    Garbage game made by a garbage company. Terrible servers, weapon balancing, etc. Gameplay is boring, repetitive, and stale, and only obtains a player base due to the fact that it's a trendy, free, battle royale.

    However, that may change due to the fact that Apex is banning players for stupid reasons. If you leave a game after one of your friends disconnect because of their terrible    Garbage game made by a garbage company. Terrible servers, weapon balancing, etc. Gameplay is boring, repetitive, and stale, and only obtains a player base due to the fact that it's a trendy, free, battle royale.

    However, that may change due to the fact that Apex is banning players for stupid reasons. If you leave a game after one of your friends disconnect because of their terrible servers, you get banned. Therefore, because of the fact that a 23 billion dollar company doesn't want to spend an extra penny to make their free game playable, you are forced to either play through a game while at a huge disadvantage, or suffer the ban hammer.    … Expand

    This is easily the most fun shooter I’ve played in a while. Made by the company that consists of developers from Modern Warfare 2, the game looks and feels great. Shooting mechanics are solid as is the general gameplay. I’m giving it a 10 on here as I feel like a lot of the 0 ratings are unfair and are based solely off of the game being a battle royal game or the inclusion of LGBTThis is easily the most fun shooter I’ve played in a while. Made by the company that consists of developers from Modern Warfare 2, the game looks and feels great. Shooting mechanics are solid as is the general gameplay. I’m giving it a 10 on here as I feel like a lot of the 0 ratings are unfair and are based solely off of the game being a battle royal game or the inclusion of LGBT characters.     The game moves much faster than fortnite and is much easier to pick up and play as there isn’t a building element involved. I do have some complaints. I feel like some weapons are underpowered while others are pretty much useless (pistols mostly). Shotgun spread and damage is confusing at times.     I didn` play too much of this game,but i played enough to have a conclusion, the game is fun, the characters are very unique and fun to play in their own ways, if you always wanted a overwatch battle royale this game is definitvely for you, I never actually wanted that but well since they made it, I played it and well...It is fun, i am not going to lie but...     Wow, what a surprise, Apex Legends is the most complete multiplayer game ever to be released. Before Apex, I tried every BR and I couldn't quite get into them, I guess it just wasn't my thing. But when I first played Apex, I found sudden interest that got me hooked and I did not look back. The UI, pinging system, and communication with other players is absolutely perfect. Characters haveWow, what a surprise, Apex Legends is the most complete multiplayer game ever to be released. Before Apex, I tried every BR and I couldn't quite get into them, I guess it just wasn't my thing. But when I first played Apex, I found sudden interest that got me hooked and I did not look back. The UI, pinging system, and communication with other players is absolutely perfect. Characters have their own unique special abilities that make each one of them a blast to play. You aren't overwhelmed by what your character can do since there are typically only 3 different abilities they can use. The map is a blast and the shooting is just like titanfall. I love that they didn't implement wall running or double jumping. The casual gamer will appreciate this.
    I could go on and on about how much I love this game.

Can't make a decent matchmaking system, can't develop a decent solo queue experience, balancing changes make no sense, greedy **** scumbags, and their communication to the community does not exist.     I was a little wary of playing, yet another BR game, BUT Apex Legends has been a lot of fun! It's a bit of a unique tweak to the BR genre. Instead of just different skins, the different characters have different abilities. I enjoyed this a lot. It took some time getting used to the different things each character can do, but I feel the more I play the game the better I'll get (obviously).I was a little wary of playing, yet another BR game, BUT Apex Legends has been a lot of fun! It took some time getting used to the different things each character can do, but I feel the more I play the game the better I'll get (obviously).
    The guns all feel different and distinct. I can feel a difference between guns in the same class too. Nothing currently feels like OP, but I've only spent a few hours playing so far.
    There's a pretty big emphasis on teamwork too. Having a random order on who gets to pick their character first, dedicating a person to decide when to drop, and even having the ability to revive a character after they've been completely killed and taken out. Using pings and voice commands in game really make it easier to play with people without mics.
    Overall, I really enjoy this game. it feels different, yet familiar. It's clearly not Titanfall (i.e. no titans, or wall running), but it's a lot of fun. (Sidenote: you can run up walls by holding the jump button down) I can't wait to see what new and improved legends get released. Lastly, the game is FREE, so do yourself a favor and have fun!    … Expand

    As a Titanfall fan I was at first worried that the franchise was capitalizing on a marketing scheme instead of focus on producing a quality game. To my surprise the game feels really nice. I'm not too big of a fan of Fortnite but this game combines an appealing art style, quality maps, solid gunplay, and good game mechanics to create an enjoyable experience.     For starters some of the game mechanics are phenomenal. The game has a "ping" system where you are able to point out objects, locations and enemies with ease. This allows to play whole rounds without using a mic. Another great mechanic is the games revive system. If you were to get downed by an enemy, your teammate has the chance to revive you (like every battle royal) but If you were to get killed, your teammate can grab your tag and bring it to a revive station. BAM, you're back in the game. This adds a unique spin and I love it.

