Many games experience 'launch issues' when first released and APB Reloaded is no exception. There are many positives to this game, but only time will tell if it is worth sticking with. If you can get past the lengthy load times, some minor glitches and somewhat of a learning curve, this game can be fun to play.

Graphics
-The graphics of the game are on par with other games, however I've found that some items rendering in the distance show up later than they should. (For example when driving down the road and a car appears in front of you).
-I have seen some level of flicker on some polygons, but this isn't common and easy to get past.
Concept / Gameplay
-The concept behind the game is great and I love the idea of what Reloaded has in place, however after 3 hours of play, I find the missions to be redundant.
-The game isn't as intuitive as it could be. I see many players are unaware of the "Set To Ready" state and run around shooting each other (which has no effect until you are "Ready").
-Character customization is extremely variable (almost too many options) - with many combinations of clothes, cars, etc..however having to run around a social district/mini city to do these customizations is too time consuming and takes you away from all the action.
-For me, upselling for in game purchases is annoying. I'm still trying to figure out how to purchase additional weapons/cars and if this requires real money or the cash you earn in the game.
-The email concept is also a little cumbersome. You sometimes receive lengthy emails that aren't worth receiving.
Connectivity/Networking
-This may have been part of the launch experience, but I have had instances of extreme lag, inability to connect to server/district, and slow response while driving cars...this might possibly be performance and not networking, but hard to tell.
-Matchmaking works, but I have had some cases where I am a team of 1 awaiting others to join or in a situation of me against 3 others.
Controls
-As mentioned, the driving can be challenging. The steering isn't as responsive (even at lower speeds) and the button configuration takes some getting used to. Climbing ladders and/or jumping over walls takes some getting used to.
-Navigating throughout the menus of the game is a little cumbersome.
Stability
-The game has crashed 3 times for me. On average that is 1 time per hour of play. A little frustrating to be in a mission and get booted out of the game. Not wanting to sit through the load times again, I have quit for the day.
-Outside of those crashes the game has been good.
Summary
-While the overall concept of the game is compelling and great, I found myself frustrated with a number of aspects of this game as noted above. I will continue to give it a chance, but worry this game falls subject to the potential reliance of in-app purchases to excel. It is my hope Reloaded can fix some of these glitches and make the game better over time. I would encourage folks to wait a little bit to give them time to address some of the issues/feedback.… Expand
