-founded invasion with all its atrocities helped to spawn ISIS and consolidate many Muslims against everything "western". That generic Billy from Oregon may not know/remember/care for these facts, but I and many others genuinely upset by MW’s deceitful artistic representation of reality do – and the fact that IW markets it as something opposite contributes to the offense.
    If you have played MW, you know my attribution of "goodie" and "baddie" to MW factions is spot on – but in case with *REAL* grey morality that can’t happen per definition. The Expanse is a perfect example of proper grey morality: try to distinguish goodie and baddie factions there. Or Spec Ops: The Line which handles the premise of moral ambiguity like a boss: a feat that means even more if you compare its budget to MW's.
    And fake gun names, seriously? Bobby Kotick didn't spare few $K to license proper names as in the original trilogy? You get a lot of strong womyn though: CIA chief, army general, rebel leader.     I'm a huge Infinity Ward fan boy, but this game is pretty bad. The maps are way too big. People are camping in buildings, and windows. There is no flow whatsoever. I'm shocked that Infinity Ward put out such a bad game man. I don't know if they're even going to be able to do anything to fix it. There's a reason this game only got 3.4 user score.

I can’t really name anything you guys have done to really **** on Americans. TL;DR **** politics in games, everyone deserves a fun environment to play games in. If you don’t meet that expectation, should it be even called a game?

    Multiplayer:
    If you wanted a camping simulator with the worst maps available and some of the worst TTK I’ve seen since Ghosts, THIS IS FOR YOU.
    You get punished if you rush, but you are rewarded for camping? Your mini-map is also very small and irrelevant! You don’t even see red dots when people fire anymore! Your own guy always says “CONTACT!” when someone is seen and it’s global so they also can hear it. Footsteps are loud and claymores are the most used lethal in the game. My suggested fixes:
    • Nerf M4A1
    • Fix Ghost
    • Make Dead Silence a PERK
    • Up the movement speed
    • Create an awareness like perk so you can lower sounds for footsteps
    • Have red dots show up on map so you can ac to actually have incentive to use the Suppressor!
    • Reduce map sizes depending on the mode
    • Enlargen the mini-map
    • Fix Spawns
    • Add more modes like Hardpoint so you don’t have to camp to win!
    • Let you stay in lobbies after a match
    • Larger party size for modes like ground war or 10v10
    • Fix the Xbox crashing issue.
    • Lobby Map Voting
    • Make some scorestreaks default.
    • End Skill Based Matchmaking
    • Add Deaths and Captures to the Leaderboard on TDM and Domination.

    See the problem? Or should I say problems? Really emphasize how plural that is.

    The only things I like about multiplayer is:
    • Ground War
    • Gunfight 2v2
    • Operators
    • How fluid the weapons are

    This game has a major problem and it needs a fix now.

    If it doesn’t get fixed soon, IW already knows protest may ensue, and we’ll have another Destiny 2 situation on our hands with refunds galore.

    Final Verdict: I’d rather play BF4 for a few more years because it’s still more refined than this game. Scratch that, go play that one, it’s more fun and you’ll have countless hours on there with the lads. Plus you get incentive to grind and you have a lot of content to go through.    … Expand

    Good Campaign but both multiplayer and spec ops are half done. Also a shame is that Survival mode (which is not onlty 1% of the game ) is exclusive to PS4 owners. i hate this desicion.

    Disappointed with this game, and studio. Due to the fact that Activision and Infinity Ward were too cheap to put the game on two discs, this game took roughly 8 hours to install. I finally get it installed, and the game feels like a poorly executed Battlefield 5 knock off. This will be the last COD game I ever buy.

Back to **** jumping around corners, sneaking around with shotguns in corners with absolutely no way of stopping it. And of course entire servers using the poorly balanced M4A1. Played to lvl 100 multiplayer,They had the opportunity to make this game different, and improve it. It started with slow gameplay where you had to think about what you are doing.     The absolute worst multiply in the entire history of the franchise. The maps and spawn system are so terrible they detract from any positive aspects that might be considered to give it a better rating. IW has proven in their last three games they can no longer make a decent multiplayer shooter. Going forward, I'm skipping their games.

    It has a ridiculous story, uninspired campaign, dumb AI, extremely boring missions with lack of scale and without any "wow moments" series is known for. Graphically it looks terrible even on PC with maxed out settings — the final product is nothing like it's trailers. Location's design is also unmemorable. Developers are trying to hide the game's ugliness in the dark (80% of the game is taking place at night or in dark buildings), but it isn't working. Also, there isn't any music playing on most levels. What the hell Activision?

