    This is easily a game that can absorb alot of your time and you can play it two or three times over and there is literally so much in this game that every time you play it feels different. This is the only game I have ever played that actually makes you feel like there are no boundaries.     The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is a must have for any RPG fan. There are tons of quests to do and lots of land to explore. All the side quests are very good but the main quest line has a little dullness to it. The graphics and scenery are beautiful but some of the environment can be a little dark and dirty.     10/10 Skyrim is not a game to be missed. In fact, Skyrim is more than a game, it is an experience. Skyrim mixes an interesting story with excellent gameplay and a wide variety of side quests, characters and items. I loved using my shouts and know that I will be pumping in hundreds more hours into this masterpiece.

    I do not know what is wrong with the PS3 version but I am glad I played it on the Xbox because it is an amazing experience to even watch someone else play this game. Fantastic game and a must play for everyone!

    This game incorporates every single element that diversifies a game and brings it up front for all to experience. The joy I've had with this game is immense and no other will be quite like it. The graphics are incredible for the time of release, the gameplay is excellent with plenty of varied things you must do to succeed.     A masterpiece. You will not regret your purchase of Skyrim, the only reason it's a 9/10 and not 10/10 is because there are far too many glitches present in the game. However, these glitches are usually minute and will only rarely impact on your game.

    Skyrim is not an ordinary video game the only places this game stumbles is in its glitches and story telling. Its dynamic enough to suit any player and theres so much to do you will probably never find a reason to stop playing skyrim.

    This is the funnest game i have ever played it is a super good game if you don't have it you have to get it and it a 10 out of 10. This game also has a great graphics probably best of its time. you have to get it.

I started to find that this game is a masterpiece after watching my cousin kill the first dragon i was hooked. I started to play and we switched turns when someone died.     It is not often I get lost in a game like I did with Skyrim. Everything about this game is adventurous. While Bethesda hasn't exactly got a track record for delivering bug-free games at launch, this has been a pleasant, polished and amazing experience so far.

    The main story in Skyrim in great, with many epic and awesome moments to be had, such as slaying your first dragon. The lore is just insane. It is packed into books and dialogue, and makes the player feel like they are actually in a living world with history. What I liked even more than the main story was the dark brotherhood quest-line. There are many surprises and it is very emotional. There is an amazing amount of side-quests, with the entire package taking up about 300 hours for me. 10/10.
    Gameplay
    In Skyrim, there are three different play-styles; the warrior, the archer, and the mage. Inside of each play-style lay dozens of sub-classes, such as the arch-mage or full on warrior. There is also stealth for some levels, but it is not very good. If you want a great stealth game, play Dishonored. These play-styles are acquired through natural progression; there are no classes, when you do an action it levels up that skill category. The combat system, however good, can feel a bit lofty at some times. 9.3/10.    … Expand

There are so many locations to explore and so many side quests to complete it's stunning. There's a deep crafting system and leveling system as well as story-altering decisions that make this game stand out as a pretty fantastic RPG. You can spend hundreds of hours hunting dragons,, exploring dungeons, etc. in this game and the main story is pretty epic (along with the soundtrack).
    Now for the negative. As close as I was to giving this game a 9/10, I gave it an 8/10 instead due to its long loading times (up to a full minute), frequent freeze-ups when exploring that sometimes last around ten seconds, glitches, and other aggravating elements (such as stage 4 vampirism where everyone wants to kill you and it's very difficult to get rid of).
    Ultimately, it's a great action-RPG and if you haven't already played it, do so if you like the genre in the least. There's just so much to enjoy about it. If you can get past the technical issues, you'll love it.    … Expand

    This is one of the best open world games have ever played. You can do anything you want from fighting dragons to even building your own house. The story line is not great but everything else is awesome!

    This game is unbelievable. Hours upon hours of quests and other gameplay. Could play this game for hours and not get bored. Only issue is that sometimes it gets a bit glitchy and I am unable to do/complete a quest.

