    Um mapa onde se permanece vivo ao todo tempo, seja pelos guardas realizando rondas ou pela vida animal presente pelo mapa inteiro, mesmo que    Assassin's Creed Origins trouxe a inovação que a franquia precisava, um jogo com um mundo extremamente rico em detalhes, tendo uma ambientação no Egito Antigo onde seja no deserto, nas montanhas ou cidades, todos possuindo um detalhamento muito bom.
    Um mapa onde se permanece vivo ao todo tempo, seja pelos guardas realizando rondas ou pela vida animal presente pelo mapa inteiro, mesmo que em algum local não tenha algum objetivo a ser realizado, a simples exploração se torna satisfatória simplesmente pela qualidade das paisagens e seus diversos biomas.
    Contento uma mudança na gameplay sendo focada mais no estilo de RPG e por mais que o combate se torne um pouco mais travado do que deveria ainda é divertido, agora referindo-se aos equipamentos, traz todo um sistema de evolução de armas, tendo a necessidade de melhora-las com o tempo, um sistema de skils e de evolução dos equipamentos pessoas, sejam eles sua bolsa ou sua hidden blade, porem referente ao parkuor, o jogo apenas nos introduz a capacidade de escalar tudo, e apenas isso, sem aspectos que nos lembre parkuor.
    A historia de AC Origins possui um enredo construtivo, nos apresentando apenas a motivação de vingança e se transformando em uma necessidade de ajudar todo o Egito, tendo uma boa divisão do que é simulação e tempos modernos, sabendo apresentar muito bem o que seria o inicio do credo dos assassinos e o que seria os Isu.    … Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. There's a reason why Assassin's Creed Origins is considered a favorite game of the Assassins Creed Franchise for many fans and people. It's because it's that GOOD! A story of pain, vengeance, betrayal, revenge, etc. It delivers a touching and beautiful, well narrated story while also being fun and entertaining. It has amazing, fun weapons and a HUGE open world. The only reason this is getting an 8/10 is because I didn't like how you could jump climb everything and not have versatile, smooth moves like Arno from Assassins Creed: Unity. Stealth was good but it was a step down from Assassins Creed: Syndicate and Unity. I thought that the rpg aspect of the game did not fit for an Assassins Creed game and the health bar and level up system never worked in my opinion. ITS SO ANNOYING. Also while I love the map, I thought that because of how big it was and empty in some locations, you could lose the flow of parkouring. I liked the crafting system but the game felt really repetitive to get those crafting materials and to level up. It may be a lot to say about Cons, but it is my favorite game in the franchise with many others and a story. I wish I forgot about so I could play it again and be shocked like on my first playthrough...… Expand

    I've stopped to play any AC game after Black Flag. I returned series with Origins and it's brilliant. All those designs, art style, characters are amazing. AC: Origins is a masterpiece of Ubisoft.

    Mission design could be better though.

    -The Gameplay - First AC to adopt this new RPG style gameplay. First time i played it was amazing, second time, it was still great, but a little outdated compared to Odyssey or Valhalla.
    -Sound and music were good and the voice actors did a great job, especially for Bayek.
    -Visually, the game look great for 2017

    The Bad:
    -Too many locations and side-quests to do and it can get a little repetitive if you want to complete 100%.    … Expand

    Also, the last part of the game dragged on quite a bit, and the "switcheroo" (I won't spoil more than that) was just cumbersome, and didn't really add anything for me.

    So a remarkably entertaining 'Creed' game, with tons of side quests (if that makes you happy). But don't expect anything really new or innovative, especially if you have played a 'Creed game before.    … Expand

    Eigentlich wollte ich mir das Spiel irgendwann mal im Sale kaufen, da ich aber einen großen Backlog hatte, habe ich immer gewartet. Nun war es im Game Pass und da musste ich es dann einfach zocken.
    Hab es dann auf der Series X mit 60 FPS gezockt.

Also, there is loot management, a skill-based tree and XP points. You'll have to level up before traveling into certain areas in the map. The setting of B.C. Mapa je toliko velika, igra dosta dugo traje, jer zahteva grind glavnog junaka za prelazak misija. Grafika je odlična, Egipat je toliko šarmantno predstavljen.     Gameplay / Mechanics - 7.4/10

    This game admittedly starts slow, which is typical of an AC game. This game can still be played stealthily, but has even more RPG style elements than the rest. The mechanics are quite a bit different than Syndicate, but they make sense. I used the second control layout so the game played more closely to Syndicate for controls.

