Jun 1, 2011This 3D shoot'em up has relative freedom of action and good graphics, but lacks in gameplay mechanics.
-
May 27, 2011A mediocre, boring space shooter. Some ideas are interesting, but clunky controls and uninspired visuals makes this title a complete waste.
-
May 21, 2011Star Raiders feels like it's a cheap port from the original arcade classic but the graphics tell otherwise. Other then the graphics this game is a downer on every level. The controls are strange, the gameplay lacks variation and the storyline is just boring.

May 30, 2011Atari wanted to make a nice remake of a game often considered as one of the most important of all times. But in the end, everything went wong. Avoid this one at all costs.
-
May 18, 2011Star Raiders achieves the incredible, somehow taking all the fun out of being a hotshot space pilot.
-
May 15, 2011The problem with Star Raiders is that it feels too bland.
-
May 13, 2011The results feel neutered and unfinished.
-
Jun 25, 2011It's best to simply pretend that the Star Raiders remake never happened.
-
Jun 4, 2011Star Raiders is doggerel: derivative, insubstantial tripe that fails to entertain on any level while simultaneously tarnishing the legacy of a classic Atari 800 game. I can't remember the last time I have played something so objectively bad, and Atari should be ashamed that they are actually receiving money for this.
-
May 28, 2011It has been long time since I encountered a game that fails to deliver on all counts. Everything promised feels wasted, incomplete or just old. The graphics are outdated and boring, there is no depth in the strategic elements what so ever and the combat is repetitive. This may have worked in 1979, but not 32 years later.
-
May 22, 2011With insipid art, painfully boring gameplay and a lack of any sense of professionalism or class, Star Raiders just can't come recommended to anyone, even to those with more time and money than they know what to do with.
