    I like this game. The maps are hard to memorize because there are so many angles and spots to camp. After all, they said It was a more "Realistic" game. I understand that real-world war crimes are not okay to put into a game. But after all, it makes the game way more intense than the other call of duty campaigns and it really feels like you are living the life of the soldier you'reI like this game.     Great game, best COD since MW3! No idea why the rating is so low from users. Campaign is very good, could be a little longer. Multiplayer is fun, wish the maps were a little better, and there was more maps. All in all this game is very good, 9/10

    Call of Duty is back to the good old days. Campaign, multiplayer and spec ops. The campaign is good and love the tactical moments within it.

    Pros: Visuals/Graphics (on XB1X) Framerate @ 60fps Campaign Multiplayer No loot boxes Cons: No prestige mode Needs more weapons to choose from in multiplayer Also those that are giving it 0 due to it being negative towards Russia need    Call of Duty is back to the good old days.     The game is the best CoD in YEARS. Story is fantastic, multiplayer is the best it's been in a long time.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I’ve only managed to get about 4 missions into the campaign so this review is based on what I’ve played so far. This game is not your typical call of duty game. Both in gameplay and in story. This game probably has the most controversial story ever. And it shows when you see the opening cutscene when the suicide bomber comes out of the van. Then comes a story about trying to get white phosphorus out of the hands of terrorists. From what I’ve played so far the game plays smoothly, though I couldn’t play multiplayer. The only problems I noticed was that I couldn’t start the campaign when I first loaded the game because it said I needed campaign pack 2 despite having it installed. My Xbox also crashed the first time playing campaign. Then, a few times while playing I got signed out of my Xbox halfway through missions.… Expand

    I’m having a great time with this especially having come off Ghost Recon Breakpoint. The slower more tactical style suits me compared to other COD titles. Runs well and no serious bugs so far. Can’t believe I’m saying this but good work Activision.

    Best CoD in years! People giving it low scores are just haters and have nothing better to do than spam metacritic with bad scores. Fun gunplay, audio is superb, time to kill is spot on and graphics are amazing. Campaign is dark and gritty like it should be, multiplayer is the best in years and Spec ops is fun and more added value for you dollar. I highly recommend the game.

    Very good campaign and very well put together story wise. Love the multiplayer just hope they add more guns in the future. Ignore all these junk reviews. It’s been stated that this game is set in a fictional universe. They can pull names and places from real life and use them to make a story. Does not have to match up with our history. All in all a very well done game. Big step up from BO4

The Highway of Death was done by the Americans, France, Canada and the UK the details were changed to conform to the story i'm sure the devs know what forces did it.     A very high attention to detail that I have never seen in previous Call of Duty installments. The campaign is a breath of fresh air from all the futuristic storylines, and multiplayer stays fun and competitive with cross play!

Everyone wanted more realism and they delivered. To everyone complaining about the campaign stop being pc. It’s a game you know what your gonna get before you play.     I loved the campaign and I like how the story continues in spec ops while I do miss the old style of spec ops missions what they did is more challenging and a welcome change. While the multiplayer can be annoying it is still enjoyable I feel like most people blame the game for the actions of the players.

    multiplayer para o Brasil lançou com muito lag injogavel, depois arrumaram, o estilo mudou muito de gameplay, se você quiser sair correndo por ai cuidado com campers    em minha opnião o melhor cod desde o modern warfare 2, não gostei do black ops 2.

    The Reboot of Modern Warfare changed that.
    The gameplay in my opinion is perfect.
    Fun and fast modes, a very good gun feeling and a very fair leveling system to unlock new weapons, perks and so on.

    I don´t want to go on about maps and guns in specific for to long, because everyone likes other aspects about them.
    But let me tell you, there are good and bad designed maps and guns.
    You can learn about the maps, the little shortcuts and good good spots in them but the weapons are getting better (in my opinion) with your unlocks.
    That means, if you are level two and get in a lobby with high rank enemys, their weapons are simply better by damage, accuracy and so on.
    That would be my only flaw, you need some patience or very good map knowledge to get a good gamescore in the early levels.