    Please give it a chance though as the entire first 10 levels are almost all introductory style levels. I recommend gathering as much hard and soft leather and cedarwood as you can during this stage. Also do not ever sell your animal materials as they are tedious to get for later quests.

    The gameplay functions well with the story and it leads you into each section of the map bit by bit. When I first tried this game I didn't like it very much, but after trying it again and committing more time to it, I loved it. The beginning area is a bit bland, but the rest of the map is absolutely gorgeous. The missions all felt fresh and none were overly repetitive. The slightly repetitive ones were pulled together by diverse visual locations and great acting/storylines.

    The bad: sometimes the hitboxes are frustrating to the point where it will show as a headshot but not hit at all and instead alert an enemy; sometimes the movement of the character is frustrating especially climbing, but neither are to the point where it impedes on the game, and the combat is good enough where you can fight your way out of most situations. Personally I am not a big fan of Senu as I found it tedious, but he does get better later. I much prefer eagle vision in previous AC games. These games are simply too much of a pain without being able to know where the enemies all are. Flying Senu around constantly is more of a pain than anything and it doesn't make any more "sense" for realism than eagle vision did. Just give us back eagle vision please. Some of the boss fights are a bit annoying instead of being hard but I won't get into detail to avoid spoilers.

    Storyline / Characters

    No spoilers so I can't say much detail, but I found the storyline really good. I wasn't a huge fan of the ending in its entirety, but to each their own. The characters were all very well written and the acting as usual is spot-on. This was a very easy game to be fully immersed into. I appreciate Ubisoft's commitment to hiring professional voice actors.

    Visuals / Music
    Again, I was not a fan of the first area, but wow is the rest of the game striking visually. The detail was completely jaw-dropping and it was fascinating to explore. The music was very fitting and adding to the awe. The lighting, graphics, and physics, were all amazing. I HIGHLY recommend doing the Tour mode prior to the game if you aren't familiar with Ancient Egypt. If I had these games growing up I'd have taken a huge interest in history. The detail AC games have with history are always good, but they really impressed on this one.

    This very well could be a 10/10, but the ending, some mechanics, and some frustrating missions make it an 8/10.

    EDIT as of starting the beginning of the sequel and finishing both DLCs.
    Main Pros: Phylake system, bow and arrow system, gear upgrading system,

    To be able to travel throughout Egypt in 4K makes it a MUST-PLAY for anyone who enjoys exploration games. The story is not as great as other AC games but the new gameplay and combat style gives it a run for the money. One of the best games I've played in the last 3 years.

    Ich habe bereits eine Assassin's Creed Teile gespielt, doch an diesen erinnere ich mich immer wieder gern und schalte deswegen ab und zu immernoch die Konsole an, um erneut in die Welt von Bayek ab zu tauchen.
    Assassin's Creed macht es nämlich anders als alle Titel zuvor. Es versucht sich an Rollenspiel Aspekten und einen neuen grandiosen Kampfsystem, wodurch es zum ersten Mal richtig Spaß    Ich habe bereits eine Assassin's Creed Teile gespielt, doch an diesen erinnere ich mich immer wieder gern und schalte deswegen ab und zu immernoch die Konsole an, um erneut in die Welt von Bayek ab zu tauchen.
    Assassin's Creed macht es nämlich anders als alle Titel zuvor. Es versucht sich an Rollenspiel Aspekten und einen neuen grandiosen Kampfsystem, wodurch es zum ersten Mal richtig Spaß mach nicht wie ein Assassine vorzugehen. Zudem gibt es zahlreiche tolle Skills durch die im Laufe des Spiels sich einen mehr und mehr Möglichkeiten eröffnen. Doch nicht nur im neuen Kampf und Skill System setzt Origins der Reihe neue Maßstäbe, sondern auch im Historischen!
    Es macht einfach Spaß durchs spielen so viel über die Ägyptische Mythologie zu erfahren und Sachen wieder zu entdecken, die man einst in Geschichtsunterricht gelernt hat.
    Man könnte meinen das Spiel wäre perfekt, doch leider merkt man, dass es sich immernoch um ein Ubisoft Spiel handelt. Tausende Fragezeichen verteilt auf der ganzen Map, man weiß garnicht wo man Anfangen soll.
    Viele dieser Nebenmissionen und Open World Events machen echt spaß, fordern dich heraus oder erzählen eine Spannende Geschichte, aber dann gibt es noch so viele Belanglose. Rette ihn, bringe mir das und so weiter, teilst sind diese Nebenmissionen echt mühselig, darum Frage ich mich warum Ubisoft diese nicht einfach völlig rauslässt.
    Ich kann im großen und ganzen Assassin's Creed Origins nur weiter empfehlen. Es hat eine mitreißende Story und ein tolles Gameplay, auch wenn es ,wenn man sich zu sehr auf die Nebenmissionen stürzt, manchmal etwas zäh werden kann.    … Expand

