Character creation is one of the best I've experienced in a mmog, graphics are decent but framerate and lag issues are hard to digest.
Also, missions aren't well clear enough for anyone who's not really familiar with previous versions of the game; tutorials help but... not much.
There's seem to some problem with mechanics currently because aiming and shooting does really little damage

There's seem to some problem with mechanics currently because aiming and shooting does really little damage (and I mean it, several headshots couldn't take down a single enemy)

Lag gets really bitter when you drive a car, maybe because game consider you're moving a scene object instead of just yourself. Even so, it's seems something is definitely broken here.

Good thing this is a free game, but throwing a "beta" along the name would've fit for a better excuse.
This game isn't ready, no doubt about it. But has potential.

This game made my xbox blow up. Twice. At the same time. I need 150 characters, but I'm out of things to say. 12 to go! Just 3 now! Yay, I'm over 150!

I PURCHASED this game for pre-order before it was ever released on PC and if anyone else remembers it went down after a month or so only to be re released as Reloaded. FYI... They never compensated most of us for taking 60+ dollars and then failing to deliver... That being said the Xbox One version seems to be very much the same as it was beforehand with some minor fixes. However It does seems to disconnect many people randomly and suffer from general instability. This unique game has/had great potential from it's customization and game-play but turned into a porous CASH GRAB. It's worth a cursory glance but please do not waste you're time or money on this ptw cash grabbing game :( Oh what could have been APB. RIP 2010 Expand

Many games experience 'launch issues' when first released and APB Reloaded is no exception. There are many positives to this game, but only time will tell if it is worth sticking with. If you can get past the lengthy load times, some minor glitches and somewhat of a learning curve, this game can be fun to play.

Graphics -The graphics of the game are on par with other games, however

If you can get past the lengthy load times, some minor glitches and somewhat of a learning curve, this game can be fun to play.

    Graphics
-The graphics of the game are on par with other games, however I've found that some items rendering in the distance show up later than they should. (For example when driving down the road and a car appears in front of you).
-I have seen some level of flicker on some polygons, but this isn't common and easy to get past.

    Concept / Gameplay
-The concept behind the game is great and I love the idea of what Reloaded has in place, however after 3 hours of play, I find the missions to be redundant.
-The game isn't as intuitive as it could be. I see many players are unaware of the "Set To Ready" state and run around shooting each other (which has no effect until you are "Ready").
-Character customization is extremely variable (almost too many options) - with many combinations of clothes, cars, etc..however having to run around a social district/mini city to do these customizations is too time consuming and takes you away from all the action.
-For me, upselling for in game purchases is annoying. I'm still trying to figure out how to purchase additional weapons/cars and if this requires real money or the cash you earn in the game.
-The email concept is also a little cumbersome. You sometimes receive lengthy emails that aren't worth receiving.

    Connectivity/Networking
-This may have been part of the launch experience, but I have had instances of extreme lag, inability to connect to server/district, and slow response while driving cars...this might possibly be performance and not networking, but hard to tell.
-Matchmaking works, but I have had some cases where I am a team of 1 awaiting others to join or in a situation of me against 3 others.

    Controls
-As mentioned, the driving can be challenging. The steering isn't as responsive (even at lower speeds) and the button configuration takes some getting used to. Climbing ladders and/or jumping over walls takes some getting used to.
-Navigating throughout the menus of the game is a little cumbersome.

    Stability
-The game has crashed 3 times for me. On average that is 1 time per hour of play. A little frustrating to be in a mission and get booted out of the game. Not wanting to sit through the load times again, I have quit for the day.
-Outside of those crashes the game has been good.

    Summary
-While the overall concept of the game is compelling and great, I found myself frustrated with a number of aspects of this game as noted above. I will continue to give it a chance, but worry this game falls subject to the potential reliance of in-app purchases to excel. It is my hope Reloaded can fix some of these glitches and make the game better over time. I would encourage folks to wait a little bit to give them time to address some of the issues/feedback.