    But as soon as you have some weapons and perks, there are no negative points about the gameplay.
    Of course you can´t play an Assault Rifle on a small map and expect to be the best player when the others are playing with Machine Guns. I hope you get my point.

    Overall it is the best Call of Duty in a long time, with very good gun feeling, a good balance with the maps but a frustrating start until you unlocked better weapons and perks.    … Expand

Sometimes I spawn right in front of an enemy and get immediately killed even if it’s not on a map such as shipment. COD was really losing me until they made this recent one.     This game's campaign is amazing, one of the best CoD campaigns ever. history is moving and has very good character development, especially Farah, also captain Price is back, and it's better than ever. Now I'm really looking forward for the sequel this year.

    Awsome campaign! I'm not into online gaming, so I only buy these games for the single-player experience. Loved it! But there are a LOT of problems with the package:

    * The game is not available on Steam, and that is the only platform I use for PC gaming. * On the Xbox Store, you can buy the game, but they force Warzone on the install (140GB) * You buy COD MW, but the installed game    Awsome campaign! I'm not into online gaming, so I only buy these games for the single-player experience. Loved it! But there are a LOT of problems with the package:

    * The game is not available on Steam, and that is the only platform I use for PC gaming.
    * On the Xbox Store, you can buy the game, but they force Warzone on the install (140GB)
    * You buy COD MW, but the installed game icon says COD WARZONE
    * The installation is broken as many already know, when the install is complete the game has everything it needs for you to launch WARZONE but if you just want to play the game you bought, the COD MW single-player campaign, some data packages are missing that you need to manually download and install separately before you can launch the campaign. All of this from watching YouTube videos, as the game never tells you what is going on.
    * The game performs well on Xbox series X with some occasional stutter.

    Despite all of these problems that are more product or commercial distribution-related, the game is a blast. Loved the single-player experience, the gameplay mechanics, graphics, etc. This Modern Warfare Reboot gave me tons of fun and immersive modern military shooter experiences.    … Expand

It's a great way to restart the best franchise ever made in history, the call of duty modern warfare story. It would get a 10 out of 10 if it wasn't for skill base matchmaking

    Despite the hefty install size and awful way of downloading it, this reboot is a good one. The campaign is nothing like the original. It's more of a survival action game with an involving story. Think "Spec Ops: The Line" with plenty of cutscenes. Graphically, the game is very impressive. The co-op missions and multiplayer modes are great fun. Overall, I would rate this with an 8 out of 10.

It's fantastic to see the franchise coming back strong with a great solid storyline for the campaign full of action and some great co-op missions that gives the public a modern up to date combat system not to futuristic that we can relate to and enjoy .The game mecanics are smooth and the shooting sounds are amazing very realistic once again .The mainCall Of Duty: Modern Warfare... It's fantastic to see the franchise coming back strong with a great solid storyline for the campaign full of action and some great co-op missions that gives the public a modern up to date combat system not to futuristic that we can relate to and enjoy .The game mecanics are smooth and the shooting sounds are amazing very realistic once again .The main interest is the mutliplayer that perfoms well with great graphics and new fun options to upgrade and customize your weapons and special daily online missions to unlock awesome camo sets etc. The downfall will have to be the lack of diversity in the maps that are lacking if u ask me lets hope they release smaller maps fast with more potential and finally the claymores and shotguns that take so much fun out of the game because of the way they are used in multiplayer and sadly the people that camp using them. My note will be a solid come back for the cod franchise and very promising for the future content for Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare on the Xbox One.… Expand

    Haven't played any of the single player yet. The multiplayer is amazing and feels really good. The new graphics look amazing. Guns can really feel different depending on what you put on them. The maps go back to feeling like MW2 maps, with lots of different levels and spots for snipers to snipe from. Has to be my favorite Call of Duty in 10 years.

