Apr 24, 2012Euro 2012 is a good DLC, enhanced by official licenses, new stadiums and new game modes. We recommend it to all FIFA 12 lovers.
-
May 4, 2012EA Sports UEFA Euro 2012 suffers from a lack of gameplay innovation but, in the end, the cost and the quality of the offer succed to impress real football lovers.
-
Apr 25, 2012For the first time EA releases this popular spin-off as a DLC, with the right price and the right amount of content. The Expedition mode is a very good grinding experience and some minor tweaks at the gameplay make every match to shine.
-
Apr 24, 2012For the price, it's an admirable effort. Expedition mode alone will keep you occupied long after Euro 2012 is over.
-
Apr 23, 2012A thoroughly decent piece of DLC, and even if it does make me yearn for a feature-shifting boxed version, this is probably the better solution for tie-in games in the long run.
-
May 4, 2012The UEFA Euro 2012 add-on delivers everything FIFA 12 stands for: good gameplay, nice graphics and a solid mix of different game modes with its evolving challenges and the brandnew and motivating expedition. But it fails to create what it was programmed for: a good European Championship atmosphere. It misses the celebrating fans and coaches from the 2010 World Championship game and it even includes only 29 (of 53) teams with original players, which is a huge letdown and not typical of FIFA.
-
Apr 28, 2012As a customer I much prefer the downloadable content route in replace of the £39.99 standalone title. The content is perfect to get you in the mood for the European championships, and for 1800MS Points your wallet won't take such a big hit.
-
Jun 25, 2012Personally I think this DLC (at the right price) is the ideal way to go. FIFA '12 owners waiting for the next annual iteration to kick-off wouldn't be keen to splash out $100 in between games.
-
Apr 24, 2012UEFA Euro 2012 isn't a revolution nor a new game at all, but is hard not to like it.
-
Games Master UKMay 28, 2012A fantastic accompaniment to the tournament at a good price. Well done EA. [July 2012, p.87]
-
Apr 30, 2012Diehard enthusiasts of the series are more likely to get a kick out of this DLC to FIFA 12 than just the average fan. 1800 Microsoft points is asking a lot for just a couple of new add-ons, though. Sticking with your standard issue copy is plenty and should hold everyone over until the next one. Of course, it's still a beautifully made title and still reigns as king in the world of fútbol gaming.
-
Apr 24, 2012It's a lightweight package, but UEFA Euro 2012's great presentation captures the grand atmosphere of the tournament.
-
Apr 24, 2012Had this been a £39.99 retail game like 2010 FIFA World Cup was then we'd be coughing "rip-off" under our breaths, but kudos to EA for giving UEFA Euro 2012 a price tag that reflects its likely lifespan.
-
Apr 24, 2012With no gameplay enhancements and only surface changes to presentation, this FIFA 12 expansion is a cosmetic add-on with no redeeming new features. The UEFA tournament mode is a lazy attempt to capture the glory of the competition, and the new Expedition mode is a boring grind. Only the most devoted of national fans should bother with this otherwise forgettable expansion.
-
Apr 24, 2012The price-point of UEFA Euro 2012 places it at the high-end of downloadable content, and simply it doesn't offer enough to justify this weighty price-tag.
-
May 8, 2012A strong foundation, but definitely too expensive.
-
May 1, 2012Hopefully, we'll see more expansions like UEFA Euro 2012 in future sports games - they do have the potential to really revitalize the game. But with half-finished rosters, missing features, and a solid-but-not-amazing world tour–style mode, this add-on never fires us up the way the original game did.
-
Apr 30, 2012Unfortunately, outside of Expedition, the rest of the package fails to score. Challenge mode has potential, especially when the tournament kicks off, but the lack of qualifying rounds, fully licensed teams and extras leaves this FIFA 12 expansion falling short in front of goal.
-
Apr 26, 2012Me? I would grudgingly buy it, despite feeling that I was being charged too much for too little. I guess that makes me part of the problem.
-
Apr 26, 2012A good recreation of the UEFA Euro competition but the lack of new options means this footy download is not value for money.
-
May 13, 2012Even though it's a "DLC" and not a complete game, Euro 2012 cannot satisfy soccer fans who wait for the full "Euro" experience, complete with all the teams and stadiums.
