Aug 19, 2021Space Marine was actually a lot more fun then I thought it would be. It reminded me a little bit of Gears and the jetpack feature is a great addition.

Sep 10, 2020The Warhammer 40,000 universe is interesting and crazy and the video games around this topic are great, especially Space Marine! Visuals and gameplay are superb and the action is groundbreaking. Gears Of War on steroids!

May 23, 2012Space Marine combines Shooter and Hack and Slay together really well. It is really violent and the gameplay is plain awesome. Singleplayer and multiplayer are both very satisfying, the graphics are nice, the customization-options huge and there are a lot true Warhammer-weapons. Best Warhammer-game so far if you ask me.

Apr 15, 2012Space Marine is a fun game and enjoyable but compared to other games...it's not great. Campaign was good but lacks on a few things. Multiplayer has the same problom. But still worth your money. Campaign 7/10 Multiplayer 7/10 Space Marine 7.2

Apr 5, 2012Fun Fun Fun! Did I mention this game is fun?! Perfect blend of Hack-N-Slash and Shooter! This game does a phenomenal job of throwing literally dozens of orcs at you at one time. The story is actually interesting and your missions have purpose. I highly recommend this sleeper hit.

Mar 10, 2012This is coming from a long time warhammer fan and i can say they got all the elements of a space marine right, the weapons feel right(and look right of course).Their characteristics and their devotion to the emperor are also perfect.Sadly the game is a little bit too slow for my liking but overall a good hack and slash game with an awesome warhammer theme to it.

Nov 19, 2011This game is so NOT good, i watched my friend play it and i fell asleep many times during those repetitive orc fighting parts( most of game), and bad voice acting (all the orcs have Australian accents). Please, if you own an XBox 360, get Gears of War 3 and not this, if you own a PS3, save your money...seriously, wouldn't even take this game for free.

Nov 8, 2011Great game, love the online and the melee animations are great! Im a smidge biased because i am a 40k anyways but from a stricly video game point of view this is a very fun game. A bit reminiscent of Gears of war but gears of war was a good game so thats no big deal. but a great game to pass the time and hours of fun online!

Nov 8, 2011A lovely romp through a dystopian, gore filled future! You truly feel like a Space Marine as you wade through hordes of orcs and Chaos Space Marines.

Oct 10, 2011The game is okay. About halfway through, you start repeating everything already done. The game is very linear and very dry story. Its pretty so the kids like it.

Nov 15, 2011Relic Entertainment has done a solid job on Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine, taking the studio's knowledge of the IP working on the Dawn of War series for PC, and putting it to good use. With some better thought out set-pieces and more variety in the gameplay and visuals, this could have achieved greatness. As it is though, Space Marine feels like the foundations for a barnstorming sequel, and goodness knows it deserves one, as there's massive potential here.

X-ONE Magazine UKNov 14, 2011Unfortunately marred by some poorly designed mechanics, gameplay choices and a chunky feel. [Issue#77, p.87]