    Best CoD in years. It's about time they used a new engine. First time in 14 years I believe. I love the game but never quite been a fan of infinity wards map designs. This game has some of their worst ever. It's a shame how they can get so much right and drop the ball at map design. It's definitely the buggiest cod ever to release too. Cod is usually on point with game stability.

Starting with the campaign, the gameplay feels much more grounded in reality and feels much more like an actual person moving (Most of the time). I won't spoil anything, but it is good and draws some stuff out while also being very tense and engaging. Starting with the campaign, the gameplay feels much more grounded in reality and feels much more like an actual person moving (Most of the time). I won't spoil anything, but it is good and draws some stuff out while also being very tense and engaging. The Multiplayer is also pretty great, camping is annoying but not cause for a drop in the review. You shouldn't hate on a game for the choices of the players. In multiplayer I currently run an M4 with A MK18 style setup and a flip up/ down hybrid. It works great for me, no so great for others, and I like that. The depth of customization is insane. Me and a buddy sounded like we were talking about actual firearms when we were just talking about our loadouts in the game. When you hit the ground at first, it's hard and you may get beat down (I did) but you just have to keep playing and get better, contrary to what many will say. Once you get create a class it gets better. As far as gameplay goes, it is still very much call of duty, but it is a lot more grounded in reality and is much more "tactical" for lack of a better term. You wanna clear a building, better throw in a flash or concussion (flashbangs are pretty busted right now, and the spam is insane) and clear the corners. You wanna cross a road that is currently lit up? Throw a smoke or run your balls off. You have to be smart a lot of the times, and that seems to be what 1. Differentiates good and bad players and 2. Differentiates good and bad reviews of this game. Sorry that this isn't your CoD mobile but on console/ PC. The weapons feel as real as a game can make them feel, the gameplay feels very nice and is a good mix between classic call of duty, and the new faster paced games (with a hint of battlefield in there). The campaign of this game lays it out, it doesn't care for your feelings. This game is what is is, and you need to adapt to play. I'd give it 9 out of 10, one point of because the spawns are not the best at times, flashbangs/ concussions/ non lethals are spammed constantly and are insanely powerful (flashbangs especially). To add to this, at times it seems like I run and run and run and then die, for whatever reason. Given some, if not most of the time, it I my fault. My other point taken off, for a final of 8/10 will be because the spec ops is broken beyond belief. Way too many enemies at times, juggernauts are almost unkillable, and they don't have checkpoints after very clear key points. We extracted this chick from a container, protected her, then extracted her just to then land and protect an APC while 20+ enemies with RPGs hiding in buildings fired on it. Or how about the infamous airport mission. You hack the terminals, which is hard as hell and has jugs bombarding you the whole time, just to get on a plane and carry out a MW3/ MW style raid on said plane, then you jump out and parachute to safety and the mission ends... No it doesn't, you then have to extract that core from a nuclear device to and extraction point, which we didn't even get to because my parachute randomly closed and killed me, and juggernauts chased the rest of my team and mowed them down. It's insanely imbalanced and lacks many player friendly things such as CPs and regular enemy saturation, which sucks because we were still having fun (for the most part). I hope they fix it, because I was very much looking forward to it.… Expand

    Its 2019 and people are offended at COD, some things never change. The game is really fun so far. Campaign is good and the multiplayer makes me rage a bit but it's still fun and got me hooked.

    Multiplayer

    I really like most of the maps but they have one bad touch to it, camping. Some lobbies are really bad camping lobbies and u need to get out of them quickly or you fight the camping players.
    Also the game comes with an hidden mmr system, which connects you with players around your skill level, with that it also throws you after a Game in a new lobby.

    There is no noob stomping or getting stomped, its mostly challenging lobbies now in the same levels of skill. All of that is a good feature but it nearly destroys the party function with friends with different skill levels. They are better then you get stomped a lot or if you are better then your friends get stomped to much. The Enjoyment of the Games can be very low if the party is not on an near level of skill.

    Other than that i really like the weapons, skills and upgrades and the big battlefield like mode.

