Nov 4, 2011Seriously it's like they filtered all the crap and only put absolutely everything fun in it. I cannot see any flaw in this game It's the best sonic game since sonic adventure 2 10/10 love it.

Nov 1, 2011The real Sonic is finally back! Modern Sonic it's cool, but i, you, they, he, she, ALL, think Classic Sonic is back. Thanks SEGA for this great game.

Nov 1, 2011I absolutely love it. I have no problems with the games and nothing came off as "bad controls" to me. Just a fun filled, pure Sonic speed adventure. Yeah, there could've been more boss battles but I'm completely satisfied with both Sonic styles of gameplay, they nailed it this time!

Nov 4, 2011Sonic is back at the top of his game. This game is just all around great, great graphics, great gameplay, great story and great music. The best game I've played this year by far.

Nov 9, 2011This game was full of nostalgia throughout. I own sonic 1 and 2 for sega genesis and playing generations with the redone maps like chemical zone and adventure battles city escape made the game so much fun.

Nov 20, 2011By far the best Sonic game since Sonic 3 & Knuckles. Is it perfect? No. But it's the most fun you will have had with Sonic in a long time. Especially the Classic gameplay.

Dec 12, 2011Awesome game, but very short and easy to beat. The 3D stages are way better than the 2D stages. I wanted to get the game so long and I was not expecting it to be so awesome

Dec 30, 2011Always on Metacritic the critics make the good games look medicore, bad, or just terrible. This game has a great storyline, great levels/missions, etc. This is probably in my 2nd most favorite Sonic game of all time. There are only very minor flaws to this. All in all, you should buy this is you have extra money lying around.

Sep 24, 2014The best game that SEGA could do to homage the fans of Sonic series. Everything is cool: graphics, music, level design, classic and modern in just one game, and the dialogues that jokes his own series. Incredible!
-
Mar 15, 2013The best Sonic game in years. The game is beautiful, and has excellent gameplay really memorable moments. The only problem is being short, I would more stages, especially the 16-bit era.

Feb 10, 2012You won't be disappointed by the changes that have been made to make this a great experience.

Dec 11, 2011Sonic Generations lets you play as two different Sonics, one from the present and one from the past. The first levels are fantastic, but the level design soon gets dull. The time trials and the music is good though.

Pelit (Finland)Dec 9, 2011It's somewhat short and the boss battles are truly awful, but otherwise Sonic Generations is a solid platformer. Revisiting old levels is nostalgic and having two Sonics to control is a nice touch. [Dec 2011]
