    I went into this game not expecting much, and to be quite honest I was pretty impressed at the start of the game. I really was enjoying the game's two unique mechanics, and how the environments were fairly open, allowing you to explore the woods looking for clues.

    As I progressed further, however, a lot of that good will / strong first impressions began to rapidly disappear.     As I progressed further, however, a lot of that good will / strong first impressions began to rapidly disappear. The main character is exceptionally one dimensional and unlikable, feeling as though they've taken as many horror cliches and tried to staple them all together. The game constantly drones on with rather generic haunted house music that sucks away a lot of the atmosphere / genuine creepiness of the game (highly recommend you just turn off the music if you decide to play the game - it makes the game creepier). Then there's the "combat", which is particularly poorly put together and feels super gimmicky and not particularly fun. More frustrating than anything.

    It eventually all came to a head upon reaching a hazardous area that I needed to navigate through. I had figured out pretty quickly what I needed to do, but a NPC in the game kept reiterating and hammering that point home about once every thirty seconds / if you come anywhere close to messing up and failing the sequence. It became exceptionally aggravating and frustrating, removing just about any tension the sequence could have had.

    I was really hoping that we'd have a hidden gem of a horror game on our hands, but unfortunately it's just a complete mess that constantly assumes the player is an idiot.    … Expand

    I'm not going to lie and pretend that I enjoyed Blair Witch. No. Trying to navigate its chapters and finding workarounds for bad glitches replaced most of the horror to be had with pure frustration, on top of what was already a very predictable and disappointing storyline to begin with.

This is difficult to pull off, with games in the genre too often faltering late on.     However, the game's greater success late on is somewhat a reflection of how weak the early stages of this game are. You never really feel in danger for the first three quarters of the game. Enemies are not particularity subtle, frightening, or difficult to deal with. The game makes it far too clear when you are actually in danger, When you also combine trailing around in the dark, usually confused as to what you're moving towards, with frame-rate drops and bugs, it can make for a frustrating rather than horrifying experience.

    There is a mildly interesting narrative and some genuine horror to be found, at least late on. making it worthwhile for fans of the genre, but its far from a must-play.    … Expand

    El juego esta muy mal optimizado para la Xbox One X, se notan los fotogramas cuando mueves la camara, que parece que va a 15-20 fps.. Una lastima por sacar el juego sin pulir

    Decent game with some good mechanics. Game has some annoying bugs which should have been fixed before release. Achievements have spoilers which should have been cover as secrets. very nice ambience within the forest which makes it terrifying. once the game gets patched I'd give it an 8

Спасибо за змейку на телефоне. много вещей сделали для того чтоб они были, а вернусь снова к сюжету, он сделан на скоряк, хотя были моменты, где ты такой, да ладно!!! но нет, все равно игра хуже предыдущих работ.     This game is ok for "free" @ xbox game pass. Thats it. Gameplay, technique, storytelling is not that good. It doesn't catch you. No fear.

    Very repetitive game, expected more suspense and more elaborate plot, the graphics are also much inferior compared to the current generation.

    There's a perfect balance of jump scare to suspense and dread here that starts at about the 10 minute mark and never lets up. I really did not like this game, had high expectations for it, but were frustrated with a weak plot, poor terror that made me not even want to close the game, come halfway and stopped, I'd rather finish my other games than continue this, I don't recommend the game to anyone who wants a horror game...… Expand

    Esse jogo não traz nenhum tipo de terror bom o suficiente pra me assustar, o que é péssimo para um jogo de "TERROR".
    E o jogo é muito bugado, mas tem gráficos lindo e uma boa trilha sonora, mas fora isso o jogo e uma porcaria.

