    Another easy 400G. That's the purpose of this game. Mechanics are broken, AI is cheap, combat is neither satisfying, skill nor balanced. Environment and characters look like they were made from origami. Avoid at all costs unless you're desperate for achievements.

    Utterly garbage. The worst battle system and hitboxes I've ever seen in any fighting game (including NES Mortal Kombat and other ripoff games). Every person who was making this abomination should rot in hell.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This game is a classic, but it really has not aged well at all. The controls are very unresponsive, framerate is mediocre, and the AI is the same at all difficulties. It is fun to play with friends however, fighting the AI is doable through certain cheap strategies, but you are not given any chances to capitalize on their mistakes. By the time you get to Jeffry, the AI blocks all of you mixups, and the moment you take your hand off of the block button to dash away or counter, they immediately know your finger is off of it and punish the **** out of you. You end up dashing away and dashing in to do cheap grabs or maybe sneak some quick hits in. Professional players will use Akira against these bots and perform his move that breaks the guard of the AI, however, on the very unresponsive Xbox 360 port you can count it as nigh impossible to do before the AI opponent smashes a gaping hole into your face.

    TLDR-

    Pros:
    If you are a fan of the old Sega 3D console style then you will love the aesthetic of this game.
    It is fun to play with friends
    The achievements are easy to get if you are looking for gamerscore or to platinum a game quickly
    The soundtrack is good and the characters have their own charm, even if they are not really unique and feel ripped out of other fighting games

    Cons:
    Unresponsive controls
    Impossible AI that have no change in difficulty from easy to hardest.
    Wonky mechanics
    Unsatisfying combat
    The Online mode is dead, and even if it wasn't the net-coding is and always has been garbage

    A classic fighting game with a nostalgic look.
    This game isn't for "kids" who like instant reward. Not a brainless button smash fighting game...

    Classic Virtua Fighter right here. This is a game where you are going to have to put time into to become good at it. It's a punishing game, and the neutral is thick and ripe with depth that the series prides itself on. This game wrote the book on how to be a strong, deep and downright fun 3D fighter. If you want a classic 3D fighting game experience, this one is a timeless legend.

    This game was a classic on the Saturn and brought to life here. This is a 10, If you give this game a 1 you simply have not put the time into it... No button bashing here, take the time to learn moves and you will be rewarded. 10 10 10!! Enjoy!
