May 15, 2018What a surprise, another mediocre AC game. Yes, the combat is more focused, along with the world they built. But the main story was so generic, and the side quests, although better than the previous games, felt repetitive. It's disappointing that this was the outcome of the extra development time.

Jun 12, 2019Great game, got a bit repetitive as it went on, but its a beautiful open world set in Egypt.

Jun 26, 2020Not a great Assassin's Creed game, but it is decent. Bayek is a bland uninteresting character, but Aya is great.

Feb 11, 2021I'm a big assassins creed fan. I've played every single game. While this game is great and I would recommend to play this game. It is kind of disappointing it feels like Assassin's creed lost their identity and stealth is a lot less important. It's a good game but not a good assassins creed game.

Nov 14, 2022The worst series of the last three, be sure to pass for show. Very bad plot and feel empty

Oct 19, 2022Pretty good game, but i disliked the rpg thing they added, not really into this part of the gameplay but the universe is pretty good. I really loved the story and i felt in ancien Egypt.

Sep 9, 2023Found Origins disappointing in terms of story and combat, but the open world is probably one of the best in gaming to experience. Combat feels clunky and not as smooth as AC Odyssey and Valhalla, and the story is really incoherent at times, especially toward the end. Bayak is cool but I could take or leave Aya.

CD-ActionJan 10, 2018For me Origins is the best game in the series, a beginning of a new era for the long-running franchise. I was awestruck by how huge, varied and believable its world is and how dense it is with all sorts of appealing activities. I welcomed the completely redesigned combat system, which bids farewell to the old “press X to win” feature. Apart from various glitches and technical issues (often resulting from game’s complexity) my only serious charge against Origins is that it sets up its story poorly and fails to keep it tight. Dec 13, 2017Origins provides a much-needed change in direction for the Assassin’s Creed franchise. The range of new action-RPG elements isn’t especially innovative but they do more than enough to make the previously tired gameplay feel fresh and engaging. The world is beautiful and dense, the characters are interesting, and the story offers enough mystery and intrigue to keep players coming back before it sadly ends far too quickly. Assassin’s Creed Origins isn’t perfect, but it points to a long and healthy future for the series.
