Should be called the "Sega Mega Drive Really Good But Not Quite Ultimate Collection".
-
All things considered and all the highs and lows of the Sega Mega Drive experience, Ultimate Collection is a good buy for any gamer old or new.
-
With so many games here you do find yourself flitting from one game to the next, however even though it's enhanced, it's still all a bit old, perhaps Sega should begin to concentrate on this generation a little more instead of living in the past.
-
Take Ultimate Collection for what it is – an inexpensive assortment of classic SEGA titles – and you’ll be hard-pressed to find a better deal on the market.
-
For what Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection lacks in quality, it at least partially makes up for by its sheer quantity of emulated games.
-
This collection is a pretty decent compilation with some of the best titles the Mega Drive has seen. If you're one of those gamers that is still longing for the glory days of the 16 bit era then you shouldn't miss out on this title. If you're not, keep in mind that the games on this disc offer you nothing more than the games like they where back in the days. Meaning outdated graphics and squeaky noises. Something a real fan would die for.
-
As good as some of the games in this package are, these golden memories come with a price tag to match.
-
Why keep buying Genesis collections?