    And, yeah, Infinity Ward also lied about "grey morale": all Russian soldiers are evil in the sake of being evil. They are killing civilians, women and children without any reasons or logic behind their actions. If you are trying to make an interesting enemy — at least give them SOME motivation or ideology. Even Nazis in the COD: WW2 wasn't such monsters as Russians in new COD: MW. The Americans and British soldiers, in contrast, are heroes that even in the "torture" episode aren't actually torturing anyone. You can't even shot the terrorist's wife in the leg to make him talk — the game won't allow you to. Because Americans never tortured any terrorists in Guantanamo or Iraqi prisons, of course. Or 'cause USA and UK are the most important markets for COD games. It isn't the game about the dark side of war as they promised. It isn't a fun shooting gallery as previous COD games. It's the stupidest, tasteless propaganda I've seen in my entire life. Activision is trying to be provoking, but they don't have balls to do it properly. For example, we all understand that this fictional Urzikstan country is meant to represent Syria, but devs are afraid to say it out loud.

    If you don't give a ..ck about the singleplayer campaign — I have bad news for you, 'cause multiplayer sucks too. It's trying to be the COD, Battlefield and Counter-Strike at the same time... and it fails to be anything. It's too laggy, unpolished and unplayable.

    Modern Warfare (2019) is the worst part of Call of Duty. Actually, it's the worst shooter I've played in years. And it's one more disappointment in a neverending chain of disappointments from modern Activision-Blizzard. I'm just too sick of their s..tty games, microtransactions and politics, so, I've deleted my Battle.net account.    … Expand

    Terrible game on Xbox Series X and PS5.

    Audio stutter, problems with data files not being installed after an update, and even if you have all the data files installed according to the game, it still claims some are missing. Crashes galore, your level being reset for no good reason. Lots of error codes when joining games, crashes when editing loadouts.     Also, the terrible decision to share things with the other recent COD files like Vanguard, Black Ops and Warzone, means that good luck figuring out which guns in your collection can be used in which game. Literally the same game will lists guns as usable in one place and not let you use them in another.

    Since there doesn't seem to be an incentive to fix these bugs seeing as some of them has been in the game from day one, it was essentially released as abandonware from day one.

    A campanha é ótima mas não é o que define um fps. O multiplayer é disparada a pior experiencia que ja tive em um call of duty que jogo horrível os mapas ridiculos favorecendo absurdamente os campers visibilidade terrivel e esse time to kill horroroso uma legitima festa pra quem fica camperando.

When trying to use Modern Warfare, it says "Data Packs Missing" even after I confirmed on my Xbox that they are downloaded and installed. When I try to open the download manager in the launcher itself, it crashes back to the main menu. When I try to see downloaded packs in theGame non-functional.     I want to start off say everyone states the same thing on every COD it's this or that that makes the game bad. I however find the real reason COD multiplayer is so bad is because of all the gimmick accessories and hacks that can be bought online to give an unfair advantage to ppl. Ever since COD has allowed scuff controllers to be used, the game has been nothing but a pain for most ppl. If scuffs are allowed and aim hacks allowed then we need them released with every xbox ppl buy so no one has the upper hand or don't allow these accessories for ppl to have a slight edge. COD was great when we frowned on players that use cheap tactics to win and modded controllers but now everyone defends these things and says just adpt and get good. No one likes playing against ppl with all the BS accessories you can use. To put it this way if this game was football how many ppl would hate football and stop watching if some quarterbacks could use glue and spikes on their shoes? No one would watch and everyone would be pissed but since it is a game ppl say its no big deal and still the same ppl that say its no big deal are the ones that are using cheap tactics and sweating their *** off saying its a sport. Well which is it? If it's sport don't allow dropshots and halo jump spamming and scuffs in the game and set rules and guidelines that must be followed or frowned upon like any other sport. If it's not a sport then stop being a tryhard to make every kill as cheap and unfair as you can. It's this logic that has ruined the game that no one talks about. COD was good because most ppl played for fun and was sportsmans about the game and frowned on being dirty(like camping and laying down in BO1 was very frowned upon and even bannable). I'm not arguing with some kid that wants to number crunch and weasel his stance for scuffs and halo jumping and drop shotting to win. If it is not cheap then why is it so controversial and not everyone can agree upon whats right or wrong? A simple fix is too just ban these ppl and implement rules that can be followed by everyone and not just an up in the air debate. COD needs rules of what you can and can't use and do. (simple) This would make it clear of what's right and wrong and gives everyone a fair game. I'm just saying if ppl are getting so ridiculous that not one match can be fun because everyone is being cheap and tryharding every match and want to treat the game like a sport then we need rules and better guidelines to follow or ppl need to have fun and stop tryharding.     Call of Duty: Modern Warfare serves up the freshest take on a stale formula in years, with a new engine and revitalised multiplayer mode that takes full advantage of a finely-tuned weapon customisation system and some welcome changes to ballistic mechanics. While Spec Ops fails to deliver much long-term attraction, the story mode proves there’s plenty of justification for a narrative element in a modern shooter. Free maps and updates bring everyone onto the same page in multiplayer, but Infinity Ward's take on the battle pass template still needs some work.

    If you don’t mind being killed by the odd nuke – how anyone can score 30 consecutive kills is beyond our tiny minds – PvP could swallow your damn life. Pair it with a gutsy (if insensitive) campaign, and this tonally conflicted series continues to stay relevant thanks to the best guns in the biz. [Issue#184, p.68]
