The Xbox 360 version of Titanfall isn't half bad, it's not nearly as good as the Xbox One and PC versions, but it's a decent version. The game runs at (around) 35fps at 600p, which is good for a 10 year old tri-core console. If you're unemployed and can't afford to buy an Xbox One, then the 360 version is a decent replacement for the actual Xbox One/PC game. I can't believe I'm saying this but I feel a little upset that I bought an Xbox One for Titanfall. The reason? The Xbox 360 version is incredible. Not only is the game almost identical to the Xbox One version (except slightly lower frame rate, lower res textures), but the game is a fine example of how games SHOULD look at the end of a console cycle. It looks a lot better than BF4 and COD:G and the same fast gameplay is available. Bluepoint Games are now my gods. From this point forward, what ever they create will be in my library eventually. I will avoid any conspiracy theories and just say this. It's a good thing there was a delay or else Xbox One might not have sold as many boxes. I'll just add that for some reason. I don't know if it is an illusion or what, this version of the game seems less laggy than the Xbox One version. Maybe I'm imagining things but I have both versions of the game and I keep wanting to play the 360 version because the experience is more consistent. Regardless, if you have a 360 and haven't yet made the leap to Xbox One, YOU ARE CRAZY if you don't pick this up. I'm leveling up all over again in bliss. Oh and seriously, if anyone rates this game lower than a 7 (which I don't agree with but everyone has their reasons), they are full of it and consider them a troll. Expand

FPS Haters will hate. COD haters will hate. Xbox haters will hate.
Lets just get that out of the way, ignore most of the 1/2/3/4 scores.
First things first, this IS NOT the big next gen breakthrough they claim for Xbox One. This xbox360 version is barring graphics and perhaps some performance issues, EXACTLY the same as the xbox one version. It plays the same, and played at the pace

It plays the same, and played at the pace the game demands, it looks the same.
Even the 360 box art features the same "next gen shooter" message in its blurb. You can forget about "Power of the Cloud*, all it means if the game uses dedicated servers.

If you like COD, you'll like it. If you liked what COD used to be, theres a great chance of you'll like this.
The game plays at a brilliant fast pace, the shooting is much less lock on that you're used to. The game is full to the brim of amazing "wow i just did that" moments and is very empowering.

The graphics are very solid. They looked pretty average on xbox one to begin with, but for an FPS fast paced shooter, they are more than good enough for an ancient xbox 360. If you are standing around looking at textures, you are already dead.

If you thought this game was a reason to get an xbox one, forget it. Stick with your xbox 360, the lower price of the game on this console is much closer to its worth.
The game isnt very deep, there isnt a huge amount of weapons or titans or modes. The game does get boring fairly soon for most people.

Plays the same as the Xbox One version, not quite as polished but endless fun regardless. The zero scores are just trolls and should be ignored. The campaign is not good on either system but the multiplayer is top notch. There aren't any overpowered weapons or loadouts so the matches end with whatever team is more skilled or luckier in a few cases. Considering the age of the console, it is a great game ON THE 360. Imagine this game being released on xbox 8 years ago, it would have certainly gotten many awards, if not even game of the year. At the moment I only own a xbox 360 (and a pc), and even though the graphics aren't as sharp as it's older brother on xbox one and pc, it's still a very good game. Fails to match up with the visual splendor and high framerates of the PC version. Still, Titanfall is quite enjoyable even on last-gen hardware. It's a real shame that he technical issues end up feeling quite secondary compared to the fact that Titanfall is so desperately in need of new content. [June 2014]

A competent shooter, but fails to replicate the fun, frantic pace or steadiness its next-gen cousin achieved by quite a way. [Issue#111, p.82]

Some features from the Xbox One and PC versions are missing, but the essence of Titanfall is present in the Xbox 360 edition of Respawn's superb online shooter.
