Missing levels! and music, and has changes for the worse. It is an unforgivable, unfinished remake.

I went in to this game with no nostalgia, so people with fond memories might feel differently. Unfortunately, the gameplay is much to bland for me to recommend. You go forward and press X. 1 hour later, you win. Co-op sounds like it would be fun, but somehow ends up being worse than single-player. The screen becomes a hideous jumbled mess from which no enjoyment is found. The game is a I went in to this game with no nostalgia, so people with fond memories might feel differently. The game is a piss-poor value, too, with little re-playability to be had. Skip this, and go buy 'Splosion Man instead. Expand

They updated the graphics but they didnt do anything else. I believe Battlefield 1943 should have been included in the summer of arcade roster instead of this game. I cant believe i wasted 800 points on this mediocre title. Shame on Ubisoft for attempting to sell this game originally for 1200 points. The great graphics don't do enough to bring up the old and broken gameplay. It's literally smash buttons. That's it, that's as deep as the gameplay goes. In addition the controls in my opinion are clunky and don't server the game well. The final boss comes down to, "do you have enough lives to beat him?" Boring. Even my five year old thinks this game sucks.

If you like this kind of game, use the same money to buy the SNES version - it's much better.

As a fan of the SNES version of this game, I played the demo and was sorely disappointed. They completely changed the fighting system and as such removed all the strategy and thought that was required in the original. The graphics were good but the new soundtrack is awful, they should have kept the original songs and re-done them with new instruments because it was one of the best As a fan of the SNES version of this game, I played the demo and was sorely disappointed. 1. One of the best XBLA hack-and-slash classics ever to grace Xbox Live Arcade.

This shallow, generic brawler is coasting on nostalgia fumes and the TMNT brand. Ubisoft didn't ruin the original arcade game; it just didn't do enough with it. Virtually nothing has been added to the gameplay, so you're paying a premium for updated graphics you may not even like.
  3. This is what it is and nothing more: a good remake. It's too simple compared to other beat 'em ups like Castle Crashers, but it also reminds us of those times when we shouted cowabunga when playing our favourite SNES game.
