Jun 26, 2021The fact that there's only multiplayer and zombies here is good considering how the last Black Ops campaign was, but there was also a huuuuuge lack of content. Base multiplayer was boring and the zombies mode wasn't much better either. The saving grace of this game tho is Blackout, which would be further improved upon with Warzone which launched during the next COD game's cycle.

Dec 24, 2019Again, what the hell happened to this now god awful gaming franchise. Literally the only good new addition is Blackout, which is mediocre at best. What an honest joke.

Sep 28, 2022You can have fun on Black Ops 4, but it is a very small chance in comparison to the suffering you are put through due to map design, weapons and the god-awful specialists.

Jul 21, 2023Horrible game not fun at all just downgrade from bo3 one of the main problems this game has is just really boring gameplay and a terrible campaign
-
Oct 12, 2018I wand my 60 euro back bad game. Not word the money boring and still the same and noting compare to pug. Also the same 50 euro pass for the same crappy maps. Even free the same thing from CoD

Jul 29, 2019This game is absolutely not worth playing if you have a good internet connection. People that are having bandwidth issues will win in a firefight everytime. It dosen't matter if your playing multiplayer or black out they will win.

May 30, 2019**** this game. There’s way too much lag with the game. HC any mode blows ass. Hit markers for days. The intermission between games is so short you can’t even look at create a class. If you do try and update your guns the lag is unreal. The game doesn’t allow you to use the mic half the time. They need to do some huge fixes on this game.

Jul 10, 2019This is so gay, I only want DLC 3 and I want to save up for the next cod but I now have to save more money because the only way for me to get DLC 3 is through the black ops pass, I don’t even want the entire DLC I want just the zombie map... like **** off @treyarch @Activision stop being ****ing greedy cocks if anything it would benefit you.

Oct 18, 2018Same garbage, year after year, with a weak battle royale mode throw in to try and save face.

Official Xbox Magazine UKDec 18, 2018Tired and lacking ideas, this is the most disappointing CoD in years that follows, not leads. [Christmas 2018, p.72]

Oct 30, 2018Deprived of its usual solo campaign, Call of Duty Black Ops 4 looks more like a patchwork than a whole, tight experience. Nonetheless, its multiple game modes, among which the first AAA Battle Royale, have enough to offer.
-
Oct 22, 2018Still, as rich in content as Black Ops 4 might be, it does exclude a segment of shooter fans that have no interest in multiplayer or competitive gaming, or don’t have a community of gaming friends to play with. Solo players can have a lot of fun with Black Ops 4, though ranking up in multiplayer can be a bit of a frustrating slog through hours of humiliation at the hands of experienced series veterans. The new Blackout mode is probably the best point of entry and promises to be an entertaining game of choice for months to come.