    Other than PVP you can play PVE too in some horde like side missions, with special quests to do.

    Its one of the better CoD out there and got me back into it, my last Game was Ghosts.    … Expand

This game has some of the most up and down content in the series, sometimes it wows you with the graphical design, then sometimes a sniper from 50 feet away kills you in multiplayer, you never know what your gonna get.

    I was super excited to jump into the game, controller in hand, I went into spec ops, ready to play some fun content with a friend. Then the realization came, both Spec Ops and “Co Op” were online only, for someone who bought this game almost entirely for the idea of playing games with friends, this was so disappointing.

    So you may be asking yourself, does Spec Ops live up to the incredibly high standards set by the trailers? Nope, this mode is one of the toughest modes I’ve played in a shooter game in a while, PVE in this game is just you being shot from enemies that constantly respawn and respawn and respawn over and over again. This mode is terrible, and the missions, bad.

    I then jumped into multiplayer, tears still in my eyes after watching myself die 20 times in a row, and the first thing I do, is I jump into a game of ten V ten on shipment, one of the new maps. As soon as I landed from the helicopter, I was having Vietnam flashbacks all over again, everyone was camping, I couldn’t move without being spawn killed, and overall hell broke loose. This map is literally so bad, I got so pissed off, I quit. I then played multiplayer for about 10 hours, making it to level 55 and having a k/d of, believe or not, 0.89. What? I thought.... Oh yeah, nevermind this multiplayer is such a grind, and it’s super fun for the most part. Besides all the campers that are shooting at you as soon as you spawn, gunplay is fun, graphics look great, and editing your weapons feels better then ever. Multiplayer is a step up from past CODs, and definitely a great PVP experience.

    Im not even going to bunch of filler and jokes into this section, because I need to get right to the point. This is, if not, one of the best Campaigns I’ve played in a COD game. This was also the first one I’ve finished on the hardest difficulty, Realism, where there is no hud. The last mission however, made me almost break my controller, after the _______ blew up, I was just getting sniped from out of nowhere, and I must of died 30 plus times, not at all an exaggerated statement. Besides that mission though, the campaign is so damn good. Overall, this is a step in the right direction for a game series that looks to be taking a step back every game, and it’s very refreshing. Spec ops is terrible, Multiplayer is fun, and Campaign is world class. Please play this game. Oh, and I didn’t play Warzone.... ew.

    Modern Warfare isn't nearly as bad as the reviews make it out to be, the weapon customization is incredible and really lets you make your weapons do what you want them to, and while the average TTK in multiplayer is incredibly low, it still manages to be fun through the constant fast pacing. the gunplay is incredible and realistic, and the sound design is wonderful

