  1. The addition of some sort of tie-in to the new game is nice to see too, for those of you that plan on picking it up. There's a lot of content in the game too, and for the price you're paying, I'd say it's certainly worth checking out, even for long time fans that have already played the game to death.

The action is satisfying and there are plenty secrets to find. It's definitely dated and flawed, but this is a game you play for its nostalgic value.

Wolfenstein 3D is just as fun a trip you can have going down memory lane.
  4. Wolfenstein 3D is not a first person shooter, it's The First Person Shooter.

Most regrettable is the lack of an automap, as seen in the Atari Jaguar version (1994) etc. Finding your way around all those samey corridors without the map screen is a real chore! OK, you do get unlockables for the forthcoming Wolfenstein game, and it's only 400 points, but when the XBLA version isn't as good as a console version from 15 years ago you have to wonder why... It is what it is, but it's not all it could have been. Full Review »
