Jul 14, 2015This could of been a really good prequel with great potential, however the story was lackluster with only about 1 hour long play through. it didn't bring anything new and only contained predator missions and average hacking and fighting sequences

Jul 14, 2015At roughly 90 minutes long I was hoping it would be a little longer since its going to be one of the few story DLC in the season pass. However I did enjoy those 90 minutes. I have always wanted to play as Batgirl in the Arkham games and she is suitably badass. The environments were well made and the combat is of course up fantastic and satisfying.

Jul 15, 2015Batman: Arkham Knight- Batgirl: A Matter of Family had so much potential. Playing as Batgirl and Robin together could have been so much fun. However, with only about an hour or so of gameplay, it is a letdown.

Official Xbox Magazine UKSep 9, 2015What's here is good, but doesn't justify the price when you're not even getting an hour of gameplay. [Oct 2015, p.91]

Jul 24, 2015What had the potential to be a great piece of DLC, is instead an all-too brief episode of missed opportunities and squandered potential starring a great heroine who deserves far better.

Jul 20, 2015A Matter of Family is an admirable attempt to bring a playable version of Batgirl into the Arkham fold but noticeable technical issues, severe narrative inconsistencies, and a main story that literally goes nowhere drag it down from the lofty heights of greatness.