While I don’t necessarily think that having the Russians as the main antagonist was a bad thing, I do believe that more detail could’ve been shown as to why Barkov (the leader) does what he does besides Farah’s canned explanation of him being a mindless, ruthless leader. Nevertheless, I do believe that the Modern Warfare campaign was very emotionally gripping, with some light RPG elements in there such as dialogue trees and decisions that change the story’s progression. The gunplay has never felt better, but the running speed feels somewhat similar to Rainbow Six: Siege. Running in the campaign is very slow, in stark contrast to multiplayer and Warzone where you can run extremely fast. Again, just a small detail. The campaign has some replayability as the player might want to replay the game and make different choices in dialogue and the progression choices. I enjoyed the high-octane level design, and I especially enjoyed the attention to detail in regards to weapons and how they work. The snipers felt much more realistic as opposed to Advanced Warfare and even Black Ops III, and I enjoyed the satisfying feeling of connecting with a target 300 meters away. My one actual complaint with the game was that if you downloaded Warzone before you purchased Modern Warfare, you had to delete Warzone to install the campaign, multiplayer, and Spec Ops and then reinstall the Warzone patch. Also a few technical glitches on the Highway of Death mission can make or break your gameplay there, sometimes requiring you to restart the mission. Verdict: The Modern Warfare campaign was very emotionally gripping, and I thoroughly enjoyed playing through the story of Captain Price and his associates. The one complaint I had with the campaign was the buggy mission Highway of Death and the way they handled Warzone and Modern Warfare’s interactivity. Other than that, a phenomenal first-person shooter. 90%
    The multiplayer is very fun and interactive, loadout creation has never been smoother, and most maps are impeccably designed. There are always issues with a multiplayer game, however, and CoD is not exempt from said issues. One of my favorite things with FPS multiplayer is the ability to create a custom loadout, and Modern Warfare gives you all the tools to make your loadout intimately yours. One of the only problems with the loadout system is the slow menus. Menus in Modern Warfare are slower than usual, but I don’t know if this has to do with having the original Xbox One or if the game is genuinely slow. Gun Game, Ground War, Gunfight, and TDM are by far the best modes in my opinion, with Ground War’s intricately smooth strategic gameplay transferring over to Modern Warfare quite well. Gunfight is a fun new addition, with a bigger focus on strategy and prior planning rather than running across the map, guns blazing. Gun Game continues to be fun, although some of the weapons do not agree well with the map design. (Tell me how I’m supposed to get a respectable kill with the crossbow on Piccadilly!) Team Deathmatch continues to be a fun mode that has become a standard in multiplayer games. My main complaint with multiplayer is the maps. Azhir Cave is fun and requires you to be tactical, but the night mode is extremely disorienting, even with night vision on. Piccadilly is the bane of my existence, as the map is designed around a smorgasbord of vehicles. There is absolutely no cover whatsoever on Piccadilly unless you go in the buildings, but surprise! That is everyone else’s idea as well! Another big complaint with Modern Warfare multiplayer is the dependence on crossplay. I am all for cross-platform multiplayer games, but you should have an option to choose which platforms you want to play with. With the open-source format of Modern Warfare, it gives way for hackers and cheaters on PC to use hacks such as aimbot and wallbot (My loving nickname for the hack that lets you see through walls). Infinity Ward has done absolutely nothing about PC cheaters besides ban them, but that won’t help in the long run. Activision and Infinity Ward really need to crack down on PC cheaters and secure Modern Warfare’s servers, otherwise the game will continue to be plagued by this disease of cheating. Verdict: Modern Warfare’s multiplayer does an excellent job of giving us the classic Call of Duty vibes while just playing some good ol’ fashioned TDM. The only thing holding MW back is the dependence on crossplay and a few poor map designs, but other than that, MP on MW is a blast! 83%    … Expand

The writing is quite good.     We win a match, we lose other, and it continued for like 2 hours. Its really distracting when you know you are gonna win the next match without even trying.

    I recomend this game, it has a fun story, fun multiplayer and mediocre spec ops, kinda. The graphics are really good. And also if you like Battle Royale, is **** free so have at you.    … Expand

Lost 2 points because they broke the campaign with the inclusion of other games in the launcher where the pre rendered cutscenes are now always choppy with audio lagging making it unwatchable.

    Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is a good game that improved from the previous installments. I really enjoyed the campaign and would be interesting too see where this goes forward in the future. And the multiplayer was also pretty good as well. Overall, this was solid shooter and a good come back for the franchise.

    This years release/remake of COD MW is two different games in one. The campaign is very engaging and I loved the story. Great set pieces reminded me of films like Zero Dark Thirty and 13 Hours. This did a great job of providing a modern setting with lots of realistic gameplay and not over the top action like past COD titles. While the single-player is great the multiplayer is just ok.     The game over experience is fun, I like that it wasn’t covered in loot stuff and currency bs. I felt it fin like the original cod 4. I do dislike the never ending campers in multiplayer mode, but that every COD game. Story is good, I enjoyed it. Graphics and audio is awesome! Try it out for yourself and don’t listen to the haters with no life.

    And the game in it's current state is 7/10.
    (I don't hate it, it's just not really enjoyable for me when it fully released. However, Warzone looks good.)

