Dec 6, 2022Animal Shelter Simulator is a fun but simple simulation title. With basic mechanics and repetitive gameplay, this won't test veteran gamers. However, I enjoyed its casual approach and the cute pets.

Dec 8, 2022As for a recommendation, I can’t give you one as I wouldn’t buy Animal Shelter Simulator after experiencing it. I would give it another try if they worked on the user experience more, fixed the bugs and seemingly big glitches that make it unplayable. I feel like they missed the mark on this one and it’s disappointing. This concept I could see gamers of all ages enjoying, and I personally love this genre for their relaxed vibes. I was looking forward to matching animals with people, sending them off to their new homes and expanding my shelter to be a mega shelter, but I think I’m going to lock this one up and move on with my next venture.

Nov 30, 2022We expected to have our heartstrings tugged like we were playing a John Lewis advert. By the end of Animal Shelter Simulator, we were yawning in the destitute cats and dogs’ faces.

Jan 3, 2023It is rare to test a game that manages the feat of failing on all aspects. While offering us a borderline playable experience due to its many glitches it ALSO conveys a morally questionable message despite its good initial intentions. It turns out that Animal Shelter Simulator manages to do this non-sense with absurd brilliancy and a rare kind of talent. Everything within it is messed up in a sort of consistent way that borders on perfection.
