    Beyond the silliness of it all, repetition, precision and ogling at so many sets of twins while they pine about cats somehow makes Bus Simulator a joyous ride; a fareing good time. At least, something worth the ticket price.

    Despite the UI downers, I still found myself rather charmed with Bus Simulator. It does exactly what it says on the tin, and for that I admire it. The act of driving about the city is relaxing, planning routes and getting to know them is oddly fun, and managing the back end of the business can get quite deep. Even if you may not think it’s up your street, hop aboard one day and you might just be surprised.

    From just looking at the title of the game you will know whether you’re going to love Bus Simulator on Xbox One or not. The gameplay is a slog at times, but the repetitive nature is also sort of soothing to the soul, with the missions bringing a bit of reason to why you are there and allowing you to continue playing in order to unlock things.

    Bus Simulator aims to be just that, the defacto simulation experience for not only driving a bus, but all of the other work that goes into running a transportation company for a large city. Yes, many will find the gameplay quite repetitive and dull, but there’s a certain calmness to it that I enjoyed and found relaxing. Yes, it’s a seriously niche game that will cater to a very specific audience, but if you’re in that demographic, there’s no better options out there, even if it’s not very pretty to look at.

    Bus Simulator is a nice change of pace on consoles usually filled with 200mph racing games, providing a more sedate and relaxing experience for casual players and an in-depth simulation for enthusiasts.

In an attempt to bring Public transportation back you're invited to help run a Bus Company. This incredibly beautiful Sim sets you in the seat of a Public Transportation bus, in a huge free drive area. The graphics are smooth, and most of the visualizations are extremely clean. With full control over your bus, from the cabin lights to the change machine, you undertake various routes through the city. Even the daily routes themselves are customizable! Face down the daily hassles and challenges of a day bus driving including managing bothersome passengers and potholes to terrible weather. You have incredible customization of the 8 different licensed City Buses including Mercedes-Benz and IVECO. The open roam map has 12 districts, each with their on traffic, and scenery. This game is actually quite relaxing, allowing you so much control you can have a near zen experience, aside from that guy playing his music too loud... The game is slightly driven by an RPGish story progression, and is moved along by a very fun character. If you have some friends who would like to join there is multiplayer, so you can expand your fleet and drive together! This is a wonderful Sim, and fans of Vehicle simulators should definitely enjoy hours of passenger transportation!… Full Review »

I expected it to be repetitive, so I can live with that. What I didn’t expect was herky jerky steering and clumsy menus. Another annoyance is making change for the riders. Not that you have to do it (you can disable this), but that it is so hard to tell which coin slot is active (I’m playing 4k hdr for reference). This is simply not a game I can recommend. If you’re looking for a similar game, check out Truck Driver which dropped on Xbox the same day as Bus Simulator. Though Truck Driver isn’t 10/10, it’s much better than this game.… Full Review »

    I LOVE and I mean LOVE this game

    I gave it a 9 because it has a few issues which needs a patch. I believe that patch is coming out next    I LOVE and I mean LOVE this game

    This game is worth every penny I love the way it feels on the road loads of good missions and the map is excellent.