If you've never been very good at COD or you're getting older you will probably be in the same boat. It's a punishing game and will test your patience every time you die. There are a lot of cheap deaths where you know you shot 1st or you get shot in the back. The footsteps are like concrete blocks on surfaces but the enemies are not usually where you think they are and...bang. You're dead.

    Basically if you are a very competitive gamer with little patience who doesn't camp with claymores, you may wanna skip this one for the sake of your mental health.    … Expand

    Great Call Of Duty this year. Campaign is visually great introducing some new mechanics into it. Multiplayer is great, time to kill and overall gameplay flow is decent. A game pass system is going to be introduced later though. Similar to the battle pass system in FortniteWhuch is disappointing because it's not a free game. .

I would like to put emphasis on the fact that this is the first Call of Duty I have actually enjoyed playing and invested a lot of time into since COD 4 remastered. The game itself is well balanced when it comes to its guns and is just generally fun and excited to play and I really do enjoy it. However, there is a major downside to this game and that’s the development of it. I have never played a game with so many issues and errors popping up. I know this isn’t just my network as it happens to everyone I know but everytime I freshly load up the game it says error connecting and sometimes this can genuinely take 3 attempts just to load up the game. You also can’t play loads of games back to back without a network error whether it’s being kicked out mid game for being disconnected from the call of duty servers or being kicked out of a party that you are in between games. I’ve noticed that in a party of 6 we can’t string more than 2 games together without their being a player booted out. The game itself also seems to freeze constantly and although it’s only for a few seconds when you’re in the lobby it can be so frustrating as you can’t even set up a class without the game glitching. The network errors for this game are such a let down considering how big the game itself is. I would genuinely rate this game a 9/10 if the network errors didn’t play such a big roll in preventing me from just having fun. This game with better servers and network consistency’s would be one of the top call of duty’s ever made hands down.… Expand

    This game is personally not for me. The campaign was overall good, but it would have been phenomenal had they made it more about real world events and less about "Russia bad West good." They clearly wanted to be controversial, but they do it in all the wrong ways. Want to show terrorism? Link it to real terrorist organizations and depict what they believe and how they behave. Want to show imperialism? Don't blame it all on Russia when the West and other Eastern countries don't have clean hands. Also, don't have violent moments for the sake of shock; this game has some but surprisingly does not overdo it. Overall, it's a good story with solid characters, great performances, fun levels, and some fan-service to the original.

    Multiplayer is not for me personally. Maps look bland and more or less the same. The gunsmith is overly complicated with probably 35 different attachments for each gun. It's just unnecessary. Like why are there like 10 different reflex sights for each AR/SMG? I appreciate what they tried to do, but it's just not for me.

    Spec ops is somewhat fun, but sometimes the hit detection just does not work at all, and certain things in survival mode or whatever it is called do not work either. The fact that it's been 2 years, and they haven't fixed it yet is just embarrassing.

    Overall okay game. Not worth 60 bucks though    … Expand

    The maps are designed for two things.
    1: Spawn trap.
    2: Camp.

    Thhis game is desperately trying to be Battlefield and fails doing so.

No gray colors. Strict black and white. You can say a lot about making russian soldiers animals, it is not the main problem. The problem is that it is just generic story without any strong thoughts. Usual, blunt and with plenty dull tries to rewrite modern history events. Game litterary takes you as an idiot. Combining with a dull gameplay it is just unacceptible. 2 - Multiplayer. Feels differently, fun and loyal to newcomers. Cross play is a great feature. But at the same time multiplayer lost its unique face. It feels like Medal of Honor 2010. Better, but it is not by all means a COD experience. Veterans might be dissappointed. In the end COD MW 2019 is not a terrible game. It is even not a bad one. It is just very and very mediocre.     The story is great and it is like the old COD but in saying that I fell like falling back on a old fan favourite is cheap and the only reason they did that was because of all the bad press from the micro transactions. And saying that again after a month that added the stupid thing in again.     - Русские отреагировали самым естественным образом, почти всем не понравилась идея Activision сделать из Российской армии войска ЭсЭс, Но некоторые "русские" откровенно признаются в ненависти к своей стране. Наверное промытые мутанты какие-нибудь, но точно не русские

    Я вспомнил свои эмоции, когда я играл в Ghost Recon Wildlands. Я там стрелял в боливийцев и вообще ни разу не воспринимал их как настоящую армию, понимал, что это игра и фикция. Там кстати эту игру забанили.