    One this that should be said is that right now you can only play as a 3 person team. I've played a good amount of games with a full squad and as solo w/ randoms. So far I've won 2 games with the squad and 1 game with just one random. Regardless, each match was fun, entertaining, and exciting. I know that they will be adding more game match options but even as it it now, its fun!

    I've player majority of the battle royal games out today and this is how I would put them into order (top being better):

    Apex Legends
    PUBG
    Fortnite
    Black Ops: Blackout
    Ark: Survival of the Fittest
    H1Z1
    Realm Royale
    The Culling

    I am excited to see where this game goes!

    I have played a few games and I must say that I really enjoyed my initial experience. There are a couple of features that I thought I wouldn't like at first but they surprised me.

    Teamwork - I was a bit disappointed to learn that there wasn't a solo mode.     Customisation - including the use of loot boxes and pay to win etc. Again really surprised, there is a small character roster, but they each weapon etc has a huge amount of skins you either pay for with the use of loot boxes or grind to unlock.

    All in all, i thought the gameplay was slick and fun and the different abilities each character has makes it fun to try a different one each time you play! Also, the fact that you take it in turns in your group to choose a character means you can work together quite efficiently!

    If you hated PUBG and played black ops 4 BR but was boring after a while, this game is your game. Fun and addictive. No construction here, so fortnite players, stay away

    Surprisingly good BR game. Well polished, fun as heck to play, and free. Yes, it has microtransactions, though they are only cosmetic at this point. Respawn has done a great job with player communication, so thats great...and avoiding announcing the game until the release date with genius.     Great game! I love the Titanfall world and thoroughly enjoy BR games so this is a hit for me. There are a few things that could be improved and microtransactions are not my favorite but overall for a free game this is an amazing game. Don't listen to the haters, try it out and make your own opinion.

    People into the BR genre will probably like it (which is why I have rated it 4 rather than 0), but I can't help but feel that Respawn is trading in their small, but dedicated fanbase in for a younger, larger, and fickle fanbase - consisting of middle schoolers and Twitch Streamers.

    I hope to see you pilots on the Frontier someday in a new Titanfall game, but for now, it's goodbye from me. I wish Respawn well in their new venture.    … Expand

    Best battle royale so far I've had a lot of fun. Keeps you engaged with the possibility to revive teammates. Awesome graphics, great mobility, great weapons. Character abilities add to the game in a positive way.

The mods auto-equipping if they are better than what you have and if you have the spot open on your weapon is just such a great feature. And when you switch weapons, it will auto-switch the mods.

    Bad features: honestly almost none. Maybe the reload time is a bit too long? (but that just encourages you to pursue extended clips and rewards those who do) And yeah, the elephant in the room is that EA owns Respawn, but they seem to have their hands out of this one unlike Anthem, which already appears to be a full-priced game with microtransactions. This game does the MTs just like Fortnite, which is totally ok in my book. You can play the game perfectly well with them and enjoy them if you get them.    … Expand

    One of the best, most balanced and well done games ever made. I wish it came out when I was younger, so I could keep up. Made by the guys that MADE the COD franchise. Of course it has the brat gun play in gaming.

    Another dull battle royale game, worse than Fortnite, and Fortnite wasn't good to begin with. Stick with Gears of War 4 or Halo 5: Guardians.

    I played battle royale games like fortnite and pubg, I recently came back to apex legends and seen the new updates heroes/ the game is not pay2win ( like fifa ) but most of the time the servers can run bad because those are EA servers ofcourse.     Apex Legends leva o excelente tiroteio de Titanfall 2, Battle Royale Mechanics de Fortnite e PUBG e o sistema de classes de Overwatch para criar uma das mais exclusivas, versáteis e robustas experiências de batalha real que o mercado atual oferece.

