    Skyrim is the best goddamn game there is. I have sunk over 300 hours into this game over the past half-decade and those were among the best hours of my life. You know, it's all the modding that keeps me, and millions of other people like me, coming back to this game again and again.     Defo one of the best Elder Scrolls games of all. Hell one of the best games of all time. It manages to do what Morrowind and Oblivion did so well and introduces more. They say any game with Dragons is an awesome game but this goes so much further.

    Possibly the greatest RPG of all time? I think it probably is for the foreseeable future. I'm writing this review after replaying it a lot and I had forgot that this game came out in 2011. Still magnificent to behold, a rich and deep world that feels a much more real place than Cyrodil (Taking nothing away from Oblivion of course!).

    This game is HUGE (Open world) it's combat system is fun. Has lots to do, and improving your skills is more than just leveling up. If you sneak your sneak improves. The best RPG EVER. It's my favorite game of all time.

    All I can say to this game is... WOW. Bethesda Softworks blew fans away with this game. From plundering an evil dungeon, to murdering a civilian by candlelight, this is a MASTERPIECE. The graphics are absolutely amazing, and since its an RPG, its your game. You can be honorable, and live to your word, or even a sneaky assassin. The story line is incredible and the DLC make it even better.All I can say to this game is... WOW. Bethesda Softworks blew fans away with this game.     This is easily a game that can absorb alot of your time and you can play it two or three times over and there is literally so much in this game that every time you play it feels different. This is the only game I have ever played that actually makes you feel like there are no boundaries.     The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is a must have for any RPG fan. There are tons of quests to do and lots of land to explore. All the side quests are very good but the main quest line has a little dullness to it. The graphics and scenery are beautiful but some of the environment can be a little dark and dirty.     Skyrim, The fifth Elder Scrolls game............And one of the best video games ever created, EVER. The exploration was very fun and even better using the Dragonborn DLC which makes the game 20x better. The fighting was simple yet funny, and Easter eggs were a fun thing to come across. The other two DLC's (Hearthfire & Dawnguard) added a touch of danger to the game, vampiresSkyrim, The fifth Elder Scrolls game............And one of the best video games ever created, EVER.     10/10 Skyrim is not a game to be missed. In fact, Skyrim is more than a game, it is an experience. Skyrim mixes an interesting story with excellent gameplay and a wide variety of side quests, characters and items. I loved using my shouts and know that I will be pumping in hundreds more hours into this masterpiece.

    I do not know what is wrong with the PS3 version but I am glad I played it on the Xbox because it is an amazing experience to even watch someone else play this game. Fantastic game and a must play for everyone!

    This game incorporates every single element that diversifies a game and brings it up front for all to experience. The joy I've had with this game is immense and no other will be quite like it. The graphics are incredible for the time of release, the gameplay is excellent with plenty of varied things you must do to succeed.     Skyrim is not an ordinary video game the only places this game stumbles is in its glitches and story telling. Its dynamic enough to suit any player and theres so much to do you will probably never find a reason to stop playing skyrim.

    Fantastic game. In my top 3 games of all time. The world scale, skills, spells, story, vista views, and music score add up to a game no one should miss regardless of platform.
    Get this game and every official DLC. You will spend 100s of hours immersed in the world of northern Tamriel and thoroughly enjoy it.

    I mean really, how can you say no to Skyrim. You got a ton of choices how do you want to play this game. After you finish the game, you just can't stop. Thiefs guild, companions and millions of other things to do. Well deserved 10/10.

I started to find that this game is a masterpiece after watching my cousin kill the first dragon i was hooked. I started to play and we switched turns when someone died.     It is not often I get lost in a game like I did with Skyrim. Everything about this game is adventurous. While Bethesda hasn't exactly got a track record for delivering bug-free games at launch, this has been a pleasant, polished and amazing experience so far.

There are many surprises and it is very emotional. There is an amazing amount of side-quests, with the entire package taking up about 300 hours for me. 10/10.
    Gameplay
    In Skyrim, there are three different play-styles; the warrior, the archer, and the mage. Inside of each play-style lay dozens of sub-classes, such as the arch-mage or full on warrior. There is also stealth for some levels, but it is not very good. If you want a great stealth game, play Dishonored. These play-styles are acquired through natural progression; there are no classes, when you do an action it levels up that skill category. The combat system, however good, can feel a bit lofty at some times. 9.3/10.    … Expand

    This is a god in the world of gaming. The story was great, combat worked well, graphics were beautiful, it pretty much had just about everything I like in a game. (really is a 9.9/10 because nothing is truly perfect, but they don't have it so I marked it 10/10)

    This is one of the best open world games have ever played. You can do anything you want from fighting dragons to even building your own house. The story line is not great but everything else is awesome!