    This game does so much right, but also so much wrong. Since they are going back to the roots and bringing back old mechanics this game should be a dream for every CoD veteran, Sadly this dream gets destroyed after a few hours played in multiplayer.

    This game could be such a treasure, if its not that broken.
    Things they REALLY need to change:
    - Netcode (For real! Sometimes u hit enemys 3 meters away with 5 hitmarkers and get a 25 assist)
    - more maps! The map design of the ones right now is hated by many ppl
    - Gun reworks
    - Making dead silence a perk since this game is a campfest which is no fun at all (Most of the time the timer runs out before u get to the score limit)
    -Fixing a lot of graphic and other issues

    What is good about this game:
    - The weapons look good at are powerfull
    - the sound engine is very good
    - no kid skins (atleast for now) for weapons and other stuff. U need to work for the camo u want (oldschool)
    . daily missions
    - good killstreaks and good killstreak system
    -graphics (might be for some ppl a thing, i play on lowest anyway)
    - The loadout options

    I hope they will change something.. cause i really want to have fun playing this game.. but 80% of the time its torture.    … Expand

The war crimes depicted were not only carried out in real life by MIDDLE EASTERN countries, but also by America itself! Research the Highway of Death- a horrible crime committed by America, but put on the Russians in this game,Although the game plays well, It is hard to overcome the ridiculous amount of lies and propaganda that Modern Warfare‘s campaign tries to instill upon players.     Great game and if you actually follow truth and not some eastern Slavic alternative reality based lies from followers of a height challenged despot hell bent on recovering something they never had until 2016, you’ll find the game to be entertaining. Bring it on tvarish, Patton was correct about mother Russia, should’ve finished her off decades ago.

    I wish I loved the game, but i don't. Been a fan of Cod since the first Call of Duty games. The maps are pretty boring, too big. It's all about riot shields, RPG, shotguns and sniping. The only good thing is Warzone and it's one map (Shoot House). Singleplayer is all right. Nothing special. It's like playing Call of Duty Ghosts all over again. I just wish I loved it. I had hopes

    Great campaign start! Very real and eye-popping..
    Vetran seems to be easier than previous games, but its nice not having infinite spawning enemies like in COD4.

    Issues:
    - Kicking me out of games (8/10 times)
    - Lack of spec op missions (3 Star)

    I haven’t played the full campaign yet, but the multiplayer is phenomenal. When you take away the scummy ways people play and look at the way the game is constructed it’s very impressive. Also, despite the obvious historical fallacies in the campaign, it’s still just a game and isn’t meant to replace what we know as history so I don’t find that very important. Overall a super fun game fromI haven’t played the full campaign yet, but the multiplayer is phenomenal. When you take away the scummy ways people play and look at the way the game is constructed it’s very impressive.     Call of Duty: Modern Warfare serves up the freshest take on a stale formula in years, with a new engine and revitalised multiplayer mode that takes full advantage of a finely-tuned weapon customisation system and some welcome changes to ballistic mechanics. While Spec Ops fails to deliver much long-term attraction, the story mode proves there’s plenty of justification for a narrative element in a modern shooter. Free maps and updates bring everyone onto the same page in multiplayer, but Infinity Ward's take on the battle pass template still needs some work.

    If you don’t mind being killed by the odd nuke – how anyone can score 30 consecutive kills is beyond our tiny minds – PvP could swallow your damn life. Pair it with a gutsy (if insensitive) campaign, and this tonally conflicted series continues to stay relevant thanks to the best guns in the biz. [Issue#184, p.68]