    Als ich das Spiel startete war ich sofort in dieser immersiven Welt gefangen. Nach insgesamt 1200 Stunden Spielzeit kann ich sagen: Zusammen mit ESO:TU ist Skyrim einer meiner All-Time Favorite´s im Elder Scrolls Universum und auch in meiner    Skyrim! Für mich der Start in das Elder Scrolls Universum und in die Welt der westlichen RPG´s. Vor diesem Spiel waren bei mir nur JRPG´s im Regal.

The visuals are breathtaking, story is in depth and investing and the soundtrack is one of the best soundtracks I've heard. It's rare to come across a game that is so big but still manages to provide the player with amazing graphics. There's so much to do in this game to ensure you don't fall in toAfter about an hour of playing Skyrim it had become one of my favourite games of all time. It's rare to come across a game that is so big but still manages to provide the player with amazing graphics. There's so much to do in this game to ensure you don't fall in to the route of going from story quest to story quest with no time to immerse yourself and you'll still have plenty to do once your finish the main story. The only thing that is holding me back from giving it a full 10/10 is the glitches upon release and the side quests not feeling as well thought out as the main story. Overall, this is a great game and I had so much fun playing it on release way back in 2011. I'm sure Bethesda's next Elder Scrolls instalment will be just as great.… Expand

El sistema de combate es tosco y algo arcaico y creo que se podría haber mejorado muchísimo, pues no tiene mucha ciencia, solo consiste en pegar hostias a ton ni son.
    La música creo que perfecta, sabe sumergirte perfectamente en su mundo y bueno...La canción del titulo ya se han convertido en un tema mítico dentro de los videojuegos.
    No quiero enrollarme mucho más en esta review, solo dar mi pequeña opinión sobre un titulo que si, no es perfecto, pero que a mi me enamoro desde el primer instante en el que jugué a él, y creo que eso es lo más importante en este mundo de los videojuegos.    … Expand

    This game is just absolutely breathtaking. Skyrim is one of the best RPGS i have ever played and after 4 years of playing this game i always find something new to do when playing it. This game just goes to show that singleplayer games should never die. There is just nothing negative i can say about this masterpiece other than be prepared to take up many hours of your life playing this game.

    This game is amazing . This game is one of the best game of 2011 . This game has got one of the best storyline in videogame of 2011 and pretty good graphics . This game very addictive and it makes you forget external world . In this game many different enemies eg Big Spider and many different weapon eg sword or bow with arrows .     Bethesda done it again with this one, Although i personally like Oblivion a little more, Skyrim is 10/10 and is a must buy game. There is enough here to keep you going for weeks.

But Skyrim took the gameplay of Oblivion and improved it while trying new things like dual wielding weapons and magic. I've spent thousands of hours in dozens upon dozens of playthroughs of different characters in different paths.The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is one of the best open world rpgs I've played. I prefer The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion for it's better written story and setting. But Skyrim took the gameplay of Oblivion and improved it while trying new things like dual wielding weapons and magic. You play as your own customized Dragonborn, saving the world from the dreaded World Eater. (otherwise known as Alduin) But there’s no way you can save the world right away, not with all the distracting side quests.I’ve decided to write a review over a game I’ve been exploring for years. Skyrim: Elder Scrolls for xbox 360 and other consoles. A creative installment from Bethesda studios. You play as your own customized Dragonborn, saving the world from the dreaded World Eater. (otherwise known as Alduin) But there’s no way you can save the world right away, not with all the distracting side quests.
    Skyrim, being an open world, is riddled with side quest. You can take your character and their trusty companion down a tomb. Join the Dark Brotherhood, league of assassins. Or drag your tiny group up a mountain, just so you can shout a few goats off a cliff. However, if you choose to fight a dragon careful of the glitches. Glitches are basically everywhere in Skyrim, mostly when you're in combat with a dragon. Other than when you’re fighting, there’s flying mammoths, teleporting cat people, and giant frostbite spiders warping through cave walls. But once you push past those pesky glitches and level up, your Dragonborn will be strong enough to defeat the World Eater and save the world. You’ll be rewarded by your allies, respected by civilians, and maybe finally learn how to master that fire bolt spell.
    Dragonborn, regretfully can’t be a dragon. There’s still many races to choose from, and combat perks. Be a High Elf, master of magic. Be a Nord, excerpt weapon wielder. Or maybe a normal Elf, an adept archer. Once you're done creating your Dragonborn, and maybe have played the game a few times, start modding. Turn dragons into Thomas the Trains, or normal villages into a city full of life. Geeze! You mine as well be the God of Skyrim and turn vampires into kittens! All this and more with the power of mods! But all in all, Skyrim was a fun game to mess with. There’s major plots and many nacks and jams you can get yourself into. The main quest is so-so, but I got so sidetracked and enjoyed other parts of the game so much, I could hardly build an opinion on defeating the main villain who planned on populating the world with nothing but dragons. There’s just so much about Skyrim, but so little time.    … Expand

