Much of the enjoyment is spoilt by the camera sensitivity, enemy spawns and save points, and all that combined just means it is too frustrating to play for any length of time. I can well imagine this game working perfectly in VR, but for the humble Xbox console it still needs some work.

While the game me a feeling of slenderman or amnesia graphics back in the old days it was a poor comparison. The only highlight I can give this game is that it does offer a rather heart racing playstyle. The flashlight your given doesnt last long and it was hard to find more. Plus the jumpscares were perfectly placed at the most random times so it did scare me a few moments. The monster was able to be seen running across rooms just out the corner of your eyes making you panicfurther. The mechanics were very flawed sadly and not smooth at all. The flashlight should have had a recharging timer on it but once it was dead it was dead and sometimes you couldnt turn it off so even when it wasnt needed you still used it up. I didnt care for the music itself I felt it wasnt matching the tempo of the game. I did freakout a few times when I saw the monster and then the batteries would die and I was left in the dark trying to figure out where to go. Because of the darkness it took away from the game I feel. It still should have been able to navigate kn the dark a bit but this dodnt really allow it. Plus I'm no fan of agaame that wants access to your personal data and then continues to ask while you play. that's just sketchy. Gladly you could still play even when saying no. It was an okay game but not what I hoped for. Expand
