his is a great Value, there is not another game out there that can compete with the amount of content here, its well over 200+ hours and that just the first play through. I already owned the previous games on the 360, you can transfer your saves to the XBone, which is great so you can continue your characters. the same applies to ps3 to ps4

Seriously though, this is worth every single centling of the price; you're getting TWO games with heaps of hours between them, additional content worth hundreds more hours and cash, and the appreciation of Handsome Jack (at least that's what he told me... from the grave... somehow...) for the same price you pay for the latest Call of Duty that'll last you maybe a year with hours only put into multiplayer (I kid though). If you haven't already, get off the internet, haul ass to your nearest local game store, request your copy of this collection, pop it into your Xbox One, do... stuff while it downloads, aaaaaaaaaaaaaaand ENJOY!!!
(sorry in advance if this isn't helpful, on impulse I try to make any review I make on Borderlands seem humorous.)
In all seriousness, I couldn't ask for a better collection. BL2 and BL:TPS in 1080p and 60fps is my idea of gaming perfection, and unless you're happy with your existing X360 or PS3 or PC copies, definitely give this a whirl, even at full price!

Senseless killing of everything, 80 Bazillion weapons, great characters, and a outsanding 4 player Co-Op experience this is one of the better ports that has been released since the Next-Gen consoles hit the scene. The only bad thing is the fact that it did not include my personal favorite, Borderlands 1. Some minor lag issues, and graphical glitches, other than that this is a great time that you could easily lose 40 plus hours over BOTH games. I would suggest you purchase this before Gearbox releases Borderlands 3 (sometime soon hopefully). What are you waiting for? Give it a shot, or a couple hundred thousand. Expand

I played Borderlands 2 through multiple times on the Xbox 360 and love the game and universe. Fortunately the BL2 part of the Handsome Collection is spot-on, it looks great and performs perfectly.

That meant I was doubly disappointed when playing the Pre-Sequel to find it had such performance issues. Almost constant screen tearing and other graphical glitches have not made it unplayable

I look forward to these issues being dealt with by patches but it seems a joke that they released the game as it is...

I am not big on split screen (especially 4 player split screen) so it doesn't bug me that the Pre-Sequel bogs down a bit in 4 player mode. Nowadays I've got the time and I bought the Handsome Collection after a recommendation from my friend.

All I can say is that this game is absolutely incredible! I am so glad I bought it.

Been playing Borderlands 2 to start with and I am immersed in this beautifully crafted world, it's different regions, and excellent variety of characters, friends and enemies. There is a lot of replay value here as you constantly strive to level up your character and gain access to the best items. Once you are done with one character, hell it's time to start a new one! There are different classes to choose from, each with different strengths/weaknesses and abilities.

There is just so much attention to detail here it's amazing. I love the art style and it gives the game such a unique feel, Also the sound and music is great.

Also this version includes all of the DLC ever released (and there is a lot) which makes this game even better.

My only problem so far is that the online browser doesn't seem to work very well. This is a shame because playing coop with other people really enhances the experience.

All in all though, if you haven't experienced Borderlands before this is a MUST buy, and don't forget you get the Pre-sequel as well as part of the package, so there is literally hours and hours of value here.

However, after putting in over 2000 hours on the BL2 game and fully completing it and then having to get another 360 for the pre-sequel for my birthday....it is kind of a slap in the face. The achievements are worth tons more by TA standards because most people in the gaming universe have already put their hearts and souls into the 360 version. There is no way to get the much higher ranked TA cheeves because weve already gotten them all. (ive gotten all in one, two and am missing one grinding one fro the pre-sequel) So basically if you are an achievement whore like me, you are screwed unless a million more people buy the new version whove never played it and get the cheeves for the first time so it drops the TA ratio a bit. I am quite bitter about that aspect of this being redone. If you are new, somehow...This is a must-buy for your collection with things that can keep you going for months. It looks beautiful and if you are anything like me, you will become obsessed. Most of what I am referring to is BL2 which is why this is a hard game to score. In my opinion BL2 is far superior to the pre-sequel (which I will credit with making some much needed changes and listening to the gamer community. It essentially comes down to this: If you are new it is a must have game. (I do highly recommend BL1 which you can probably get for pretty cheap now because it does follow a story-line and is a phenomenal game. You may not be impressed with the 2009 graphics, but it will help you understand things in the future...not a necessity....just recommended.) On the flip-side: If you did what I did and put tons of hours in on the 360 then there isnt much of a point unless you want a prettier picture, etc. I just cant personally bring myself to re-commit the way I did on 360. If this was just BL2 and leaving out what Im hugely disappointed by with the cheeves, I would give this a ten. Easily. However, the pre-sequel is dropping that. Still a fun game....but, in my opinion it lost some of the soul the first two games had. Expand

Handsome Jack is my gosh damn favorite character in the whole damn series, besides Rhys. Because let's face it, I hate Lilith. Like I really hate her. But I can't say that the games NPC are a little dated with the way the blankly stare at you when you talk to them and they always talk with weird hand motions, but this game is still amazing to look at. My favorite class of all time was the Assasin class, no doubt. It made you feel like a real assassin and that you aren't just another spy class that all they can do is snipe people. No, it makes you feel like you can actually be like an assassin/spy. I won't lie though, there are some **** physics and some bosses that are just so annoying it makes you wanna quit for a moment just so you don't punch you damn fist through the screen or your TV. But that doesn't happen very often if you don't go into weird or awkward places in an area or when going through a certain area. Or just make sure you know you're not stuck on a goddamn wall while enemies attacking you.

Overall this series is definitely a game worth buying and playing. It will make you laugh, rage (for certain parts), and hell even cry and some points. Whether it be from happiness or sadness. This game has and always will have a special place in my heart, and my console.
