Aery - Sky Castle on the Xbox One is - mostly - a chilled experience, well-suited to casuals and younger players, or just for a moment of calm. Kick back, put the slippers on the table, and soar around some appealing levels. Aery is at its best when it’s in this simulation mode, tossing away traditional objectives and letting you fly. Unfortunately it doesn’t quite last, and the collect-a-thons that come afterwards have real feedback issues.

This is a story driven relaxing flight simulator where you fly around amazing environments as a parrot. You have no acceleration control, but you can pitch, bank, and even barrel roll as you explore the shattered worlds in search of feathers, and wisps that spark along the story. The more you find the more complete the castle at the edge of your map, until finally you explore it. With incredibly beautiful visages made serene by the incredible ambient music and sounds, like the former games the overall experience is simply zen, but didn't feel as deep as the prior entry in the series. Fans of the former titles will be just as pleased here. Expand
