    A nice short game, that can be a nice palate-cleanser between much longer and meatier games. You can most likely finish it in an hour or so, but that feels like an hour well spent. You can probably stretch the game time by searching for all the collectibles and little things that you can find around the map.

    A short story with a nice style. However, the story itself does not make an impact and the structure of the game feels like an adventure that is constantly interrupted by shortages of supplies. Nevertheless, achieving your goal feels satisfying. It is a nice story for in between other games.

    This is such a cute, relaxing little game. Really enjoyed just exploring by and talking to and helping people. It only takes a couple of hours to complete but I’d definitely recommend it if you’re looking for something chilled to play.

    A great little game. My only complaint is the menus and the slight tedium that comes with navigating stuff like your inventory. Even then it's not terrible, it just could be smoother. Doesn't take away from the game and I still enjoyed my time with it quite a lot.

    beautiful story and sad but boy does the gameplay show itself. It is actually fun considering the time you can beat it.

    It may be a bit presumptuous of me to give this game a 10. However I think when you look at something critically it's important not to compare apples to oranges. When you read the title and see the key art for this game you know exactly what it's going to be, and A Short Hike delivers.

    You know those cheap and cheerful games that play better than many Triple-A offerings? A Short Hike is one of those games. It’s an experience that will put a smile on your face and even though it’s not particularly lengthy, it's one that comes across as the perfect length for the asking price.

    A Short Hike exceeds expectations. When you need a game that let’s you peacefully escape, look for A Short Hike. When you need a game to cleanse the palate, look for A Short Hike. I cannot recommend A Short Hike enough!

    A Short Hike is a wonderfully chill little game that can easily be finished in the space of an afternoon, combining clever traversal mechanics with a lo-fi visual style and a very relatable protagonist. If you’ve got a couple of hours to kill over a weekend, or after a stressful day of work, A Short Hike is an easy recommendation.
