    BROK the InvestiGator is a wonderful mix of brain and brawn that combines two unlike genres into a fun game like no other. The voice acting and the art style were both executed well and I had a blast playing such an impressive game. Although the puzzles and plot holes can bring the overall experience down a bit, I'll happily grab my magnifying glass regardless and prepare for many more hours ahead with Brok and Graff.

    I fully recommend picking up BROK the InvestiGator. I had a lot of time to spend playing it before writing this and I enjoyed my time to leisurely learn and explore. The story was excellent and thought provoking and the voice acting was some of the best I’ve enjoyed in a game of any style and budget. Point and Click adventure games often get a bad wrap and the combining of genres often ends in a messy final game, but somehow COWCAT managed to create something wonderful and interesting, and I can’t wait to see what they bring us next.

    With a pretty good blend of puzzles and fighting, Brok the InvestiGator doesn’t have very many dull moments. People who don’t normally enjoy this genre might be pleasantly surprised! If you get stuck you can always get the hints, which will tell you exactly what to do next. The story is well-written and the voice acting doesn’t skip a beat. A big bonus is being able to go through the game multiple times to discover all of the endings and scenes. It makes it very replayable, and you actually won’t feel like you’ve completed the story until you’ve run through it a few times to find an ending that you are happy with. I like that there are multiple ways to progress certain encounters, and it was actually fun looking for the Ads which are the collectibles that can be used for hints. I do wish there were a few more cases though, as they kind of took a backseat to Brok’s family drama. Would I play a sequel or DLC? I definitely would. Hopefully, they are finished with this character.

    When something is enjoyable, it needs to be acknowledged: BROK the InvestiGator is quite impressive. Disguised behind cute and colourful outfits, it presents us a future that nobody would wish for; yet it is not without hope. It is a real treat to tag along these picturesque and well-written characters’ adventures. The COWCAT studio presents us with a small concoction of mixed genres, something quite rare nowadays. As one can guess, the combat part obviously is subpar to what the specialised competition of the genre proposes. So, grab the hero’s scaly paw and dive into the year 3035: you will not regret it!