I'm writing this review in 2017, 6 years after the game came out and nothing has surpassed the enjoyment and fun and the overall experience that I had with this masterpiece (The Witcher 3 came close not gonna lie).     One of the best games I've ever played. Combat is fun and engaging, tons of content, and a beautiful open world with rich lore. The leveling system isn't as intricate as its predecessor (truthfully, I'll miss leveling up from running and jumping), but it feels very natural and clean. The replay value is high; this game is definitely worth the money.

    The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is by far one of the best RPGs that I have ever played. The game is just really massive and the gameplay is solid. The story is good...I guess but, to be honest, it doesn't really matter because there is a pretty much infinite amount of side missions and a million other things to do. In the end, this is a great game...so go play it.

It's way worse than Oblivion.. yeah, graphics were much better than TES IV, the story feels that if has the same epicness (that depends on each of you)...     It still is a MUST-PLAY but this game meant the decrease of RPG elements in Bethesda games, and this really affected Fallout 4.    … Expand

    Amazing game with really good combat and unique characters. All of the glitches just make it funnier and don't detract from the game play. I have 1000+ hours on it and I'm still not bored of it. Each time you play it, you feel like it's a unique experience.

    Just overall the best game I've ever played, they've truly outdone themselves on this game. It is art and will always be known as one of the greatest rpgs ever created during this era of games. I can see my self easily putting 200-300 hours in Skyrim over the next few years until TES 6 is released.

    A little over hyped and over rated. It’s an RPG you can win without leveling up. The customization is tired. The random quest generation is weak and repetitive, the story and interesting characters are both non-existent. The game is gorgeous and interesting to explore but bland in the end.

    Even after nearly 10 years, Bethesdas super addictive 5th installment to their popular franchise still hold's up. Pack with hours of 1000's of quests to do, this is a game that never gets stale or dull. Even if you don't care for the story line.

    Skyrim is easily one of, if not my favorite game of all time, I love the universe created here, the immersion provided by this game was unbelievable, I had never experienced anything like this (at the time I played it I was 13 and I remember asking "is Bethesda famous?" little did I know what was to come lol) and i got addicted to it for several months (to this day I still play from time to time).

    Positive Points:

    Main Quest (people often complain that the main quest is weak but I still don't understand why, for me the story of Dovahkiin is quite interesting and my only criticism of the campaign is maybe its duration, but I always mix main quest with side quests, and exploration and that ends up making me immersed in the universe in such a way that I just don't realize it's short)

    Freedom (Honestly? is one of the best points of this game, you can just skip the main quest and still have several stories and adventures to try out, you can skip all the quests and still have immense fun exploring this game, you can being a werewolf, vampire, wizard, warrior, archer, the freedom provided here is surreal)

    Immersion (If you stop to experience the universe created here, you will have one of the best experiences ever in a game, you open a book and suddenly a sidequest starts, in it you meet a ghost, discover a forge made by a lost civilization and the story unfolds, maybe you are just walking and you find a house in the forest, there you discover a place of "appreciation" of a different skooma, you use it and end up trapped by vampires)

    Universe creation (You can spend hours and hours just reading books, uncovering several stories that took place before Skyrim's timeline or even current issues in the game, it's really fascinating)

    Soundtrack (It's just fabulous, the background songs, the battle songs, the tavern songs (highlight for , the song The Dragonborn Comes), the music played in Sovngarde, are all just amazing)

    Gameplay (another point that people often complain about but I particularly find the gameplay satisfactory, I played most of mine as a wizard so ...)

