    this game is only worth getting if, A. you want to be an actor and B. you are into parties with friends and you are up for a laugh. there is nothing wrong with yoostar 2 but its not the type of game you can play by yourself without getting bored after 10 mins. its great that it uses real movie footage and with kinect it improves on In the movies which it's similar to.

    So I purchased this in December of ... 2018!!! Because it sounded fun. And I thought my basically adopted daughters (5, 7, 8) could bone up on their drama club abilities. AND SO FAR THEY LOVE IT!

    Granted, it's the first day. And, yeah, I can see it getting old. But for the whopping $3 I paid for it, it's been a blast -- even for me (46) and my fiancee (29). I'm monitoring what    So I purchased this in December of ... 2018!!! Because it sounded fun. And I thought my basically adopted daughters (5, 7, 8) could bone up on their drama club abilities. AND SO FAR THEY LOVE IT!

    I'm monitoring what scenes the girls can do but they don't really understand the sexual innuendo in some of the PG-13+ stuff anyway.

    It's been fun. Yeah, the Kinect 360 isn't the best controller. It's got its issues. But this game, it's been fun. I'm happy I bought it.

    I'm giving it a 6. I wish I could give it a 6.5 ... or even a 7, but, yeah, I understand the replay value only goes so far. Could be fun for parties though ...    … Expand

    The game can be fun, but it's strictly a multiplayer affair, and it needs more meat. As it stands, it feels a bit like the publishers' way to lead owners into a world of endless microtransactions.

    Yoostar 2 had the potential to be a solid, if not downright innovative, party game. Unfortunately, technical issues derailed it before it could even get going, as the game is barely playable out of the box and makes the effort far outweigh the enjoyment.

    Yoostar doesn't so much put you in the movies as put you next to a mangled clip of the movies. [June 2011, p.89]