    É verdadeiramente um jogo que mantém você querendo jogar mais não apenas pelas caixas de saque, mas pela diversão de jogar o jogo.

    By the way, people complain about how there is no solo or duos. While duos could be nice to have, solos are out of the question. It's a team based game. What use would Lifeline's passive have? Also, some characters would be overpowered. Playing lifeline in solos is like playing Lucio in an Overwatch deathmatch.

    at first glance, apex legends appears to be another, lifeless cash grab battle royale game, however, it is perhaps the most enjoyable of the large BR games released so far. It has its fair share of issues and problems, for example; gun balancing needs to be tweaked, certain weapons are pointless whilst others are too powerful to leave behind. Some people have criticised the game for havingat first glance, apex legends appears to be another, lifeless cash grab battle royale game, however, it is perhaps the most enjoyable of the large BR games released so far. It has its fair share of issues and problems, for example; gun balancing needs to be tweaked, certain weapons are pointless whilst others are too powerful to leave behind. Some people have criticised the game for having only one map however this isn't a large issue as the CEO of Respawn has already said that new maps, weapons legends and content will release regularly and how often will depend on the popularity and playerbase. it is true that the game could use some more characters with more interesting abilities however they cant be too powerful without making the character OP. Hitboxes are also a problem as characters like gibraltar have such a large hitboxes that playing them rather than wraith or lifeline puts players at an immediate disadvantage, however it does allow for a more diverse looking cast
    The micro transactions in the game are minimal, much like overwatch they're only for cosmetics in game, not giving anyone an unfair advantage. The gameplay is a perfect mix between the fast placed gameplay of fortnite but with the more realistic, gritty gunplay of PUBG. For anyone that put a few hours into titanfall or its sequal, the gameplay will feel familiar except of course for the pilots jump pack. The biggest stand out differance in this game seems to be the respawn points (that fornite quickly pinched) that makes the game feel less like a BR as you can bring less fortunate players back from the dead to re-loot, or die again blocking bullets for you.

    overall, i think titanfall is one of the best FPS games that have been released recently. Respawn have made great games before with the titanfall series that have gone unnoticed by many however Apex has received the attention it deserves. For anyone that isn't tired of the battle royale genre this game is a must play, and anyone that hasn't should still give it a try, and maybe their love for the genre will reappear.    … Expand

    My experience with the game hasnt been the best as none of my friends have downloaded it. I acknowledge that its definitely better playing with friends than on your own with a random squad but although i believe that its better than fortnite i still prefer games of the likes of PUBG.     Apex brought a different play style to the battleground format, involving unique hero abilities that gave a new fresh look to the at this time worn out genre. This game excels at shooting mechanics, and overall movement mechanics including sliding. This battlegrounds format makes for a fast game than can be finished in 15-20 minutes, which is different from the longer PUBG games.