    Atmosphere (I love the Nordic theme so I don't need to say anything else lol)

    Negative points:

    Be the leader of everything (In all faction quests you will end up as the leader or top figure within that faction, it bothers me a lot because in my view it doesn't make sense to be archmage of Winterwold school and leader of thieves guild. To buy houses you need to become thane and ends up becoming thane of all cities which again doesn't make sense and the same can be said of becoming champion of all daedras at the same time)

    Companions (Most of them have no personality and end up serving only as cargo, I like Lydia, Brelyna but this is more due to my immersion in the game than character development)

    Repetition of voice actors

    Anyway, it's a fantastic game and it was with it that I had my first experience with RPGS making me love this style of game. I would say that Skyrim is a must for everyone who likes video games.    … Expand

    Skyrim is to this date a nearly perfect RPG experience. Even after 6 playthroughs, nothing beats the atmosphere, the soundtrack and this warm feeling like arriving home. Everybody should have played this game at least once! I played the Legendary Edition with all the DLCs - which are great. Overall rating: 9.4.

In Skyrim you know what every perk does because it says it clearly so you know exactly what you're getting. On top of this you also have so many great quest lines you can complete no matter what kind of character you choose to be. Now I'm not saying every storyline is completely perfect much like some of the glitches found in the game they're still entertaining. I've played Skyrim for thousands of hours and made hundreds of characters and I still go back to it every now and again because it really is that good.     TES V es uno de los mejores videojuegos en mundo abierto, por no decir el mejor. Ya que TES V y la saga en general tiene un lore inmenso, superando a Halo, Fallout, God of War... Teniendo conflictos creíbles, como la gran guerra entre los imperiales y la capa de la tormenta, entre los dragones con Alduin, conflictos internos en el clan de los hermanos, el gremio, etc. Las historiasTES V es uno de los mejores videojuegos en mundo abierto, por no decir el mejor. Tiene un arsenal bueno, hay muchas armas, ya sean mazos, espadas, arcos, o algún otro tipo de arma, ademas de los hechizos de destrucción, conjuracion... y como olvidarnos de los numerables gritos, donde no solo se limitan a dañar al oponente, si no que tmb podemos invocar dragones, realentizar el tiempo, una especie de control mental a los dragones en un dlc, etc. Las mazmorras estan bien pero tienen 2 problemas... 1, terminan cansando 2. algunas no las puedes completar porq tendrías que hablar con alguien antes de hacerte la mazmorra, haciendo que no te incite tanto a explorar el mundo, al menos no son como Oblivion que esas mazmorras si que son malas. y repetitivas. Pero lo peor de todo Skyrim sin duda son sus bugs, es increible como en la especial edition sigue habiendo bugs, y no simples bugs visuales... si no que tambien bugs donde directamente no puedes seguir la mision, y esto es una tocaddura de huevos importante. Una obra maestra con una narrativa magistral con sus muuuchos fallos.… Expand

    Se não fosse q quantidade ABSURDA de bugs que o jogo tem, eu daria 10 facilmente, o mundo extremamente vivo, personagens e falas icônicas e obviamente uma quantidade enorme de quests para serem feitas torna esse jogo magico

    The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim may be one of the greatest videogames ever made, there are infinite ways you can play the game. You can be an archer, warrior, wizard, thief... whatever you want. On top of that, there is a massive world for you to explore. There are hundreds of dungeons, caves, houses... as well as hundreds of items, potions, weapons, spells... the list of content is endless!

    Skyrim is the largest, and most compelling work that I've had the opportunity to play this year. It's engaging, engrossing, and will take over your gaming life for many months to come. Not only is Skyrim among the best that 2011 has to offer, but for me, this is, without hesitation, the Game of the Year.