    This game is unbelievable. Hours upon hours of quests and other gameplay. Could play this game for hours and not get bored. Only issue is that sometimes it gets a bit glitchy and I am unable to do/complete a quest.

    Als ich das Spiel startete war ich sofort in dieser immersiven Welt gefangen. Nach insgesamt 1200 Stunden Spielzeit kann ich sagen: Zusammen mit ESO:TU ist Skyrim einer meiner All-Time Favorite´s im Elder Scrolls Universum und auch in meiner    Skyrim! Für mich der Start in das Elder Scrolls Universum und in die Welt der westlichen RPG´s. Vor diesem Spiel waren bei mir nur JRPG´s im Regal.

    Als ich das Spiel startete war ich sofort in dieser immersiven Welt gefangen. Nach insgesamt 1200 Stunden Spielzeit kann ich sagen: Zusammen mit ESO:TU ist Skyrim einer meiner All-Time Favorite´s im Elder Scrolls Universum und auch in meiner Spielesammlung!

Skyrim no es perfecto, tiene un montón de fallos gráficos, el rendimiento en xbox deja mucho que desear y hay bugs que te destrozan toda la experiencia en un golpe; pero aún así, tiene algo tan especial que sigues queriendo estar ahí.

El sistema de combate es tosco y algo arcaico y creo que se podría haber mejorado muchísimo, pues no tiene mucha ciencia, solo consiste en pegar hostias a ton ni son.
    La música creo que perfecta, sabe sumergirte perfectamente en su mundo y bueno...La canción del titulo ya se han convertido en un tema mítico dentro de los videojuegos.
    No quiero enrollarme mucho más en esta review, solo dar mi pequeña opinión sobre un titulo que si, no es perfecto, pero que a mi me enamoro desde el primer instante en el que jugué a él, y creo que eso es lo más importante en este mundo de los videojuegos.    … Expand

The quests that you complete are very rewarding with the loot in chests and in the game you can play how you want to play: do this mission first or go to that cave second, or get this item before you do that quest. You can play as any class you like to with immersive gear that you can equip. Be a mage, or a warrior, or a thief! many great side quests that take place in various places in Skyrim like the holds or join a faction guild (Dark Brotherhood/Companions, Thieves Guild/ College of Winterhold) . The amount of quests in this game will keep you playing for over 60 hours! Huge amount of content and with the addition of the DLC. There are many different types of enemies that you come across throughout the game from bandits to dragon priests! The amount of design that has been put in the world is just spectacular which just adds to the game's excellence! Most of the Characters that you meet have interesting backstories to them and very rich dialogue. Overall, this game is fantastic! Not to mention the superb re-playability, and the many races you can customize your character with that have an additional feature to them that will help later in the game, ie: Nords have 50% frost resistance. The only problem is the bugs and glitches, but I would not count that as a flaw because every game has bugs and glitches and this one managed well with them for an open world game!… Expand

    This game is just absolutely breathtaking. Skyrim is one of the best RPGS i have ever played and after 4 years of playing this game i always find something new to do when playing it. This game just goes to show that singleplayer games should never die. There is just nothing negative i can say about this masterpiece other than be prepared to take up many hours of your life playing this game.

    One of the best games I've ever played. Combat is fun and engaging, tons of content, and a beautiful open world with rich lore. The leveling system isn't as intricate as its predecessor (truthfully, I'll miss leveling up from running and jumping), but it feels very natural and clean. The replay value is high; this game is definitely worth the money.

    Amazing game with really good combat and unique characters. All of the glitches just make it funnier and don't detract from the game play. I have 1000+ hours on it and I'm still not bored of it. Each time you play it, you feel like it's a unique experience.

    Skyrim is easily one of, if not my favorite game of all time, I love the universe created here, the immersion provided by this game was unbelievable, I had never experienced anything like this (at the time I played it I was 13 and I remember asking "is Bethesda famous?" little did I know what was to come lol) and i got addicted to it for several months (to this day I still play from time to time).