Lo otro se dijo que respawn había trabajado en el desastroso sonido del juego en la segunda temporada, pues noticia, no hicieron un carajo, promesas sin cumplir el sonido del juego sigue siendo una basura, los pasos de los enemigos solo se hacen escuchar cuando están literalmente a 5 cm de ti, solo ahí los escuchas y cuando eso pasa ya estas muerto, o sea que frustrante, no es divertido, ademas no se distingue la profundidad de los pasos, es decir, no sabes si están dentro de una casa, en el primer piso, segundo piso, en el mismo sector que tu, no se sabe suenan iguales los pasos, y ya me ah pasado muchas veces y tengo buenos audífonos para escuchar pero el problema es bastante jodido. Lo siguiente es que los hit o los daños de balas me parecen demasiado aleatorios, a veces dan otras no, tu ves que tus disparos llegan pero no hacen hit y claro como parece que respawn le otorga invencibilidad a los enemigos o es lo que me hace parecer a mi, ellos pueden fallarte los tiros o dispararte de frente mientras tu saltas al lado de ellos y las balas te harán hit igual aunque tu veas que no hacen hit te llegaran igual. En base a la movilidad, eh visto tanto que dicen que la movilidad es excepcional, si con eso se refieren al deslizarce, pues déjenme decirles que no, el juego no es lo suficientemente móvil, en cambio el doom es un juego que yo puedo considerar móvil por el hecho de que en dicho juego tu te puedes desplazar con normalidad recibiendo disparos o no, tu velocidad, tu aceleración no se ve afectada, entonces te puedes desplazar con normalidad, tus saltos son siempre constantes, es decir, si apretas varias veces el saltar en el doom, el personaje saltara de la misma forma, llegara a la misma altura siempre que apretes el botón, siendo no el caso de apex, donde cada salto consecutivo es mas débil que el primero, siendo el primero el salto mas fuerte y los siguientes mas débiles, por lo que alcanzas menor altura, en base al movimiento, personaje debe acelerar lo que se demora 1.5 seg en acelerar, agarrar velocidad y ahí recién poder deslizarte a una distancia "prudente", y si ya de por si las balas de las armas te ralentizan, y si ya debes acelerar para poder tener una velocidad a la cual poder esquivar, si ya tu enemigo te aplica debuffos, como pretendes poder esquivar con normalidad y con esta "supuesta fluidez" de la que todos hablan? no se puede, apex no es fluido, de ser así, el personaje correría normal le disparen o no y no necesitaría un tiempo para acelerar y agarrar velocidad, debería poder moverse con total libertad y esquivar a la misma velocidad y saltar y alcanzar la misma altura te disparen o no. Lo otro, no comparen apex con titanfall, no son iguales ni por lejos, en titanfall, te mueves con libertad, caminas por las paredes, tienes doble salto y ademas el gancho donde en el multijugador todos poseen la misma capacidad de outplayarce, en apex no es el caso, solo un personaje tiene gancho para poder llegar a lugares alto y tener una movilidad mas decente que el resto, no hay doble salto, no se puede caminar por las paredes, la escalada de estructuras de los personaje es lenta y te deja muy vendido. La zona o el anilo de apex es ridículo, en primera el mapa de apex es bastante grande como para que el anillo se vaya cerrando gradualmente y te de la posibilidad de explorar en busca de botin o de buscar una forma de flanquear al enemigo o asegurar una zona o encontrar un lugar para esconderte, pero no es el caso, el anillo se cierra demasiado rápido en la primera fase, solo 3 minutos de los cuales con suerte alcanzas a lootear algo y si te vas a las zonas de mayor loot "supuestamente" que están a los extremos del mapa, una vez se cierra el anillo, con suerte te da tiempo a llegar por que el anillo siempre se va a cerra en un extremo y en la segunda fase se cierra el 65 o 70% del anillo o sea es ridículo, cuando debería cerrarse gradualmente y solo ya llegando al final el anillo se cierra gradual, ademas del daño insano que hace en la primera fase, prácticamente te saca mas de la mitad de la vida en unos 10 segundos?. Por ultimo la distribución de loot es pésima, lugares que están catalogados como botín de nivel alto con suerte encuentras armas decentes, accesorios y armaduras que valgan la pena, y por lo general en una misma zona puedes encontrar la misma arma repetida 5 veces o 3 armaduras del mismo nivel que nunca serán las mejores de nivel 2 o 3 o incluso 4, sino 3 a 4 armaduras de nivel 1 en una zona o solo munición o solo accesorios, entonces el loot esta muy mal distribuido hasta incluso puede que con suerte encuentras 2 o 3 intems en una casa. En resumen no es mal juego pero le falta mucho desarrollo.… Expand

Eh jugado desde la temporada 1 a la actual y mi conclusión es que respawn hizo mal al dedicarce a hacer un juego online que nunca van a terminar, y que con cada temporada queda peor, el juego sigue con bugs, errores como el sonido, la profundidad del mismo, la interferencia del sonido ambiental que es molesto, los pasos que no se escuchan, los tipo que caminan invisible y que no puedes escucharlos, los pasos que no se diferencian de lejos o cerca por que suenan igual, el lag, la desconexion del server que ocurre el 90% de las veces, el desequilibrio de armas y armaduras que meten mucho, demasiado diría yo y/o armaduras que aguantan o se ve que aguantan más de lo que deberían, la distribución de loot que sigue siendo pésima, mucha armadura blanca, mucha pistola inútil y poco de armas decentes, buenas armaduras y accesorios, la no rotación de mapas, sino quieren dejar que se puedan elegir mapas, rotenlos entonces, a mi el nuevo mapa no me gusta nada, king canyon era bastante decente y a la vista cómodo, no demasiado iluminado y con suficiente espacio y cobertura justa, este nuevo tiene demasiadas cosas, mucho edificio, mucho espacio cerrado, montañas con demasiados espacios para ocultarte, la iluminación y efectos de este mapa molestan la vista al menos para mi, el gunplay es algo divertido, pero no me convence, las gunfights son menos fluidas, debido a que la carrera de hace lenta en un combate, las balas ralentiza son, los saltos son bastante pobres a la hora de esquivar y no se siente divertido moverte todo el rato y aún así morir por que el movimiento se siente muy lento, todo esto desde la perspectiva de consola xbox one, creo que en pc se ve mucho mejor y el gunplay es un poco mejor elaborado, la senbilidad en xbox es malisima, eh probado muchas configuraciones y no me sienta cómoda ninguna sola, eh probado de todo pero no hay comodidad, no me siento bien jugando, o es muy lento o muy rápido, no existe un término medio. El hit registration es lo más molesto de este juego, muchas balas que deberían llegar no llegan al objetivo y bueno yo me tengo que joder, por que el esfuerzo que hago es inútil, y bueno creo que las compañías de juegos de hoy en día les importa una mierda hacer algo bien, ya que se la sudan literalmente, en vez de poner esfuerzo en desarrollar algo terminado, se esfuerzan por hacer algo incompleto con actualización ni siquiera mensuales, anuales de echo, y que uno espera que la actualización valga pena y terminan actualizando bug y errores que poco relevantes son, esta es mi opinión referido al juego en consola xbox one.… Expand