I paused the game several times and just wanted to go back to it and it was really worth it, that was a hell of a lot of fun. I've done pretty much everything on the map, but a few question marks are still missing. I have to say that this was my first Assassins Creed since Black Flag, which I only played a bit, before that only part 1.

    Gameplay / Scope:

    I can hardly complain here, everything went very smoothly and was super controllable, I found the loot system and the RPG elements terrific and integrated very well. Chopping up opponents or doing everything in stealth offers simply great variance in your own mission execution.

    One or the other time there were camera difficulties, but otherwise great. The game offers an enormous amount of content and a New Game + mode.
    In addition to the side quests and story missions, I also had a lot of fun with the individual challenges in the arenas.

    Story:

    Very nicely staged and told story, which was damn awesome due to the setting. I like mythology and it all went together perfectly. The end was understandable and satisfying for me.

    The "real" story just sucks.

    Graphic:

    Great, just very strong. The world looks incredibly good and has so much to offer, you can only fall in love. In addition, the great setting, which made everything very atmospheric.

    Criticism:

    -Ingame microtransaction shop pissed me off a bit, like with other Ubisoft games. The whole thing isn't even cosmetic, it's unnecessary.
    -Accompanying this is the lack of variance in equipment cosmetics. I would have wished for much more cool skins, because the armors that could be purchased in-game were always the same in different colors. I was a little lucky and had legendary shop armor in one of the camel boxes that looked damn cool.
    -Everything outside of the Animus device was no fun at all and kept pulling me out stupid, luckily it doesn't happen that often.
    -I would have loved to have had more brutal finishing moves because they looked very cool on their own.

    Conclusion:

    Of the best games in the saga. An incredible open world full of life and points of interest, simple mechanics that works very well, an incredible character at the level of Ezio and a rather epic story.

    It could be better, but it is a good and amazing "Assassin's Creed"

    With all its ups and downs the assassin's creed series is a must-play. All games are enjoyable even though generic some times. A great inspiration for a history lover.

    Playing over 100hrs in Nightmare mode, excellent role playing game, menu interface very good, audio excellent, gameplay sometime could be frustrating but in good in overall (Blocking, Dashing etc.) . Weapons menu not so good, abilities tree very good, Story good. This game is not a perfect 10 but is not a 8, my rate on this 89 or a 9.

    Next evolutionary step in the AC Series.
    The recreated Egypt offers a massive open world, the quests and the story are really great.
    If you like historical Games and generally ancient Egypt, this game is a must play.

    I enjoyed most of the 114 hours i spent playing this assassin's creed. The first thing you sholud know before buying this game of the franchise, is that is way different to the previous ones. It's not a chage like we saw in assassin's creed black flag; it's even bigger, till the point that it looks like a brand new saga. Well, this opus is not completely freed from the Ubisoft open world syndrome but one cannot deny the amount of work put into it. Beautiful universe, interesting characters, scenarized and rewarding sidequests. It's just a bit too big for me, or at least disproportionate.     Fun AC title that finally shakes up the series blueprint. Love the new RPG mechanics as well as how they reimagined the map. The story is somewhat forgettable but when it comes to actual gameplay the series has never felt better!

    A triumphant return for Assassin's Creed! I am a little bit biased because I love Ancient Egypt, but this game was so much fun. The quests were interesting, there were cool things to explore, and every section of the map had something worth looking for. The combat was solid, and the story was fairly emotional. The animation was well made, and wow, just wow, was Egypt everything I hopedA triumphant return for Assassin's Creed!     It’s Odyssey but more condensed and better made. Just exploring Egypt this way is good value for money at today’s prices. Get the deluxe/season pass/Curse of the pharaohs DLC and you can jump to level 45 after leaving the first city/modern day mission (from loading homescreen). No need to grind after that at all. Looks amazing on Xbox One X especially

    A new style in the series and I think it is well done and there is a space for improvement.

