    Trine 2 is one of the best-looking XBLA games out there. The visuals really are a wonder to behold. Its gameplay is solid and fun by yourself or with friends; unfortunately, there are a handful of annoyances that hold Trine 2 back from true greatness.

    Trine 2 throws players into a dazzling fantasy world and gives them three fun characters -- tools, really -- with which to save it. It's delightfully open-ended, from how you solve problems to whether or not you go it alone. Fans of puzzle games will not be disappointed.

    Even with the small problems here and there, Trine 2 offers an old-school gaming experience with a new, unique spin. It's already a great game with its engaging puzzles and addictive gameplay; add cooperative multiplayer to the mix, and Trine 2 is a must-have that can bring friends together for some excellent adventuring.

    Trine 2 is exactly what Frozenbyte intended it to be: a follow-up to a unique puzzle-platformer that beefs up the visuals and puzzle design. If you enjoyed the original, or enjoy the puzzle genre at all, this is a must get. The co-op is a blast, the puzzles will have you scratching your head for hours and the visuals are absolutely jaw-dropping.

    Trine 2's a fun physics-driven platformer worth playing both for its involving co-op and vivid use of color. It doesn't present any hugely substantial leaps forward beyond the original formula but if you're looking for more Trine and have a group of friends looking to join in, it's sure to provide a more than sufficient experience.

Финны Frozenbyte после весьма удачной, но не очень большой первой части всерьёз взялись за дело и выпустили один из самых мощных и знаковых платформеров всея Земли. На этот раз игрового процесса стало более чем достаточно. Геймплей по сути не приподнес никаких сюрпризов, разве что косметические улучшения по сравнению с первой частью. Прежде всего главное достоинство Trine 2 это ее картинка. Об этой самой картинке можно говорить бесконечно, она действительно завораживает и живет своей непостижимой собственной сказочной жизнью, поражает буйством красок, в этот мир и его обитателей влюбляешься бесповоротно. В остальном же это старый-добрый Trine узнаваемый, интересный, но возможно недостаточно сложный. С другой стороны она прекрасно подходит для того чтобы просто расслабиться и получить удовольствие в компании двух друзей.… Expand

Don't get me wrong the puzzles and how to solve them are fun but the controls and how you interact with the world can be rather sluggish. Watch a high quality youtube video of it and you'll see for yourself how well the vibrant painting-like art style brings the game to life. There is also a good dose of humor spread throughout the game. Trine 2 is a puzzle platformer with light RPG elements (you level up and choose what moves you want to unlock from a somewhat limited skill tree). There are 3 playable characters and whether you're playing by yourself or with 2 other friends (local or Live) you can swap between the 3 at any time. Each character has unique abilities and each is necessary to get through the levels. If you legitimately try to solve the puzzles, they can be pretty difficult at times. However, most of the time you can simply exploit the wizards abilities to get across the gaps. This game is definitely at its best when played with friends, especially local. With the uniqueness of the 3 playable characters everyone playing has to pull their weight, which often times leads to some pretty funny moments when someone messes up. If you've played all the way through Trine 1 there really isn't a whole lot new with Trine 2, it's just a more refined product. Trine 2 is also a bit longer than I expected and did start to get somewhat dull in the later 1/3 of the game, until the great looking final boss. It would have benefited greatly from having more bosses like the final boss. However, despite those minors drawbacks, this game is well worth the price of admission and is A MUST if available at a discount. Great atmosphere, great co-op, and some pretty good humor make this a nice little gem. 8/10… Expand

    This game was okay. Pretty simplistic and gets boring. Scenery is awesome tho.
