    All in all, for five dollars, you can easily have a fun time with World Gone Sour. Sure, it is a glorified commercial for Sour Patch Kids, but that doesn't stop it from being rather enjoyable. It's a competent little platformer that you and a friend on the couch can enjoy. The style is great, and the narrator is legitimately funny at times. Give it a shot.

    If you are a fan of platforming titles then you really should play this game. Don't let it slip under your radar and be sure to be careful the next time you are eating candy…unless you want to deal with evil, deranged candy out to get you.

    Is World Gone Sour worth the 400 MS point price that Capcom is asking? Yes and no. While the controls, graphics, and sound are all marginal at best there is still something sadistically enjoyable about watching computer animated Sour Patch Kids get dismembered and impaled on various traps.

    The worlds are fun to explore and navigation captures the right balance between challenging and doable. Checkpoints are generous and things you've already killed or collected stay that way so backtracking isn't an issue.

    World Gone Sour is a fun little game with a few surprises and flaws. However, for $5 you should get a decent value for your money without getting force-fed Sour Patch Kids advertising.

    World Gone Sour is a classic example of 'you get what you pay for'. It's a short, inexpensive adventure that will appeal more to the kiddies than it will the adults. However, given the subject matter, I'm not sure that it would have been fair to expect anything else, especially considering the cost of admission.

    Drop-in/drop-out couch co-op adds an extra level of value to this extremely affordable game; overall, World Gone Sour is a fairly satisfying, calorie-free way to get a Sour Patch fix.

    World Gone Sour actually over delivers in visual appeal and potential humor, but falls short in regard to technical execution and pacing its content. Not unlike consuming an actual Sour Patch Kid, World Gone Sour starts off sharp and tasty but quickly dissolves into generic filler.

    With some pretty decent platforming, a dash of shockingly grim humor, and an utterly ridiculous Sour Patch Kids music video courtesy of Method Man, World Gone Sour is far from the worst thing you could waste five dollars on.

    This is a nice XBLA platform game: it tells a story about a gum candy-man, who is dropped in the trash, and his quest to survive being "sour".This is a nice XBLA platform game: it tells a story about a gum candy-man, who is dropped in the trash, and his quest to survive being "sour". The game have god 3D scenarios graphics, but in a classic 2D gameplay, where you progress through the stages (a cinema), and that have elements proportional to your size. It has a funny (actually strange) game narrator, but after sometime, his lines repeat. In the gameplay we have classic elements: jumping, wall jumping, killing enemies by jumping in their head, and collecting of little green gummy, points stars and secret items, but with some other features: you gather other gummy guys, to increase your size, to do other actions. The final score of the level is given by the amount of things you've collected, secret discovered and by sacrificing other gummy in a variety of ways (burned, melted, spiked, etc.). The game have a somewhat simple gameplay, but you can play it in coop in the same console, with nice graphics.
