Whilst the Misadventures of P.B. Winterbottom may not be everyone’s cup of tea it is a quirky and whimsical jaunt through the mind of a man addicted to pies and probably well worth a look for anyone wanting a change from the endless FPS cavalcade.

The charming and challenging puzzles of this downloadable title are great, at first. The challenge quickly goes from motivational to simply frustrating. Although the music is fantastic, the puzzles are clever and the presentation is tasteful the overall experience is dampened a bit by the frustrating nature of the challenge.

It's not a fun-filled romp through a fantastic world - it's a test to divide the clever from the slow. Have fun, but all the same, buyer beware!
-
Sadly, these striking visuals only serve to exacerbate Winterbottom’s one true issue: some incredibly bland level design.
