    This is my most favorite game of all time, yes the story is the typical a prophecy involving a big bad villain destroying the world and one hero must stop it kind of story, but it's very entertaining and interesting due to the fascinating lore and world around it, the RPG elements are deep, open, and great, you don't just select a specific character class, you get to have access to anyThis is my most favorite game of all time, yes the story is the typical a prophecy involving a big bad villain destroying the world and one hero must stop it kind of story, but it's very entertaining and interesting due to the fascinating lore and world around it, the RPG elements are deep, open, and great, you don't just select a specific character class, you get to have access to any skills that you want, wanna be a sword and shield warrior? go ahead be one, wanna wield a sword and have a healing or destructive spell? go ahead, it doesn't matter, character customization is up to you, gameplay is fun, fast, and fluid, you can fight with a sword and shield, a two-handed weapon, spells, staffs, whatever, it's up to you, even going through the game is up to you, do you want to follow the main story and ignore the side content? go ahead, or do you want to do the side content and ignore the main story? go ahead, this game is huge, open, and full of player freedom, you aren't restricted to very linear levels, you can go anywhere, be any class you want, and do whatever you want, this game will take you around 200-300 hours to complete everything, so it's a definite bang for your buck, you won't regret buying this game… Expand

    These guys just give score for laughter! :| Otherwise no wise man will give any score less than 9 to this lasting masterpiece. also, im sure they did not even play it or played it a lil and leaved it after they understood thei IQ can't handle it.

    Few games will ever be this good.. I will for ever say that skyrim is one of the best games of all time. I'm playing it here in 2021 for the hundredth time. It just never gets old.

    It’s very hard to come across a good game nowadays, but this one is just exceedingly stupendous! Probably one of the best games in our generation, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is highly entertaining with a customizable character, your own adventure, decision making, and everything you do changes the story, so each time you replay, it ends differently! It is absolutely one of my favoriteIt’s very hard to come across a good game nowadays, but this one is just exceedingly stupendous! Probably one of the best games in our generation, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is highly entertaining with a customizable character, your own adventure, decision making, and everything you do changes the story, so each time you replay, it ends differently! It is absolutely one of my favorite games! I totally recommend it for anyone who likes/loves adventure, fantasty, difficult, and fighting games.… Expand

    Just overall the best game I've ever played, they've truly outdone themselves on this game. It is art and will always be known as one of the greatest rpgs ever created during this era of games. I can see my self easily putting 200-300 hours in Skyrim over the next few years until TES 6 is released.

    A little over hyped and over rated. It’s an RPG you can win without leveling up. The customization is tired. The random quest generation is weak and repetitive, the story and interesting characters are both non-existent. The game is gorgeous and interesting to explore but bland in the end.

    Even after nearly 10 years, Bethesdas super addictive 5th installment to their popular franchise still hold's up. Pack with hours of 1000's of quests to do, this is a game that never gets stale or dull. Even if you don't care for the story line.

    This game holds a special place in my heart. It was one of the first open-world experiences I ever had, and it was absolutely beautiful. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is Bethesda at their absolute best, and it's just such a shame to see how far they have fallen since the release of Skyrim, when they were so beloved by the gaming community. Skyrim is polished, fun, captivating, emotional and,This game holds a special place in my heart. It was one of the first open-world experiences I ever had, and it was absolutely beautiful. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is Bethesda at their absolute best, and it's just such a shame to see how far they have fallen since the release of Skyrim, when they were so beloved by the gaming community. Skyrim is polished, fun, captivating, emotional and, perhaps most importantly, extremely atmospheric. Back in the day, this was the ultimate open-world experience and would've easily earned a 10/10 for me. Because I generally try to judge games by the standards of the time, I have to give Skyrim a 10/10. And while some of the graphics, animations and overall gameplay are a bit dated -- what else is to be expected? -- it still, after all this time, has to be considered as one of the greatest open-world experiences out there.     The best game I've ever played. After 9 years I'm still playing Skyrim. It's a game that never gets old, you can see something new each time you play.

