Oct 13, 2018Best the series has been in years. Packed with multiplayer content, Zombies content and Blackout has a nice leveling system to keep you coming back. PC version also runs beautifully.
-
Oct 12, 2018We can all agree that the Call of Duty series is very repetitive, and this game is no exception, but that doesn't mean it is bad, the Battle Royal is fun, the Zombies mode is engaging and fast paced, and the multiplayer has all of the gamemodes the series is known for.

Oct 15, 2018I'm liking the game so far, mainly playing the multiplayer mode but Blackout and Zombies is also pretty good. Best COD for a long time IMO.

Dec 20, 2018As a CoD gamer since the very first game on PC ad it's eventual ports, I have seen the series transition may times. I can safely say this is officially my favorite CoD, dethroning MW2 through it's 3 great modes and the customization options.

Oct 15, 2018Blackout is addictive and fun, and multiplayer is the best the game has provided in years. Also, with three full zombie maps, it's a game that is not lacking in content, despite no campaign. Highly recommend.

Nov 29, 2018First COD since Modern Warfare 2 that im actually enjoying. Multiplayer is interesting, Blackout (BR) is great and the zombies are not bad too.
-
Oct 12, 2018Buy this call of duty, it's the best since 2009 and that's saying something, ignore the haters just because they could be bad at the game.
-
Oct 28, 2018Classic case where you should listen to the critic reviews over the user reviews. This game is outstanding. Best COD since Black Ops 2.
-
Nov 29, 2018Good cod reminds me classic original black ops
-no jet packs
-good maps (summit, firing range, jungle, nuketown, arsenal etc..)
-battle royale
-scope is very different by pace in tdm and br so it feels like two different games! -

Nov 18, 2018Blackout is very good if you're into battle royale. Multiplayer is your standard multiplayer experience. Zombies is where this game excels, as per any Treyarch title. (I only give games 0,5 or 10)

Nov 27, 2018This is a good game, not perfect, but good. It's fun, and has a good multiplayer. But, stop complaning about there not beeing a singleplayer mode.
-
Nov 20, 2018This can be taken and smeared. Here is the Battle Royale that we deserve. Bye PABG, bye Fortnite. Future time is very suitable for such a regime.

Jan 29, 2019Smooth movement. Snappy gunplay. As a player of only the original Call of Duty Modern Warfare, I have to say this reminds of how that game made me feel - powerful and in control. Great game.

Apr 2, 2020Great game. I was woried it was going to to sci-fi but it was fine. I definitely recommend.

Official Xbox Magazine UKDec 18, 2018Tired and lacking ideas, this is the most disappointing CoD in years that follows, not leads. [Christmas 2018, p.72]

Oct 30, 2018Deprived of its usual solo campaign, Call of Duty Black Ops 4 looks more like a patchwork than a whole, tight experience. Nonetheless, its multiple game modes, among which the first AAA Battle Royale, have enough to offer.
-
Oct 22, 2018Still, as rich in content as Black Ops 4 might be, it does exclude a segment of shooter fans that have no interest in multiplayer or competitive gaming, or don’t have a community of gaming friends to play with. Solo players can have a lot of fun with Black Ops 4, though ranking up in multiplayer can be a bit of a frustrating slog through hours of humiliation at the hands of experienced series veterans. The new Blackout mode is probably the best point of entry and promises to be an entertaining game of choice for months to come.
