Decent game so far.... difficult control scheme but it's becoming much more intuitive. If you're a Warhammer fan it's definitely worth a look.

Played the game for a couple of days now. It's just flat out fun. The controls do take some getting used to, but are not as bad as the gamespot review made it out to be. If you're a fan of the table top game or just Warhammer in general, then this is a must buy for you.

Not your average RTS, this one focuses solely on the battlefield, without any fiddling around with building bases and managing resources. It is a nice adaptation of the Warhammer tabletop game. Although the control scheme can be a bit difficult at first, it's easy enough to learn.

In all, if you are patient enough to learn the control scheme, this game will provide many hours of enjoyment for those of you who like the battle aspects of RTS games or are fans of tabletop gaming.

This game can be described as the opposite. I found learning the gameplay to be a real chore. There are detailed tutorials however they are not fully assistive. I had to reload the game several times to learn everything because the tutorial verbally tells you what to do but if you missed what was said there was no print on the screen to get you back to what it was you were supposed to have learned. On top of this the manual was equally missing a good description of controls. Another shortcoming was upgrading your units. No where can you assess whether it is cheaper to repair a unit or buy replacements and what this would mean towards the retained strength and moral of your units. When I picked up treasure from the battle field I couldn't figure out how to equip it from one unit to another. Can you even do that? This game also had bland visuals but I didn't really knock it for that. Overall you can do a lot in this game the rts outcomes and the player choices available to customize your gameplay is extremely decent. Unfortunately you have to be very dedicated to learning this game with your own mental fortitude. Expand

Decent RTS for consoles. The controls take a a few minutes to adjust to but they're definitely manageable. If you're looking for something similar to the Total War series this will be right down your alley.

  1. This real-time strategy game's convoluted controls make it hard to play, much less enjoy.

If you’re a Warhammer fan looking for some strategy action and you have a PC, stick with the mouse and keyboard version of Warhammer: Battle March. The controls are easier, the game looks and runs better, and there’s a larger community of gamers playing online.

With a substantial campaign mode, excellent online and a great customization aspect Namco Bandai's latest is one of the better attempts at the genre on a console.