    Apex is an extremely fun game that you should definitely install if you haven't already. The characters are extremely well done and unique and there will definitely be a legend for you. My favorite BR game for sure. Also the BR game with the most lore.

    As usual for BR games, you    This is a Battle Royale game done right for what it is. BR games have a high amount of competition and a lot of the negative reviews might be from people that either genuinely hate BR games, which I understand, and people playing other BR games like Warzone or Fortnite. Began playing the game since Season 1 and it improves more and more up until now (Season 8).

    As usual for BR games, you and either 1 or two partners drop into one of three rotating maps with 57 other players. You land, loot, kill, loot, kill, until you're the last one alive, pressured by the closing Ring that does increasing damage with each round A lot of features are done right. A player is assigned the Jump Master that their partners stick with when they start dropping, with the choice of splitting off or dropping solo. The Ping system is very well designed, telling your teammates where you're going, attacking, looting, defending, and many other pinging features like asking for ammo or attachments. The weapons are well balanced, though not perfect. The meta weapons right now being the Spitfire and R-99.

    There's 16 legends to choose from, all with their own Passive, Tactical and Ultimate abilities. They all are diverse, including a non-binary Bloodhound and a gay Gibraltar. You'll grow to love these Legends as they communicate to eachother with special character-specific dialogue. There's also a series of comics each season that you can read, which explores specific legends in detail The maps are great,from the classic King's Canyon to the polar World's Edge to the massive but beautiful Olympus. Unfortunately the game is plagued with bugs and glitches that don't fully destroy the game but prevent me from giving it a 10, alongside their unpredictable servers. There's also skill based matchmaking in both public matches AND Ranked modes, which might make your gaming experience exhausting and difficult to improve overtime.

    Otherwise, if you're into Battle Royales, absolutely give the game a try. If not, I'd still suggest a playthrough or two. After all, it's free.    … Expand

    The game has multiple bugs. Im not sure if its like this for anyone else but i can rarely find a match with people im constantly tossed into solo matches. Yes my auto fill is on but still no teammates. And its not like oh okay one or two games are like this, no every game does this i get one or two players a day if im lucky. If this somehow reachs ea games then please fix

    Pretty fun with friends and switch between BR and Arena is so refreshing and amazing.

    It's a fun game with lots to do. Events come and go all the time which adds new things. You can play with friends and get in games really quick. It's free and includes battle royal and arena,unlike some games where you have to buy them seperately(Cod cold War). Overall, it's a really good game and you should play it.

    Best movement for fps. The lore behind the characters is great! Grinding ranked solo can be tough but rewarding.

    Amazing the only problem is they need to make hero abilities more distinctive and more free heroes and needs more maps and a solo. Sometimes I just wanna play by myself and not have to work with a team all the time.

    Apex Legends is without a doubt a fantastic game. It may be lacking a solo or duo option, and it may have a few very niggling issues, but all-in-all it’s a fantastic addition to the Battle Royale genre.

    Taken as a finished product, Apex Legends feels like the Battle Royale craze growing up. The possibility of new modes and options to be added is an enticing prospect, but what is here is well worth the asking price. That asking price, of course, is free – and Respawn should be commended for its risky approach to a rapidly oversaturated market. Apex Legends is an excellent shooter, and an excellent Battle Royale title.
