There's zero excuse for the criminal lack of multiplayer, however, especially for the price point. [June 2013, p.75]

    It’s a sort of realistic Micro Machines – a good idea, but executed poorly. [CD-Action 05/2013, p.79]
  3. With a bit of fine-tuning, Powerslide could be a championship contender. As it stands, it's still a few tweaks away from being truly race-ready.

For all the shortcomings of WRC Powerslide, nothing stings so much as the absence of a split-screen local multiplayer mode.

The last Milestone's work is indeed one of the most entertaining arcade racing experiences in recent years, and if you have a few friends with whom to share the experience online via PlayStation Network or Xbox Live, the purchase is recommended without hesitation.

The worst, most persistent problem is the ridiculous and unalterable helicopter-style chase view, which lazily swoops from side to side as you tear through each turn.

Milestone dishes up a spin-off of the WRC simulation saga that differs a lot from what we found in the original. WRC Powerslide is a fun arcade racing title with a very simple control scheme and several power ups to use in-game.

WRC Powerslide is a good spin-off. The easy gameplay will enjoy you since the first race, better in multiplayer. A great Italian product.

The cars handle like a dream and sliding around the hairpins is really fun. my advice BUY THIS GAME, a whole lot of good game for £10 Full Review »

    WRC powerslide

One of the most exciting (or I can say, most spectacular) four-wheel motor sport event today is the rally world championship. Thanks to the previous generation consoles and Milestone Studio, we had a lot of WRC games, the quality of which was not verdeste with the same star, but with the "soda go away" category. In March 2013, a developer / publishing company decided to launch a lighter, more favorable rally model, my test subject, WRC Powerslide. So with a formal official license and all known pilots, machines, and tracks, he added a hint of Mario Kart-the take-up form of the survey and the repetitive isometric view that applied the visual world. And what became the outcome of this bizarre cocktail? Well, let's see...In contrast to the big brother, it is surprisingly no problem, except for one thing, but I'll say it later. The trails and the enviroment's workmanship are pleasing, and the snowy-ice monte carlo asphalt strips glisten sparkle on the glaciers, on the slopes of Portugal, etc. ... The development of cars is also quite detailed in my opinion, cars are well depreciated. I have a minor problem, which is not really about the visual world but the gameplay. Namely: the names of the competitors displayed above the verules are displayed with the same letters as the Bumford, which sometimes appear in the curves of the track. The steering of the vehicles is a simple one (with the usual: left hand control the car, right trigger: gas, left trigger: brake, B / O button handbrake), their behavior is fine, maybe even lifelike. some work will go to the brains and the ear canal of the brilliant. Action: Well, here is the duality, because we can decide whether to stop the collisions and pick up / use the powerups. The last trumpet holds up to six of us, for example. we can break the dust cloud into the face of our rivals (we can start four at the same time in the races, not mentioned before), snowstorm, a kind of "rage state of ours, etc.".If the game options are set to OFF, the game will lose acid-pepper and a single WRC game function. In my state, however, in my humble opinion, there is little challenge to find fun in the long run. Overall, therefore:

    Graphics: 8
    Music / Sound: 7
    Warranty: 7
    playability: 7
    mood: 6

If you like the lighter-sounding arcade racing in a rally dress, with buddies or online multi, do a try. But if you're looking for a more serious challenge, forget it.