    This an a boring walking simulator that somehow manages to run bad on the XB1X.. Ill never understand how some people like these games with almost no interaction. Just push forward and wait for the game to decide when to load the next area..     First of all.. Blair Witch is basically unplayable on the xbox game pass for pc… if you play in full screen, which I did for narly half of the game… its so dark this feels more like a movie based on bird box.. and I just though no, this is how the game was meant to be. Especially because the opening sequence was so blown out, and I could see perfectly fine in the day time, it wasn’t until after I noticed my recording software have a hard time capturing the gameplay in full screen that I relized that if you play out of full screen, the game actually looks fine and is finally playable.. but still not enjoyable… this is a game all about being lost in the woods and you constantly feel like this, youre stuck in the same areas of the game both in and out of the woods far too long, that this sacks you with the chore feelings, bullet is there with you to sniff out clues and help lead you through thankfully… you really come to rely on him to get through this game… but as a game from the bloobr team, you do see a lot of that layers of fear styled design, with a really cool rewind mechanic that allows you to alter the world around you by pausing tapes found throughout the world at the right time, I just wish we saw more of the bloobr team spirit, as it disappears outside of these few moments and the final chapter of the game.. but even that final chapter drug onto much…
    Blair witch overall is just a disappointment…and if youre gaming on pc, it’s a disappointment not even worth the hassle to try and play…
    The world quickly goes from intriguing to I cant wait for this to be over…

    Soy un gran gran fan de la peli y corri a instalarlo dia uno... la verdad un poco de decepcion me lleve...
    Inicio lento pero bien... graficamente normalito no mata... historia bueno, bien... pero la caida de frames ufff me duele mucho. Saquen un parche x favor... ahun asi es de game pass..... asi que se ha de jugar. en 15 horas esta acabado y es una buena experiencia.

    O jogo é um deja vu de Outlast. Falta originalidade, é bem curto, menos de 6 horas e a impressão é que você fica andando, andando, andando... Tem aspectos positivos como a mecânica do cão, mas o jogo no geral ele fica aquém das expectativas. Não espere nada grandioso ou surpreendente ou tão assustador.

    For now I cannot rate this game higher than a 6 out of 10. The reasons for this are the bugs the game contains especially regarding the dog. Often the dog runs into a place where it gets stuck effectively killing the whole game. Either you need it to show you the way or show you were an enemy or object is which it then doesn't do anymore, resulting in you getting killed or getting stuck inFor now I cannot rate this game higher than a 6 out of 10. The reasons for this are the bugs the game contains especially regarding the dog. Often the dog runs into a place where it gets stuck effectively killing the whole game. Either you need it to show you the way or show you were an enemy or object is which it then doesn't do anymore, resulting in you getting killed or getting stuck in that part of the level. Trying to pet your dog in those situations often results in the game locking your character into place. This all happened to me 5 times in one day while playing the game forcing me to restart from an earlier save. Aside from that the graphics on Xbox One X are far from great. Right from the start it kind of felt like I was playing an Xbox 360 game instead of an Xbox One X game. The world is littered with very low quality textures and low polygon models. That would be no problem if it had any kind of benefit on the games performance but it doesn't. The game still targets 30fps which it regularly fails to maintain. Framedrops are a common thing while playing making for an inconsistent experience.

    This is all a shame because the game has a lot of potential. Now it feels like one of those (many) games this generation that was released in an unfinished state. Once they patch the bugs out and give the game some visual optimizations, it can be a lot more pleasant to play through. The story is nice and the game has a nice (but sometimes predictable) horror atmosphere.    … Expand

    A good 7 for me was interesting to see if they pulled it off and it worked for me ,some great scary moments .hope there is a sequel.

    Jogo genérico, gráficos e jogabilidade de jogo indie de 30 reais da steam. Parado demais certos pontos, dá vontade de largar. Walking simulator. não é horrível, mas tem milhares de jogos melhores e bem executados

    Blair Witch is a successful videogame translation of what made the original film so haunting. It doesn’t move far outside the dev team’s comfort zone, but the warmth of the relationship between a man and his dog almost made it worth fighting through the motion sickness it gave me. Almost.

    Blair Witch captivated me in a way that no other horror game has ever done before. A brilliant story that is complimented by even better gameplay allows for an enjoyable, yet terrifying experience. It has a few issues in terms of gameplay but iron those out and it's near perfect.
