    Adventure Time Finn and Jakes Investigations is a better game than I ever expected. It’s a bold move to take a franchise that has as many kid fans as adults and make it a point and click title. Some simply have no patience to solve puzzles or explore and listen to every bit of dialog.

    Adventure Time: Finn & Jake Investigations is eventually a Sherlock Holmes game with an Adventure Time skin and dialect (Algabraic!”), but that is quite okay by me. The finnicky issues that arose did little to take away from how whimsical the game is. The story? Great. The graphics? Great? The sound? Mathematical!

    Adventure Time returns with a quite simple adventure, but interesting and well-adapted at the same time. There's many things they could do to make it more engaging, but it seems to be heading in the right direction.

    If you're a fan of adventure gaming, pointing and clicking through puzzles and looking for clues, Investigations is a respectable callback to that era and whose fault might be in leaving the IP's younger fans behind. If you're a fan of the series, it's an inelegant trip into the peculiar land of Ooo that saves itself by adoring the series as much as the fans who might play it.

    While Adventure Time: Finn and Jake Investigations doesn't commit any felonies, a series of misdemeanors suggest you should approach with some caution. Exploring the Land of Ooo, seeing familiar locations in three dimensions, and interacting with the whimsical cast of characters will delight the most-invested fans of the series.

    Even with the interesting structure, solid voice work and well written script, fans should be aware that, despite a handful of positives, this is yet another let down for those waiting for a video game interpretation worthy of the fantastic source material upon which it is based.

    It's great for what it is. The graphics are pretty good, the story while short is hood enough and the puzzles, while tedious sometimes are great