This game has tons of potential but sadly, g1 doesnt care about it.
It has extreme fps drops whenever something changes. If you change your weapon, car or clothes, you might encounter fps drops to the point it gets unplayable. Many cars and rapid firing weapons cause the same issue at the worst time imaginable. Your console will shut down the game by itself, mostly when you are about to

The EU servers are empty with a maximum playercount of maybe 40 players overall, while the us servers are crammed with people in every instance. too bad for eu players, the game will lag even more on us and you might have to battle with connectivity too.
Besides its poor performance, another thing are micro-transactions. They are extremely overpriced but not p2w. The marketplace offers mostly reskins or ingame guns to look different or fully slotted weapons, either empty so you can mod them yourself with the stuff you get ingame, or fully modded so you dont have to worry about how to get these weapon mods, but they are never a perfect gun, at least one of the mods usually is useless or a hughe downside. there are some guns who are unique to the marketplace, but 90% of them have a huge disadvantage so nobody would ever use them. Alternatively, you can buy and test nearly every moneyweapon ingame, without spending real money. Cars are the same but most of them can be bought ingame after some playtime. so buying stuff with real money doesnt give you any advantage over free to play, except for a better start in the game and not necessary needing to rent weapons or worry whee to get specific weapon XYZ with mod ABC.
If they ever fix the Game, it would be a solid game with hours of fun and a diverse community. until then, i advise everyone to might take a look at own risk.

The notion that someone could take the time-tested game concept of "cops and robbers" and botch it seems unlikely, but "APB: Reloaded" proves that is can be done. The controls are unresponsive at key points. When driving I experienced an abnormal amount of lag, even running a optimized 300/65 Mbps connection. Visually the game is subpar, and the sound doesn't do the game any favors either. The notion that someone could take the time-tested game concept of "cops and robbers" and botch it seems unlikely, but "APB: Reloaded" proves that is can be done. Visually the game is subpar, and the sound doesn't do the game any favors either. The normal free-to-play microtransactions are overpriced and the purchasable content really takes the game out of the free-to-play realm and plants it into the pay-to-win category. "Apb: Reloaded" will obviously have it's fans who will be willing to spend money, but that group will likely be filled with gamers that do not have a problem spending three times as much money on pay-to-win content than a regular AAA title (it does have a $200 in-game currency option), and fans of the PC game who will look over the game's glaring problems because this version is only slightly better than the PC iteration. BUt even those two groups may never find their place in the "APB: Reloaded" world if the servers are not fixed to where connection can take over two hours after character creation. Expand

This game is a mess. It runs most of the time at 15-20 fps. The graphics are dated and also the world is boring and textured take forever to load. The only good part is character creation

I strongly disagree with GMRlife's review. I have yet to have a single problem with the controls, and while the audio of the game may be less than reputable, the picture is astonishing for a game meant for PC(on my video settings, at least). It should also be noted that I have not spent a penny on the game itself, and my overall experience has been one of satisfaction. The story isI strongly disagree with GMRlife's review. The story is entertaining; all mission-giving NPCs have an entertaining backstory, and no two NPCs give the same missions.
In terms of negatives, I have found very few. At first, I did not understand the controls at all. They are a bit hard to pick up. I didn't know how other players were customizing their character. Until I figured out how to enter the lobby in game I was, like a noob, closing the game and restarting it to go to the customization/chat place. The audio can get a bit annoying, especially during loading screens, but they usually do not take that long.
    Overall, a great game.

Great character customization but it lags like hell on the xbox one! It needs to be optimized way better than it is now. Great story and all that. This can be a great game if they optimize it.

It is nice to see and experience the base of what was supposed to be one of the best games ever but its bad although its been made free. The graphics have of course not aged well while the gameplay is stale with very few players still playing. It would be nice if there was a campaign to go with it like it happens with gta but thats not the cace.

As the gaming industry's Necronomicon, APB ruins the existence of any publisher unlucky enough to receive it. Little Orbit should just execute this abortion-bait so that its profane life can finally be put to an end and everyone that has ever worked on it may be free from the chains this wretched thing has forced upon them.

APB is simultaneously the clunkiest and most slippery controlled game available on the market; on-foot controls are so stiff that you already need a modded controller to get an experience even close to bearable, in-vehicle controls are so touchy that one slight shift left will cause you to make a sharp left turn into a wall.

Don't bother with this trash, the publishers clearly don't want to either.

APB: Reloaded is a bit underrated. Sure, it´s not a Grand Theft Auto V, but who cares. Nearly every action game is bad in comparison to GTA. The character creator is great, the driving feels good and the action is fast. The major problems are the mediocre graphics and it lags a bit on the Xbox. Overall rating: 4.8.
