Absolute gloom, boring plot, disgusting graphics, terrible weapon physics. The whole repetitive, predictable plot is terrible. You pray to get through this faster.

Ok what is the deal with all the hate here? This campaign was pretty good, especially the last couple of missions. Compare the story to the original mw1 and mw2 and it's on par with them. At least imo. Multiplayer is good too, only issue is IED spam, **** hate it. I bought this for like 2$ with all dlc, and thats a lot for literally no money. (I recommend argentinian VPN on eneba/kinguin.)

Extremely underrated. And I like it that way. The best hit detection, DLC, Perk system and Zombies alternative in Call of Duty history. If BO2 didnt have connection issues it would be slightly better than Ghosts. I had a great experience with this game. Second favorite CoD of all time.

Call of Duty Ghosts is a mixed bag for me. While the game may not be "broken" having not many bugs (at least that I've encountered or noticed.) There are issues with the gameplay and overall experience of the game. The story is interesting but its nothing special overall, there were some things I was confused and disappointed about, and the ending was pretty disappointing.

The mutliplayer is alright, some of the maps are a bit too large and ends up becoming a walking/running simulator for most of the time. But overall there's nothing incredibly special compared to other multiplayer modes from the previous (and future) installments.

And the new Extinction Mode (which replaced Zombies) just doesn't feel that good. Its a interesting idea to diverge from the zombies idea to something else (in this case Aliens.) But I feel like it just missed the mark overall.

Finally, I feel like the game didn't fully take advantage of the new generation either. Just being used as an excuse as why the game under-performed players expectations if anything. Overall, the game is pretty disappointing and started the downfall of the franchise in my opinion.

Call of duty ghosts is the best campaign I've ever seen and I want to see more of the call of duty ghosts campaign. And the multiplayer is alright but I think in ghosts two it will be new and improved and so as extinction. Call of duty ghosts is Fun and exciting and I can't wait for there to be a part two to the storyline

This is only a review for the single player campaign, which is all I’ve played.

I’ve played several of these campaigns, and so far this is my favorite. I didn’t expect it to be as good as it was, but it was a very pleasant surprise. Really good action game.

There were some bits that were really challenging, and for that I dropped a point. Honestly, some parts could have used a few fewer enemy shooters.

But that’s my only complaint. I made it through eventually, and I’m glad I did. I recommend it.

Call of Duty Ghosts has good parts and bad parts. The Campaign was really enjoyable (If i was scoring just the campaign i would give it a 8.5/10). The Multiplayer had some okay maps but was nothing exciting and the new mode extinction i hated, Zombies would have been much better.
    I give this game a 6/10.

un juego con un mal multiplayer, la campaña es aceptable pero el multiplayer es muy pobre, mal balanceado, mapas enormes para un 6 vs 6, demasiado lag, de los peores call of duty de la historia

I understand the criticisms that people have regarding this game, and yes, this game's core gunplay and multiplayer is *very* similar to that of MW3, IW's last CoD installment. Squad Mode is by far, the best innovation that the CoD franchise has brought to the plate in the last 5-6 years. The campaign is par for the course, but between Squads and Extinction, Ghosts delivers a great offering of cooperative and solo multiplayer fun that will keep non-competitive fans of the series more than happy. I still play Ghosts and consider it my favorite game in the series. Expand

Call of Duty: Ghosts is actually a pretty decent game. I don't understand the hate. I'm one of those who actually HATES Advanced Warfare. Ghosts multiplayer is actually REALLY solid and the story is pretty good too. Not great, but good. I do not like the co-op mode.

WHY IS THIS ON NEXT-GEN? It has no purpose. Not only that, its also a crappy game anyways, making this "Next-Gen" version WORSE. I would at least give the Last-Gen version a 5.

Call of Duty: Ghosts offers nothing new to the increasingly homogenized modern warfare shooter genre that is the standard for today. Played Modern Warfare 2? Good. You do not need to play Ghosts. I'm going to break it down into 3 subjects: Campaign, Multiplayer, and Extinction.

Campaign: Absolutely pathetic. The setting jumps around the world every mission with no reason or cohesion.

You start out in Outer Space. Bing! Now you're in San Diego. Bing! Now you're in South America. Bing! Now you're in the Antarctic Ocean. Bing! You're back in space. The story is about 2 brothers and their dad, belonging to an elite commando unit called the Ghosts. I don't remember any of their names because that's how poor the characters are. The campaign is shallow, and meaningless. Don't bother
Multiplayer: They really tried with this one. Ghosts follows the same twitch shooter mechanics as its predecessors have. Unfortunately, many of the components such as Perks, Gun Attachments, and kill-streaks are unnecessarily complex and confusing. you unlock things through an equally confusing currency system, akin to Black Ops 1. This Xbone version suffers from framerate drops on some of the maps, and it just looks ugly. I can only recommend this if you REALLY love Call of Duty. If you don't, you'll be fine playing Modern Warfare or Black Ops.
Extinction: It's a pretty cool idea, but like the multiplayer, it is overly complex when it doesn't need to be. People love Nazi Zombies because it is only as complex as it needs to be. You can delve into the more complex stuff if you want, but if you just want to blast some zombies, you can do that too. However, Extinction also has its own economy relying on points, and there are weird objectives and strange objects in the environment that don't need to exist. It's a shame, really. Extinction is fun for a bit, but lacks the lasting value of Nazi Zombies.

In conclusion: This is NOT the next-gen call of duty experience. It is simply a mediocre game at best. I only recommend it if you find it at the bottom of the bargain bin at Best Buy.

In my opinion the worst COD ever, visually it is one the same level as the PS2 games, the campaign is a bit boring and of course repetitive and the multiplayer mode is a complete disaster. The maps are bigger the Battlefield's ones for a 6 vs 6 game, they're ugly and boring as hell.

Well... It was boring, but it didn't make me want to take the disc out, break it over my knee, and then throw the shards of the disc at a wall ninja star style. Seeing as it was the only game i had to play for 6 months until halo: the master chief collection came out, that in itself was impressive. My favorite aspect of this game, as weird as it may be, was that they separated marksman rifles and assault rifles in the class making menu. Ghosts is a decent Call of Duty game that doesn't deserve the hate it gets. The campaign is okay. The only thing about online that I don't like about online is that there are micro transactions. They're mostly cosmetic but you need to pay extra money to have ten custom class slots on your person. Yes, you're only given six, unlike past Call of Duties. The other mode, "Extinction," is basically Infinity Ward's version of Treyarch's zombies, except they use aliens. This mode is nothing special: just survive waves of aliens, it's meh. The things I really do enjoy about this game are the visuals and the environment. Each mission has a unique setting that is great to explore, same with the multiplayer maps. Some of the maps are simply amazing but there are a few that are dull and just plain bad. Ghosts is a good addition to the franchise and is better than the popular opinion of being awful. Expand

Infinity Ward has lost capacity, it's out of ideas. Call of Duty: Ghosts is the same blast of scripts in single-player and the conventional formula in multiplayer. That's all. Fun and addictive as always, this game is silent in your Call of Duty collection, it leaves no trace.

Call of Duty: Ghosts is a mess of a game. That’s not to say that it’s nonfunctional or bad to play, rather, it loses sight of its core principles and eschews an amazing opportunity with the advent of our transition to next-gen, as well as being the first true IW CoD sans Zampella and West, through poorly constructed (and utilised) tech, half-assed delivery of modes and a single-player campaign that sets the series back more than a few years.