    I still remember the first time I had Skyrim in my hands, it was 2014 and I was playing Resident Evil 6 and my mother came home from work with Skyrim, I stopped playing and started to look at the cover but on that At that time I was still very excited about RE 6 and ended up not playing Skyrim on the same day, however when I did I discovered one of the best worlds ever created in a game.I still remember the first time I had Skyrim in my hands, it was 2014 and I was playing Resident Evil 6 and my mother came home from work with Skyrim, I stopped playing and started to look at the cover but on that At that time I was still very excited about RE 6 and ended up not playing Skyrim on the same day, however when I did I discovered one of the best worlds ever created in a game.

    Skyrim is easily one of, if not my favorite game of all time, I love the universe created here, the immersion provided by this game was unbelievable, I had never experienced anything like this (at the time I played it I was 13 and I remember asking "is Bethesda famous?" little did I know what was to come lol) and i got addicted to it for several months (to this day I still play from time to time).

    Positive Points:

    Main Quest (people often complain that the main quest is weak but I still don't understand why, for me the story of Dovahkiin is quite interesting and my only criticism of the campaign is maybe its duration, but I always mix main quest with side quests, and exploration and that ends up making me immersed in the universe in such a way that I just don't realize it's short)

    Freedom (Honestly? is one of the best points of this game, you can just skip the main quest and still have several stories and adventures to try out, you can skip all the quests and still have immense fun exploring this game, you can being a werewolf, vampire, wizard, warrior, archer, the freedom provided here is surreal)

    Immersion (If you stop to experience the universe created here, you will have one of the best experiences ever in a game, you open a book and suddenly a sidequest starts, in it you meet a ghost, discover a forge made by a lost civilization and the story unfolds, maybe you are just walking and you find a house in the forest, there you discover a place of "appreciation" of a different skooma, you use it and end up trapped by vampires)

    Universe creation (You can spend hours and hours just reading books, uncovering several stories that took place before Skyrim's timeline or even current issues in the game, it's really fascinating)

    Soundtrack (It's just fabulous, the background songs, the battle songs, the tavern songs (highlight for , the song The Dragonborn Comes), the music played in Sovngarde, are all just amazing)

    Gameplay (another point that people often complain about but I particularly find the gameplay satisfactory, I played most of mine as a wizard so ...)

    Atmosphere (I love the Nordic theme so I don't need to say anything else lol)

    Negative points:

    Be the leader of everything (In all faction quests you will end up as the leader or top figure within that faction, it bothers me a lot because in my view it doesn't make sense to be archmage of Winterwold school and leader of thieves guild. To buy houses you need to become thane and ends up becoming thane of all cities which again doesn't make sense and the same can be said of becoming champion of all daedras at the same time)

    Companions (Most of them have no personality and end up serving only as cargo, I like Lydia, Brelyna but this is more due to my immersion in the game than character development)

    Repetition of voice actors

    Anyway, it's a fantastic game and it was with it that I had my first experience with RPGS making me love this style of game. I would say that Skyrim is a must for everyone who likes video games.    … Expand

Whilst some of the quests in this game are forgettable, some just never get old like the dark brotherhood or the college of Winterhold. So what ever game you’re into you’ll find some enjoyableOne of the best games of all time, hands down. From the gorgeous mountains to the gloomy dungeons, Skyrim offers a lot of exploration and encounters from straight out of the starting area, Haelgan.     Skyrim is the closest you will get to freedom of choice in a game that isn’t breath of the wild. Great game.

    One of the most successful RPG games.You are in the main mission, you have 5 missions when you enter, and when you leave you are left with 55 missions.If you have never played I would say turn around and take a look.

    The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim is a masterpiece. Skyrim is a open world role playing game with a great main quest and lots of great side quests. Skyrim has so many different play styles.

    Skyrim is the largest, and most compelling work that I've had the opportunity to play this year. It's engaging, engrossing, and will take over your gaming life for many months to come. Not only is Skyrim among the best that 2011 has to offer, but for me, this is, without hesitation, the Game of the Year.