    Gameplay Stealth kill:
    Good and adding bow style is also nice, but I wish there are will action while preforming stealth kill like in Assassin's creed unity or middle earth shadow of mordor.

    Gameplay parkour :
    Good and I like how smooth his movement and climbing any thing easily (maybe a little pit more then required). I think better to be more challenging in doing this parkour and climbing. Also I wish they made better action moves while performing parkour such as Assassin's creed unity.

    The Five level story :
    Story acting and scenarios in general are not as expected. It needs more work. Storey for those who comes before not covered or maybe a little bit covered. Current day story and abstergo a little bit covered.
    The main story of bayek is good but it needs more work to be better.
    Historical references and events are covered well. Sub stories in the world of the game are good and some are average.

    Quests level system, and upgrading system:
    Quest is good some are repeated but it's OK because Gameplay is nice. Level system I think it's fine and never bother me. I didn't required to do side quest for just increasing my level. Upgrades some are good and some are not required and it can be better. In general as most of ubisoft games it's good game that it can be better and I think it deserves 85 rating. I but put 10 to balance, because I know a lot's of unprofessional rating the game low blindly.    … Expand

    Assassin's Creed Origins doesn't feel like an AC game, in a good way. It's vast, beautiful and an excellent game. Despite having several minor issues with this installment of the AC franchise, it's in the grand scheme of things one of the best games I have ever played.

The many side-quests put me off the main storyline alot of the time, but I had to play them as otherwise it would have been impossible to get enough XP which the main quests require. However I do prefer this to, say a game which mearly takes 40 minutes to complete. Im sure most people would Enjoy this game and I rate it 9/10.… Expand

    - It had more RPG elements than I was expecting.
    - Well sized and designed game. I fully completed the map, completed all the achievements and did most of the side quests and it never felt like a chore.

    CONS:
    - I felt the protagonist was a bit uninteresting. The rest of the story was good enough though.

Also it had 2 expansions the 1st was short the 2nd was awesome. Also in the middle of their expansion release dates they added a ton of history stuff you can read and watch and learn about Egypt so i will praise them on that as it is tons of hours of learning and is amazing. I would have given this a 10 if it was a little better of a story but mainly didn't have microtransactions that were not cosmetic only as i bought the fire horse and used it the entire time so i don't mind that as that was for me and i liked it, but the non cosmetic microtransactions is why i can't give this a 10 and this game does look amazing and the fighting styles were fun.… Expand

    This game was a great buy. I was skeptical at first as I had never enjoyed assassin's creed, but honestly, this one is excellent is one of, if not the best in the entire franchise for me. If you love RPG's, buy this. Now if you want this game, but can't decide between this or Odyssey, I would say buy Origins. This game is much more grounded, but I love Egypt, so that is my opinion.

    Assasins Creed Origins is nearly the perfect game for me, the only negative things I would say is as your coming up to end of game content you are forced more and more to do side quests to level up, breaking the great momentum of the game. Other than that its definitely a game that will suck a good 70+ hours of your life away without you noticing.

    In all honesty Ubisoft have hit the ball right out of the park with AC: Origins – it's truly a magnificent addition to the line up and franchise. I just hope that they don’t rush another game out on the back of this. With the large open world and many side quests I can comfortably say I will be investing a good few days into this game as its panning out to be one of the best in the series.

    Which is good, because the setting is incredible. Ancient Egypt is majestic, spectacular, and when you realize that in the Roman era the game is set in, the pyramids are already more than one thousand years old, you can't help but feel in awe for that great country. The XBox One X really brings its wonders to life, I kept shooting photos.
    I explored all locations in the map, eagerly improved my character's skills and weapon set and thoroughly enjoyed every play session. I didn't really love the side games, i.e. the arena and chariot racing, but they are optional.
    Further improvement? I would suggest differentiating weapons even more, a la Nioh. Right now, for example, a spear behaves like a longer, slower sword, instead of the completely different weapon it actually is. Also, tone down fire a bit, it looks like Bayek walks around covered in gasoline!
    Still, for me this is an epic game and definitely worth full price.    … Expand

    I will be very honest and say that this game only succeeds in my eyes because its very much a gorgeous open world RPG like Skyrim or the Witcher 3 with slight AC elements. Th combat is fluid, the story is engaging, great skill tree and xp leveling (for this series), I felt emotionally attached to what I was doing, lots to do without the dlc and my favorite side thing is that I can explore and get items or armor than is badass where in previous games you didn't usually get the good stuff until the final chapter.

