    It's got a decent length for a game of its time and it certainly worth playing more than once. The visuals are surprisingly vibrant. Most importantly, it's fun. But the online portion of SOR2 is executed poorly. And, once again, Backbone Entertainment presents a classic SEGA title with absolutely no extras.

    Streets of Rage 2 is still an enjoyable experience to this day, but like other traditional beat-em ups, the game shows its age with its limited gameplay that gets old far too quickly.

    What is certain though is that Streets of Rage 2 is a classic title that fully deserves to be revived and remembered in modern day gaming. Now, pass me the pain relief and I’ll be on my way.

    Great game from the past finaly on Xbox 360 (and Playstation 3). This game gave Megadrive/Genesis owners a big smile on their face. This was (and for me still IS) the best home street brawler game, and now i can play this on my 55 inch TV where the color seems to jump from the screen. Animation is still as fluid as i remember, and game play is just perfect, especially when you use a fighting stick, it feels like a true arcade game. Can't wait for the Nintendo 3DS version, with added game play modes and 3D effect!… Full Review »

Even today the graphics and sound effects/music are second to none. The controls are just about perfect and the fact that you can get this for only $5 on XBOX Live is a steal.