    Positive Points:

    Main Quest (people often complain that the main quest is weak but I still don't understand why, for me the story of Dovahkiin is quite interesting and my only criticism of the campaign is maybe its duration, but I always mix main quest with side quests, and exploration and that ends up making me immersed in the universe in such a way that I just don't realize it's short)

    Freedom (Honestly? is one of the best points of this game, you can just skip the main quest and still have several stories and adventures to try out, you can skip all the quests and still have immense fun exploring this game, you can being a werewolf, vampire, wizard, warrior, archer, the freedom provided here is surreal)

    Immersion (If you stop to experience the universe created here, you will have one of the best experiences ever in a game, you open a book and suddenly a sidequest starts, in it you meet a ghost, discover a forge made by a lost civilization and the story unfolds, maybe you are just walking and you find a house in the forest, there you discover a place of "appreciation" of a different skooma, you use it and end up trapped by vampires)

    Universe creation (You can spend hours and hours just reading books, uncovering several stories that took place before Skyrim's timeline or even current issues in the game, it's really fascinating)

    Soundtrack (It's just fabulous, the background songs, the battle songs, the tavern songs (highlight for , the song The Dragonborn Comes), the music played in Sovngarde, are all just amazing)

    Gameplay (another point that people often complain about but I particularly find the gameplay satisfactory, I played most of mine as a wizard so ...)

    Atmosphere (I love the Nordic theme so I don't need to say anything else lol)

    Negative points:

    Be the leader of everything (In all faction quests you will end up as the leader or top figure within that faction, it bothers me a lot because in my view it doesn't make sense to be archmage of Winterwold school and leader of thieves guild. To buy houses you need to become thane and ends up becoming thane of all cities which again doesn't make sense and the same can be said of becoming champion of all daedras at the same time)

    Companions (Most of them have no personality and end up serving only as cargo, I like Lydia, Brelyna but this is more due to my immersion in the game than character development)

    Repetition of voice actors

    Anyway, it's a fantastic game and it was with it that I had my first experience with RPGS making me love this style of game. I would say that Skyrim is a must for everyone who likes video games.    … Expand

    I finished the main story as an orc war butcher who simply shredded everything away in hand-to-hand combat (how much I love the slow motion effects with a decent battle ax :)) In order to shed light on other facets, I of course gambled two other characters as well. each in their own way, great fun.

    All in all, of course, the game doesn't end there, there is still so much that I have to and want to do.

In Skyrim you know what every perk does because it says it clearly so you know exactly what you're getting. On top of this you also have so many great quest lines you can complete no matter what kind of character you choose to be. Now I'm not saying every storyline is completely perfect much like some of the glitches found in the game they're still entertaining. I've played Skyrim for thousands of hours and made hundreds of characters and I still go back to it every now and again because it really is that good. Despite everything that people who hate the game say about how it "is too glitchy" or that it "is not a real RPG" I still find it to be one of the best games of all time.… Expand

    Aaah skyrim...open world, huge dungeons, dragons, orcs, elves, vampires and werewolves, and all the chapters that you need to complete. I like it. Bethesdas made a great game, thar feels like it never ends with all the things you need to do it

I personally have put hundreds of hours into this game, and I haven't even beaten the main story because of the sheer amount of side content.     This game is the **** best, it's the reason why I am who I am today and it brings me a smile everyday I think about it. This game is where Bethesda shined for once instead of obsidian studios and what not.

    The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim may be one of the greatest videogames ever made, there are infinite ways you can play the game. You can be an archer, warrior, wizard, thief... whatever you want. On top of that, there is a massive world for you to explore. There are hundreds of dungeons, caves, houses... as well as hundreds of items, potions, weapons, spells... the list of content is endless!

    When I first played it as a very young kid, it absolutely blew me away, my experience with the game was unreal, everything about it was out of this world. One of the most gorgeous and breathtaking worlds in a videogame, and to this day it still manages to surprise me.

    I love the Scandinavian Medieval setting, with the dragons and the diverse amount of creatures and people, it's a huge game where you create your own story.

    The gameplay is mostly basic with a decent variety of weapons and spells, nothing groundbreaking but it serves its purpose. Where the game feels outdated and tedious is the dungeon design, most dungeons look the same and some puzzles can be frustrating, that being said this doesn't necessarily ruin the experience.

    The scenery, the music, the aurora borealis... it's very nostalgic and makes me teary-eyed, I mourn the days when I didn't know anything about this game, and I wish I could experience it for the first time again.
    A Timeless Masterpiece.

If you are looking for an intense, yet delicate RPG, Skyrim probably isn't for you. Skyrim almost completely redefines the idea of an open world sandbox RPG, the sheer amount of things you can do in this game leaves an idea of how vast and beautiful it is, and thats without mentioning the mods, which take this game from a 9 to a 10 for me. While mods are not required to enjoy a good playthrough of Skyrim, they take an already enjoyable experience and make it one of the most addicting games of your life. Skyrim is without a shadow of a doubt a must play for anybody who enjoys games at all.… Expand

    Skyrim is the largest, and most compelling work that I've had the opportunity to play this year. It's engaging, engrossing, and will take over your gaming life for many months to come. Not only is Skyrim among the best that 2011 has to offer, but for me, this is, without hesitation, the Game of the Year.