    Ubisoft has worked hard here and made stuff work for the better I feel. It is so close to perfect that I can't recommend it enough.    … Expand

    It's fine. Could be better, could be worse. I wish the frame rate was 60 fps like MGS5, but other than that it's okay. The Ezio ACs were the best in the series, after that the AC games have been mostly coasting. They've played down the Animus story line, a step in the right direction. Ubisoft, time for some innovation and 60 fps on consoles, please.

Ubisoft played well with many implementations about gameplay, the influence of the Far Cry franchise inside this game is evident, in particular the Primal one, but made in an excellent way, using the good stuff and improved to work well inside this game. Ubisoft played well with many implementations about gameplay, the influence of the Far Cry franchise inside this game is evident, in particular the Primal one, but made in an excellent way, using the good stuff and improved to work well inside this game. The storyline is not strong enough for my point of view, but has a good rythm for all the game duration, probably forced in some scenes and choices but generally good.

They tried a few new things and, while not everything worked out the way they intended, and some of the old annoyances cropped up from previous games in the franchise, this is without a doubt the best game since AC2.

    You play as Bayek, a man caught up in a situation that leads to him helping found the Brotherhood. While the story is typical AC fair at this point, Bayek is a good character, even if he never seems to be the main character throughout the story. It's hard to say much without spoiling things but I always go the feeling that he was watching from the sidelines as the things that he made happened occurred.
    Onto the gameplay now, which is the biggest change from previous games. Combat is much more articulate and requires much more patience from the player. It takes some time to figure things out, especially for long time fans of the series, but it's pretty well done. It has it's problems, especially trying to focus on one enemy at a time, even with the lock on feature. I'd give it a thumbs up from the previous games, but knowing that it can get better with the following games.
    The world is probably the best part of the game. The map is massive with a dense and robust amount of stuff to do. It helps that the time period for the game was something that was absolutely new to me, as opposed to previous games in the series that I knew alot about before going into them. The most fun I had at times was just running around and finding new stuff on the map and getting it done.
    This was a big step forward for the series as a whole for me. Getting away from the yearly releases will only help the franchise get back to that AAA destination it had been at for the longest time but had taken a step back in recent years. While I won't say that I'm fully invested in the series just yet, I know that they're on the right path with this game and I'm excited to see what they have in store for us in the future.    … Expand

    Game is pretty good, but it is TOO LARGE, TOO LONG, TOO MASSIVE. It is a lot time need to waste to complete the main storyline. It's like house-size cake you can eat at weeks, and it gots you tired and annoyed because of size.
    Don't do that please. I want to finish main quest in 20 hours and switch to another game.

    Ubisoft did a great job with this one. I am only a level 15 right now but I truly enjoy the difficulty of the game and the fact that you need to be a certain level to do certain missions on other assassins creed games you could kind of finagle your way around that with skill but in Origins its pretty much impossible to do. great game 8.7 out of 10 on my scale and best Assassins Creed game yet.

The missions are boring, she is pretty much useless, you lose everything you've spent the game building up and there is no point in it. Must have been a marketing thing.

    Same thing with the "ship" sequences. Clearly the Black Flag devs wanted to add ships. The problem is the sequences are short, the gameplay is bad and there simply is no fun in them. Checked another marketing box.

    The game advertises RPG but they completely missed what the RP stands for - role playing. Yes you level up, yes you select your abilities but it has no impact on anything. It is just a gating system that could have been left off and nothing would have been lost. Even the leveling is messed up. Supposedly you should be able to use the levels to tell the areas that are easy and those that are hard. The reality is that you'll be facing people several levels below you and they will stomp you for no reason. Some enemies seem to be able to block any attack. Others seem to never miss and do a huge amount of damage or stun you in place. The result is most battles play out the same way. The leveling system really doesn't change anything.

    The story itself is inconsistent. In 1 mission you're saving crocs for a god. In the next you're killing them for no reason. Towards the end you're on a fast pace to kill someone. Suddenly you decide to stop and bury someone for no reason. You've spent the entire game watching folks die and now you're interested in stopping your years long quest to bury somebody??

    Fortunately the modern area stuff is very limited. Since Desmond was removed it seems like they just make up new people and situations to justify adding the modern stuff in. You can quickly skip the sections and nothing will change about the story. Nobody cares anyway. The only future stuff that does get in the way is when you finish an ancient mechanism. You're then forced to endure (i.e. cannot skip) a monologue from the future that just goes on and on. I used these times to take a break, make a snack, etc. When will Ubisoft realize nobody cares about the mangled storyline they think is so important?

    Bugs continue to exist. If you leave the game running and just hibernate then most times when you return the icons don't render anymore or you get the infinite load screen. This has been partially fixed in the latest DLC but it still happens. Speaking of icons does Ubisoft not have any UI folks on staff? What genius felt that white icons on a yellow desert map was a good call. It is almost impossible to see in map mode. Black icons or being able to turn off the desert background would have easily solved this issue. Color contrasts are a UI-101 issue. Additional bugs include killing captains outside their fort and the game doesn't give you credit, enemies fighting from tops (or in tables) and graphic tearing.

    While there is no MP forced at you in this game there is still social interaction forced down your throat. I don't remember giving Ubisoft permission to record or advertise my game but if I die others can see where. If I take a picture (useless by the way) then others can see it. This is a violation of my privacy rights Ubisoft. I don't care that player X died in this spot. I'm not going to avenge them unless I accidentally click on them because you try to hide the fact that it isn't part of the single player experience. The option to completely disable recording my death or my pictures and publishing it to the world is a serious need. Privacy is under my control, not Ubisoft.

    Then we get to the elephants. Clearly this is a call back to the legendary ships of Black Flag. Nearly impossible to defeat without either a lot of time or some questionable gameplay. They are there just to show you that Ubisoft can create enemies for which the leveling system means nothing and all your abilities are useless. I was in the middle of fighting one of them (not the one that got fixed in the patch) and it auto-healed. That's 10 mins of my life I'll never get back. The reward isn't worth the effort. We'll see if they scale to the newer level limits.

    Is this better than the recent entries - yes. Is it in the top 5 of Creed games - probably. Is it in the top 3 - not by a long shot.    … Expand

    Although this is an open world RPG-style game and you can choose where and what you do next, I strongly recommend the following in order to achieve full story immersion:
    When your main quest takes you to a new region do the following:
    - Complete all the secondary quests first.
    - Complete the main mission.
    - Explore all the remaining locations in the region.
    The bad things:
    - For a time there was a major issue with the draw distance but since 2 patches ago it was mostly fixed on Xbox One X. Still, the draw distance should be increased further.
    - Audio bugs. Many NPCs would repeat the same exact thing over and over again. This is not such a big deal but when you are in a location where there's lots of NPCs it becomes too much.

    For the first time I actually wanted to beat a AC game. I typically get bored from the repetitive game play. I would recommend this game to anyone who has wanted to enjoy the AC series but have had trouble getting into it!

While the the side-quests are a great distraction that you should dive into, but they are essential to level up for the next story mission. Bayak is great and relatable. I love the look and feel of the game and ancient Egypt is amazing. TheAssassin's creed Origins is a great game.     i have played a lot of assassins creed games and the last entries into the franchise really put me off so i took some time to buy this one but i feel Origins breathes new life into the series. i wasn't overwhelmed by the map like in syndicate i felt compelled to finish this game in a week and i don't mean the main story i mean complete everything on the map and i want more. really great game.

    I give a 10 to this game because it is beautiful, gorgeous graphically amazing. So much details everywhere you turn your eyes. It is a real masterpiece even better than Witcher 3. Thank's Ubisoft to have deliver a so great games giving me the feeling to walk in Cleopatra universe.

    Don't listen to the haters. If you play this game on Xbox One X it will blow your mind. It's literally a next-gen game when playing on the X. It's one of the greatest action RPGs right after Witcher 3. A massive living world, amazing gameplay, mind-blowing graphics and attention to detail out of this world. I was skeptical before the purchase (watched tons of reviews) and now I'm the biggest fan.

    Assassins Creed won’t entirely feel like an Assassins Creed game for long time fans of the franchise but that’s not a bad thing because the game has gotten rid of a lot of the more annoying aspects of past iterations.

    The inclusion of a numbers RPG system is an interesting change and one that while may not be extremely deep, does manage to give an actual sense of progress and never feels too grindy in my humble opinion.

    The combat and parkour feel a lot smoother and offers a degree of fluidity that makes combat more engaging, the stealth aspect is still there in largely classic fashion but if you are forced to engage, it feels a lot better than in past games.

    The story in my opinion, leaves much to be desired but that’s only my opinion, the story follows our hero Bayek, the last of the Ancient Egyptian Order of Medjay who were the Elite special forces and Rangers of Ancient Egypt during the time of Cleopatra which is a fascinating period in history in which you could do so much, and while a lot of neat things are touched on, I think there were some missed opportunities, some of the side missions offer more interesting stories and spectacles at times.

    But the main draw is the incredible open world, its immersive beauty is truly something to behold, it’s amazing recreations of locations such as Hellenic Alexandria and Memphis are truly sites to behold, it’s variation is also impressive, I cannot tell you how many times I entered a new zone and was blown away almost every time because of how different and incredibly they were all realized.

    The exploration of especially Tombs throughout the world and some of the secrets they hold are intriguing and I think are very enjoyable, my only complaint here is some of the “puzzles” were a little convoluted and I am ashamed to say I had to watch some youtube guides to get through them.

    I did encounter some major frame rate drops in certain areas and massive freezes that caused quite the noise from my Xbox, however these never, once caused the game to crash or didn’t resolve themselves and only happened a handful of times, other than that, I never once, came across a game breaking bug or technical issue of any kind that adversely affected the experience.

    But all in all this is the best Assassins Creed put forward thus far, every aspect of this game gels together to create a spectacle that is both fun to play and a joy to explore, I’ve put 80+ hours into this game, I’ve got every location and 95% of the achievements and I don’t regret it for a second.    … Expand

Seems like slasher style would be a bit tough sometimes, but playing an Egyptian thief/assassin is one of the best stealth experiences I've had.Definitely my Game Of The Year 2017. Stays on par with Black Flag, with far larger and more detailed world, near perfect multi-layered side quests, decent and definitely engaging story and one of the best and most natural stealth systems. They’ve also done a great job with the mission variety in the game and I never once got bored on a mission because they made each mission matter. I was however a little disappointed with the stealth sequences in the game, and the main reason why I was disappointed is that I think they’ve made the stealth to easy this time around. The world of Egypt has been created to perfection and it’s absolutely massive so be prepated to explore quite a lot, which is great considering exploring is fun and very interesting. The story in the game is fantastic, exciting and most important of all interesting throughout, and in my opinion this is definitely one of the best story’s the series has had so far. The presentation side of the game is amazing and packed full of fantastic detail, especially when it came to the visuals. The game looks stunning and the amount of effort gone into here is really evident, and this effort makes the world come alive which is awesome. At the end of the day fans of Assassin’s Creed will be relieved to learn that the series has returned to being one of the best game’s on the market. Without a doubt this game has made me fall in love with the series again and they’ve done this by putting a lot of hard work into it. Don’t get me wrong it does still have a few problems and bugs dotted around, but I completely forgot about them because the game was so enchanting and delivered on a number of areas. Assassin’s Creed Origins has made the series come alive and matter again and in the end it gets a massive thumbs up from me.… Expand

    The best Assassin's Creed game by a mile, and maybe the best Ubisoft game. The combat is exceptional. Think Witcher 3 with more weapons (though this is not on the level of that game, but few are). The world feels as alive as any world ever, up there with GTA V, Witcher 3, and The Last of Us. Graphics are top notch. And no bugs!!!

    For me Origins is the best game in the series, a beginning of a new era for the long-running franchise. I was awestruck by how huge, varied and believable its world is and how dense it is with all sorts of appealing activities. I welcomed the completely redesigned combat system, which bids farewell to the old “press X to win” feature. Apart from various glitches and technical issues (often resulting from game’s complexity) my only serious charge against Origins is that it sets up its story poorly and fails to keep it tight.     Origins provides a much-needed change in direction for the Assassin’s Creed franchise. The range of new action-RPG elements isn’t especially innovative but they do more than enough to make the previously tired gameplay feel fresh and engaging. The world is beautiful and dense, the characters are interesting, and the story offers enough mystery and intrigue to keep players coming back before it sadly ends far too quickly. Assassin’s Creed Origins isn’t perfect, but it points to a long and healthy future for the series.
